Called in this evening for set meal 2B Piping hot, tasty and large portions. Will be visiting again soon!

Great meal. Great staff, and even dropped us home in the pouring rain. Absolute legends. Promised a review and you deserved it.

My daughter and her friend bought 2 trays of chips from the take away and as my daughter was eating hers she found a stone inside one of the chips, wont be letting her eat from there again.

Excellent service and the food was wonderful! Delivered to Tonteg. Card or cash payments. Highly recommended

After that, I was hungry and decided to get a chinaese. The lavatory-esque interior intrigued me as it reminded me of the poo I having that morning. I hadn’t left my house for the past 5 days so I’d forgotten about all my oriental knowledge - so I got the chicken chow mane (most popular option). I’d had a very upsetting day due to travel mobility difficulties, so was extremely delighted that my food came very quickly!! Later on afterwards I got home for my eatings, the first few bites were delicious; simple. as. that. The fumes of soy brought back gushing memories of my voluntary school work in Taiwan (19:64) Unfortunately this was cut short. My weak gums stood no chance against such brutal ferocity - it was indeed… a bone. It was clearly wedged between my molars, in a panic stricken frenzy, I began repeatedly slamming my head against the fridge to dislodge it. This caused extreme discomfort and the fridge capsized, spilling condensed milk and egg nog all over my Persian rug given to me by my wife. Therefore I ate the rest and was good.

Regular buyer for many years..No longer delivers..food picked up instead..very poor quality and taste..mostly dumped..not going back..so disappointed

Have a takeaway from here once or twice a week always good food and always thought I was a valued customer how wrong was I, ordered tonight had a dish which was uneatable tried to tell the staff 3 different conversations but apparently I'm in the wrong and I don't really know what I'm talking about, OK that's OK time to go and take my money elsewhere

Chips was under cooked and stuck to papper really greasyJumbo sausage was dry and wasn't cooked probably, left in the range for too longFish cake didnt taste right at allSauces was squshed 1.25L coke was £2.40Wont be going there again!!Chips at this place are mediocre at their very best, tonights chips were by far the worst and a weird taste on them. Best thing to eat here are the fortune cookies. If Trip Advisor had an option to give a rating of zero, that's what I would rate it. Will never order from here again, full stop.

The best around. Always cooked fresh and food piping hot! Not too expensive. However there is a wait on weekends as it is popular so order earlier the better. Can't fault any meal!

been eating at kam hon for years, on the odd ocassion its not open we have to go elsewhere there is no comparison everything is always the same, fresh and tasty also one of the cheapest takeaways around definately recommend!only negative phone always busy - get another line KAM HON you need it

Standard Chinese and chippy menu, but you can have popadoms with your meal. Quick service from friendly staff. Enjoyed my special fried rice, very tasty succulent meat and lovely gravy.

Food was ok, definitely had better, first time ordering there as was driving through Beddau, and it was convenient to stop there. When I arrived, the order was ready to be collected and I arrived earlier than expected, so that was great, the owner just had to do the chips and put them in the bag, but before they went in with the bag I asked if there was salt and vinegar on them because she hadn't asked if I wanted salt and vinegar (and she'd already wrapped the chips). This was not the right thing to do clearly, she went on and on and on about how I didn't tell her on the phone when making the order that I wanted salt and vinegar on my chips... I explained that it was my first time ordering there and that I'm used to being asked when they're doing the chips. Honestly, it was like she had to have the last word. She told me she didn't have time to ask every customer if they want salt and vinegar, fair enough, if they were busy, but I was the only customer there. She continued to moan about how I needed to tell her over the phone that I wanted salt and vinegar on my chips, I honestly couldn't believe how much she was going on about it, maybe she was just having a bad day, but would score her zero for customer service, there's no excuse for rudeness. Maybe a 5/10 for food, but wouldn't go there again!

Food was much better than i expected. Looks like your average chip shop from the outside but the food is great quality. A big selection on the Chinese menu and delicious. Would definitely recomend.

I have never been disappointed with the food from here. they are always busy but it never shows in the quality of the food

I've been using this takeaway for 30 years and the curry sauce is hard to beat. I challenge anyone to find tastier food and the chow mein is as good now as it was when I was at school. Keep it up!

Had a small tray of curry rice and chips didn't enjoy one bit it used to be a really nice place to eat .. not anymore

Great place , what I like about this place you can have chips ,fried rice and curry sauce with out ordering it from the kitchen . Its all ready in vats in the fish shop section ,fab.

This is the best Chinese take away in miles! It has the tastiest gravy and the best cooked chips ever. The yung chow fried rice is stunning and so is the chicken curry. They deliver for a small fee. The owners are helpful & friendly. Worth a visit.

Lovely staff .can't wait to buy another meal soon and everything is good quality trays knife forks etc I do highly recommend this place to tourist or local buyers and a quick dine in takeaway.

We have been using Kam Hon take away for some time locally and have never had anything other than brilliant food. Its really busy, but very efficient and quick service. It is so popular as the food is so good; the currys are amazing and the chips are the best ever. Try the sausage in batter as the batter is always light and crispy. Delivery available but parking can be difficult so park around the corner is best.

One of my favourite Chinese takeaways. Their chips are always lovely and I'd recommend the crispy chicken as it's delicious. Portions are good and it's one of the cheapest takeaways in the area. The only thing I would say is that sometimes the food can be over sweet.

Excellent, reliable take away Chinese food. Friendly staff and quick turn around on orders. I'm yet to have a poor meal here. Seems to have plenty of fresh vegetables in the dishes. Excellent value and generous portions.

Go here every Saturday and have done for years. Exellent choice of menu and all food freshly cooked to a high standard as ordered. Same Family run business for as long as i can remember and always first class Chinese food.A*

We ordered from this lovely chinese takeaway today 09/03/15, and we were not dissapointed! Telephone order and payment available. I got told food would be within 45 minutes and only waited 25.Upon delivery I got handed my receipt which was very comforting. The crispy beef was to die for and very fresh! Infact barely any oil was visable. The chicken fried rice was also just as tasty. Would definitely eat from here again and reccommend to others!

This is usually our favourite Chinese, however our latest take away was very salty and overpowered everything. Disappointing.

Quite disappointed with my meal there was recommended but never again it didn't live up to the hype I don't think they can cook both fish and Chinese they need to concentrate on one before doing the both !

We were recommended Kam Hon by a friend about a year ago and haven't been anywhere else since.Their crispy chicken with chilli & salt is delicious as is their curry sauce, pork in garlic, special fried rice and the crispy chicken Cantonese style. They also do a small range of 'English' dishes including sausage in batter and pies and they also offer open tray food to take out.Might be a little pricier than other takeaways but I'm more than happy to pay a little extra for fantastic food.

Top quality food and service every single time. I've never had a bad meal, there is a huge variety available to order either to collect or have delivered. I have even ordered for 40 people on two occasions and even then not a single thing could be faulted. Keep up the good work

What i like about this take away is that you can order your food way before the opening times and its ready when you get there.Very nice chinese food and nice friendly staff.

Awesome. My friends have been ordering from here for years and dreaming of the gravy, rice and chips as we have all lived all over the country. When it was suggested as a quick dinner before a night out I jumped at the chance. Not disappointed it was selfish and made quickly

Staff very friendly and food good ! Althought the outside of the shop is dated and doesn't shout out 'come in and eat', you must look beyond that and go in for some food. The food is good and it is well worth a few return visits to sample a variety of the dishes. 'Come on' to 'Kam Hon'
