We love Jenny's cafe! We used to live just down the road and would often pop in for a egg and bacon roll (bread is super soft!!) Now we live Abit further away we often make trips for a cheaper lunch out in Balham! My favorite is fish fingers and chips! The staff are lovely and they even opened for us on a Sunday so we could gather our friends and family for a meal after our son's baptism.

A little awkward parking but not overly difficult. Good service and I was only there for a takeaway baguette. good food ++

Best Cafe in Balham ! Highly recomad this place. Top quality food, very tasty. Proper, traditional english breaksfasts. The coffee is one of the best. Very clean place and friendly staff.

Only one other customer was eating in when I was there although a few people came in for takeaways. Breakfast was served politely and quickly and the coffee was good, plain, don't like poncey coffee. Only thing I'd say is the mushrooms, were still white when I got them, more oil to soften them and cook longer, apart from that, nothing, for a cafe even the sausage tasted of something which doesn't always happen and the bacon was perfect.

Nice place, small portions but okay for the price. Work colleague had cheese in his sandwich with hot items and it was freezing but overall okay staff could be more happy and maybe ask how Ur doing e.c.t

A nice clean cafe in the side street of buzzing Balham High Road. The food is good and very reasonably priced for the area. The cafe itself is clean and staff are friendly. Much better than the highly priced cafes closer to the High Rd.i have dined in and also taken away. I live locally and it's great to meet up with friends and go to Jenny's for brunch

Brilliant cafe, always clean from the tables to the toilets. They always pick up the phone so you can place an order to eat in or take out. They always repeat back the order without you having to ask. Excellent team work with delicious food at a reasonable prices, in particular the chicken kebab, the healthy option

Very good little café. A varied menu at good prices. A selection of all day breakfasts, which include tea or coffee age toast, all for £6.50 or less, selection of burgers, grilled food etc. Ladies in the shop are friendly and helpful. Overall cleanliness is good, decor not too outdated or shabby. Popular with builders and trades people as well as the locals.

This is only one of two cafe's in Balham left offering decent traditional cafe breakfasts and lunch without the high artisan prices. It has all the usual cafe food, and the menu is quite extensive. The staff are friendly but not invasive and as a regular they actually remember my regular daily order (lunch or breakfast). I've seen parents bring their kids in and so is child friendly (but certainly not noisy). The only issue is that it is about a 5mins walk from Balham town centre. However that san be a good thing - it's a true local's secret amongst the expensive artisan cafe's. I can recommend this no frills cafe.
