Number one place Lowly food nice coffee

Popped in literally for a quick coffee and a sandwich whole waiting for someone. Hadn't been here before but the service was superb - friendly, helpful, nice. The coffee was great, the sandwich was nicely done. Definitely drop by, next time I'll be ordering a hot meal and taking time to enjoy this! It was great to see so many people dropping in.

Very nice coffee shop. Food was very nice went with the English Breakfast. Lovely people from the owner to the chef to the staffs. Great experience with work colleagues would recommend if you are in the area.

I’ve been coming here with my family for a long time today is the absolute worst experience I’ve had the cafe was near enough empty but we still had a 20 min wait for 2 coffees and a glass of juice which the staff are normally very attentive especially with drinks we made a food order and when we asked what the delay was we was rudely met by an abrupt waitress who I assume is new she lied and stated we have to wait as they are rushed off there feet when me and my partner explained this is the worst service we have experienced and that we drive for an hour just to come here once a week she disappeared to which two male staff came running round the corner shouting at me and my partner in front of our 4yr old daughter very unprofessional I was accused of calling the waitress names which I only stated her attitude excuse and behaviour wasn’t acceptable and unprofessional for the industry she is in which is a fact not an insult I will never ever return to this place but we did find a much busier friendlier and faster service down the road the abbey cafe so thank u for your awful service I will never recommend this hell hole shame as the food at kalick was usual good but said waitress isn’t aware that they have halal sausage and told my partner he must have pork or nothing I’ve added details of a much nicer place we found due to this awful experience

Came here for a brunch. The English breakfasts are £6.80 each. Not bad price. Can choose different combinations. Other choices on the menu too if you fancied something other than English breakfast. Plenty of seating inside and out. Service was quick. On the main high street in Waltham Abbey.

Awful burgers (frozen) no sauce even though we asked for it, when we asked again they gave us an empty bottle. Tasteless chips.

Nice food. Warm and kind staff. Dog friendly place. Very pleased.

Ordered Chicken Caesar Salad (£5:50) & Kalik Salad bowl (£5:70) and got cut up Birds Eye Crispy Chicken on a sad salad! Very poor☹️

Popped in here on the "off chance", for a warming drink to avoid the cold wind! Lovely extensive menu with lots of simple options. Coffee was hot, lovely and frothy. With proper sugar & sauce dispensers , rather than the infernal sachets! Food arrived swiftly but freshly cooked. Well presented and delicious. Looks to have open air tables front & back for our brief summer! Nice simple, clean "old style" toilet. Will definately be back when we are in the area again!

Exceptional coffee house that's very trans friendly. Have been here a few times and have never been failed to be impressed by the quality of the coffee and food. The staff are brilliant and have taken a perfect approach with Covid measures, including staff wearing facemasks and clear partitions between the tables. Honestly can't recommend this place highly enough <3

I did not enjoy my flat white coffee, just not tasty. My strawberry cheese cake left an unpleasant after taste in my mouth. I wanted the apple pie and custard, but by lunch time they had ran out. My companion said the coffee was okay and enjoyed the carrot cake. Small hidden garden; we sat out the front. The High Street has no through traffic.

The owners are so friendly and welcoming . They are covid safe. Their food is delicious and very reasonably priced . Have visited many times .

Fairly basic but well cooked food, good coffee, nice little garden put the back, excellent value. Nice to sit outside too.

The place is pretty cheap and the food really reflects it. Everything is greasy and covered with oil. It’s just not needed. Just a below average cafe, nothing special at all.

Decent breakfast. Not sure why they had the front door open with the outside temp at 8 degrees. There must be other ways to show you are open.!

Turkish breakfast needs a lot of work, consisted of 6 tiny pieces of sucuck sausage a 5inch piece of French bread which left me baffled me at a Turkish breakfast, olives from a jar in brine not marinated bit of salad and cheap feta for£6:90 I was really disappointed. Small portions that said lovely coffee and a nice venue in itself.

A nice varied menu in pleasant surroundings . Very good value for a basic , no frills lunch . Would be good for a coffee stop but could do with a few pastries on the menu .

My family and I visit here often for brunch. The food and service are good. The back garden is nice. They are currently doing some remodeling so it will be even nicer.

Great place to go on a sunny day, nice outside garden, we always go for the turkish breakfast which is always fresh and pristine. Friendly staff also, waiting for a hot day to visit again!

The food is the usual, So had a breakfast, just average to satisfy a hungry man, the coffee impossible to drink, I tried the cappuccino was impossible to drink, I settled for a black tea to avoid further disappointment .

Great choice so everyone happy. Good fast service. Delicious food, beautifully presented. Accommodated my choice of panini filling. Very reasonable. Spotless, comfortable. Friendly, patient staff. My panini accompanied by dressed salad. Cappuccino good and only £2. 3 x Lunch and 2 puds, 3 drinks under £30

KALIK coffee shop is a nice place for a coffee and a light lunch. The food is good and the people are very nice.

Excellent establishment that goes that extra bit more to satisfy their customers and they make a mean frappè.
