Kaalika Palace Restaurant in Wandsworth

Desde el momento en que entramos en el ambiente en Kaalika se sintió como un cálido abrazo. El personal era increíblemente amable y conocedor del menú, especialmente nuestro servidor, que era muy servicial y conocedor de cada ingrediente en cada plato, ayudándonos a elegir nuestra comida para la noche. Sus recomendaciones eran perfectas. Para empezar compartimos langostino tempura muy crujiente y delicioso con salsa de ajo increíble y también tuvimos samosa chaat, lleno de sabores, e ingredientes frescos. ¡INCREÍBLE! Para el principal tuvimos curry de pescado y curry de langostinos con azafrán pilau basmati arroz y ajo naan pan. Era una obra maestra culinaria, cada bocado rebosaba de sabor. Mi reacción fue WOW WOW WOW! No era muy fan del pan de ajo naan, pero el que tenía en Kaalika era algo especial y definitivamente cambió mi opinión. Definitivamente voy a pedir uno la próxima vez! Para terminar nuestra increíble noche tuvimos postres tradicionales indios caseros Kulfi mezclados con todos los sabores pistacho, jengibre y rosa todo recomendado por nuestro increíble servidor. Nuestra noche fue realmente especial! Definitivamente vamos a volver para probar algo nuevo de su menú! ¡GRACIAS! por hacer nuestra velada tanooo especial!

¡Qué gran, genuinamente familiar, lugar! El menú tiene tanto variedad como los “antiguos favoritos”. El servicio es amable y eficiente, y realmente es muy acogedor Los platos son deliciosos pero no demasiado picantes, y no son todos salsa sino solo porciones carnosas realmente buenas (o no! ) Algunos alimentos no indios también, con algunas influencias de China y otros lugares de Asia, pero todavía tiene un montón de platos indios ¡Un favorito en particular fue la caña de cordero! Pero otros platos también excelentes Solíamos ir a Black Salt, pero esto es mucho mejor y ahora es nuestro ir, incluso si un paseo más largo para nosotros ¡Muy recomendable!

Comida increíble y servicio amable! Nos gustó especialmente las chuletas de cordero que eran super tiernas y muy bien condimentado. También vale la pena visitar los desiertos.

The chef cooked delicious food. We chose the lunch menu. This was more than enough and the variety of veg and non veg dishes was great. I would def recommend this place.

excellent indian food after a while for us. I loved the thali arrangement . would rather have a weekend brunch of thali every other week at this place. butter chicken and lamb rohan josh were lovely

We visited without booking on a Sat eve in early May. It was surprisingly busy… word is clearly spreading about the quality of Kalika’s food. Service was efficient and very friendly. It’s a family run restaurant and it was lovely to see the owners young children feeling at home while their parents worked…. They had clearly escaped their elders who were cooking the delicious food! Starters of momos and chickpea chat were excellent. A specially made to order chicken rogon and the coconut prawn curry were good, however the absolute standout was probably the best naan bread I have ever eaten. I have t stopped thinking about it one week on! Next time we come we’ll be more adventurous and sample more of the specialities…. Lamb chops, vegetable dishes and tandoori items looked divine. We will be back… oh and it was great value at just £70 for 2 of us with starters, 2 curries, rice, bread and 3/4 beers. Equal quality and better value than other Sheen comparisons. Just don’t expect sophistication… expect great a great value family affair and you will not be disappointed.
