Simply the best Chinese takeaway in Edinburgh the food is cooked fresh in front of you. Been ordering here for 16 years and have never been let down

I stood at the bar for 20 minutes and there was not a single employee, people were waiting in line and no one came for another 15 minutes

food was absolutely delicious and very good.delivery service is excellent too.

Nice food, fresh made. Lemon sauce a bit too strong and black bean tofu would've been nicer with more variety of veg, not just onion.

Third time takeaway. Very disappointed after two previous meals, which were very good, this one was a real mish mash. Felt like it was done by two different cooks. One accomplished one on their first ever shift. Won't use again.

The delivery driver was agitated on arrival. I had written the buzzer number in the comment box as full address wasn’t recognised on JE. She then phoned me after apparently buzzing twice and being in the stair twice (presumably using the wrong buzzer). Not sure why I wasn’t phoned straight away rather than waiting to be angry about it, snap at me on the phone, and then give my partner an earful when he went downstairs to collect it. Food quality was generally poor and delivery time was 1hr45mins

First time ordering from 'Kam Lo' is no from me. Curry sauce had a weird taste chips were stale. Egg fried rice bland. Will not be ordering again🙃

Delivered later that Just Eat initially thought, but when the order was accepted I was notified at that point and they delivered to that time. Very happy with the food and will use again.

Considering the distance we are from the Kam Lo, the food arrived piping hot and top quality as always. The delivery time was acceptable as they are always very busy, the quality of the food is obviously appealing to many. Keep up the great work, your food is amazing.

I have used a few Chinese takeaway's over the years but keep coming back to this one. The food always arrives hot and early. The fact the shop is only ten minutes walk away might have something to do with that, though. I find the variety of foods interesting, and I really like the Won Ton soup, the quantity and quality of the food is good. I am happy to recommend this shop to anyone.

If you want brick hard ribs that you can bounce off a wall go here. Phoned up to inform of said brick hard ribs & they weren’t interested. Very expensive.

I have eaten from here for more than 20 years and never had a poor meal. I highly recommend this take away, it is tasty, quality food and cook in front of you, ensuring you can watch your food being prepared.

Our sweet and sour chicken was very tough and chewy. Perhaps left over chicken bits? Not sure we would go back.

sorry to say no longer ordering here again over 2 hours waiting still and then say delivered and 15 mins later say its on way used to be great here but no longer

Curry spicy and 🔥 wong ton s terrible crispy batter nowt else rotten. Only thing that was ok was prawn crackers .expensive. 1st and last time wife went as my Chinese on holiday.

Would not go back, rice tasted fishy and main meal was chewy Desert of fried bananas was mushy. What a waste of money.

Great Chinese take away. Kitchen and cooking can be seen from counter so you can watch your meal being made. Pleasant staff. Very clean.

Ordered our first takeaway from Kam Lo tonight, starter and two mains. The food was very good quality and fresh. Perfect freshly cooked batter on the mixed platter starter, great mains with perfectly cooked vegetables with a slight crunch. I sometimes suffer with food allergies with some takeaways, sneezing etc, but I didn't have any with the Kam Lo meal Thank you chef!

Fantastic Chinese food provided and 1st class delivery service provided. Been using here for years and still as good as the first day. Excellent range of flavours through the dishes and a reasonable portion for the price. Highly recommended.
