Had this double burger. A great amount of heat if you like it, and just a beautiful taste. This will not be my last visit

It's small stall in Brixton Village area and they deliver! Used them for 2good2go service and was given great portion. I had Crazy Lamb burger and chips. Burger was juicy and fresh, never had lamb burger before, meat could have used a bit more spices but overall was very good, great sauce too. Chips were excellent, not soggy and all, all of them crunchy. Give them a try, they deserve it.

Baba G’s in Brixton is one of those places where the flavor narrative is like a Bollywood drama—intense, spicy, and full of twists. On the day in question, Baba G’s decided to deliver not just food, but a test of patience. As the doorbell chimed, the anticipation was palpable. However, what arrived at my doorstep was a scene of mayhem—a burger that looked like it had taken a detour through a tornado. The bun had made a great escape from the burger itself, and the mayonnaise was more "abstract art" than condiment, liberally applied all around the bun's perimeter. It seems the burger tried to assemble itself en route but gave up midway. Calling the food 'cold' would be a kindness—it was as if the burger had decided to chill out before making its grand appearance. Honestly, airplane food comes better prepared, and we all know the bar isn’t set high up there in the skies. But let’s give credit where credit is due—the flavors, oh the flavors! They were genuinely fantastic, a harmonious symphony of spices that brought tears to my eyes, both from their fiery touch and the tragic coldness with which they were served. Baba G’s somehow manages to deliver on taste, ensuring the flavor profile punches well above its weight class, which almost, *almost* makes you forgive the logistical fumble. In summary, while Baba G's flavor keeps my heart warm, the temperature of their delivery left me cold. Here’s hoping next time, the heat extends beyond the spice rack and into the actual temperature of the food. Baba G’s, I believe in your flavors—let's keep them hot!

Best burger I’ve had and masala fries are crispy and flavourful

Served random people before me even though I waited ages. Not very good customer service. And it’s not the first time I’ve eaten here and they are inconsistent with food size. I paid £7.50 for nuggets and I had less than 5 pathetic size pieces you are ripping people off and I waited 20 minutes for this DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Nice food but small portions. £4 for these chips. The menu picture has them actually cooked (!) and in a much larger portion. False advertising. The chips were floppy - not hard to follow the recipe and cook them for the right amount of time. Disappointed

I had the chicken tikka burger and I loved it. Perfect combination of flavours. I also had the loaded fries (loaded with lamb and sauces). I would definitely recommend and will be going again. Spent around £23 pounds on both. FYI the drinks were from the bar opposite. Baba G's is located about 7mins approx from Brixton tube. Baba G's is in a massive marquee tent (permanently here) with a number of eating huts within. There are toilets here too. Whilst we were eating I asked for the heaters to be put on which security kindly did. I am excited to try the other huts in this place too.

Absolutely delicious abs exotically spiced burgers. I tried both the chicken tikka grilled burger and the naga lamb burger and the taste was divine! The almost Pop Brixton is also always buzzing so it creates a great vibe when visiting.

The reason I’m giving this a 4 and not a 3 is because I might just not enjoy lamb as much as I thought I did. The lamb burger isn’t that bad. It’s fairly juicy and quite filling. However the spices on the burger I didn’t really enjoy. It doesn’t feel like you’re eating a burger, but rather something else entirely. The loaded fries were nice and crispy, chicken on top was kind of dry. Overall - it’s a nice little halal food shack in the middle of that Brixton pop up area. Would I go again? Not really.

The chicken tikka burger was so disappointing. There was nothing special about this burger, the sauces were badly done. The mint raita was just yogurt, the bhaji was soggy, and the tamarind sweet chutney overpowered the whole burger. There was no fresh crisp basic veg like a slice of tomato or nicely caramelised onions. Seriously what is this trash?

I buy a burger here once in a while, and it’s on point. Really nice, and tastes the same every time I visit. My only suggestion is to have your allergy menu available. Upon my last 2 times visiting, the cook claimed specific allergens were present, then backtracked. Not something to guess, or leave to chance. Loads of people have allergies.

Guys hold on there if you want best halal lamb burger in town then this is the place. Forget about beef honestly this is amazingggg with touch of desi/asian touch. 100% you will love this go for double patty and you will thank me later. 😋

We've ordered them as take away and the food is excellent. They have the best home delivery chips. No idea how they do it but they arrive crispy. Not a single soggy one. And the spicy salt they use is incredible. The 1st time I ordered a double lamb burger and unfortunately even though it tasted very good it was very dry. 2nd time I ordered the pannier one and Oh my God!! Incredible burger. Could not recommend them more.

Went to the one in Peckham market and couldn’t be tastier! So fairly priced too. Couldn’t believe it. The masala nuggets are amazing! And the service was impeccable - such a nice guy

We got take-away from here during our vacation, and I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. The masala fries were excellent, the two burgers we tried (lone naga and crazy lamb) were excellent, and the tandoori chicken nuggets were excellent. Get a burger from these guys; they're a fascinating alternative to traditional burgers and a great use of eastern flavors!

Good lamb burger, patty was well seasoned with herbs and spice. Portion is quite small for 10gbp though.

Solid flavourful burgers to have when you're tired of the standard fare that you get everywhere else. This is inside Pop Brixton, which unlike it's website claims, is not open 7 days a week. I believe they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Insane double lamb burger. Friendly staff. A little bit misleading on the website as we thought the restaurant was in Brixton but its the pop up.

As other reviewers have said there really is hardly anyone else that does a lamb burger as juicy and flavorful as these guys. But the surprise star of the meal are the spiced potato croquettes! Perfect consistency (crispy and soft and fluffy but with bags of flavour and good spice without an overpowering chilli kick)

I ordered from these guys on deliveroo- was the first and last time! I ordered two LAMB jalfrezi burgers and got sent two chicken tikka burgers instead. The chicken was dry and like plastic and the flavour was basic and not tasty at all. Could have made a better tikka chicken at home. The ‘pachos’ we’re a cool idea but they just didn’t do it well. There was a really bitter yoghurt sauce on it that made it inedible. Ended up in the bin. The masala chips were stale and also went in the bin. SO disappointing.

Burgers are becoming boring and repetitive these days with pop ups everywhere. These guys brought east to west and took the burger game next level! I went for the Masala fries with the double lamb one (forgot the name) and I tell you it hit the spot! Spice, flavour, juicy lamb patties, the perfect combo for a hungry delivery driver after work! I'm always up for taking a change on something new and you guys got it right. 👍🏾

No one answers the phone, shop doesn't have a landline. So the only number is a mobile number on the website, which doesn't get answered at all. Therefore you can't ask any questions about food allergy or what is included what's not. And since I can't get this information either from Deliveroo or the restaurant, I did not order any food. Food MIGHT be good and tasty and they might be busy, but if a restaurant can't answer the phone then I wouldn't risk my hard earned £40.

Food turned up stone cold via Deliveroo approximately an hour late. Had to reheat in microwave did taste well and consisted of some good flavours.

Absolutely wonderful food and service! We ordered through JustEat but had some problems with the delivery, so called the restaurant and they went above and beyond to get our order completed. We were able to change to a collection, food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! :)

Used to really enjoy this place. But ordered from UberEats recently and so many ingredients were missing from multiple dishes. Shocked how you would allow £6 pachos to be sent completely dry, basically just poppadoms. EDIT: Fair enough, mistake recognised and dealt with promptly, updated stars.

Nice tasting food but turned up stone cold via Deliveroo. Deliveroo refused the refund as “it was delivered within the specified time frame.”

I ordered crazy burger and pacho! it was really nice!!

So first time I even heard of Baba G was on a Netflix series called “Million Pound Menu.” To be honest I stumbled across them on ÜberEats. And yeah sure enough they lived up to the quality food that featured in the program. Banging lamb burger beautiful astonishing flavours and beautiful presentation. Absolutely top notch and can’t really fault it. But whilst I can’t fault the burger I will take a point off for the chips. I know peri peri chips work and I’m sure many love baba g masala seasoned chips and they where seasoned nicely but I’m not a fan. Also they where slight lost temperature. But otherwise it was a 5* take away and can’t say anything otherwise and keep up the good work.

Ordered a Paneer burger via a delivery app and specified no RAW onions. The burger comes without the onion bhaji accompaniment, and with literally no salad/sauce. Literally a bun and a piece of halloumi for a handsome price. The chips weren't even hot to add insult to injury. Would avoid like the plague for the price, particularly given all the options out there

I was always hoping to try this burger after watching millions pound menu. My high expectation let me down. Its quality and taste are above average quality burger. Does it worth me taking 30min train and try it out, probably not.

The food here is generally great. However the last time I found the price of the Naga Delhi burger had increased significantly. Their website said it was £12.50 but the sign said £14. This is a real expensive burger! No chips included. When I got stuck in, I found it was slightly too raw. I like rare, but this was just a little too raw. Maybe it was too get the burger out quickly, I'm not sure. However, I have to say the quality of the meat went the greatest. There was definitely the odd bits of grissle that took an extra chew. I'll be back, but not so often and probably not for a Naga.

Loved the chicken burger here. It was a delight to find something so desi in London. Thr concept of Onion Bajji with th chicken patty is unique and really tastes delicious. The host is awesome and you can have some exciting conversations with him.

Gotta be hands-down the best burgers I've ever had. The Naga Delhi Double burger was so juicy, and so jam packed full of flavour. I came back a few hours to try the Pachos.. but everything was disappointingly sold out. I'm shocked this place was founded by a British couple because there's so much flavour and happiness that it beats the authentic versions.

The burger was quite good, but poor service. The lady who attended me didn’t have the best attitude in my opinion. After I ordered, I sat at one of the chairs at the side waiting for my order. After about 5 minutes, I stood parallel to the joint, thinking that my order was about to be ready. For another 5-7 minutes I kept on waiting and waiting. I saw a Hamburger sitting inside the joint, but I wasn’t sure if it was mine, and the lady had already saw me standing there for a couple minutes while she was attending other customers - I didn’t ask if the burger was mine because I normally wait for someone to announce my order at least out loud or with a number. After a while she somehow found it convenient to tell me that my burger was already ready a while ago, and that she thought I had left, while in fact I was sitting right next to their place and afterwards stood in front of them for almost 15 minutes total. The lady didn’t even say anything like “sorry I didn’t see you”, but rather in an angry and bratty manner gave me my order. The cook was nice enough to offer cooking the patty again, but he and I thought it was warm enough - not to mention I was starving. Also this was my last day in London, and I’ve had only great food experiences so far, except this one, which unfortunately was my last.

The burger here was really salty, and there were no seats when we needed to eat. The poppadom chips also got very soggy very quickly. Not a fan.

Burger was okay; it took them about 20 minutes to prepare ONE burger, ended up getting buns from the neighbor since they ran out of them, didn’t even tell me! (They were totally different, normally they have seeds on them and look quite good, the one I got was plain, maybe a little upgrade to a mc Donald’s burger bun)! In the end, after waiting 20 minutes, the burger i received was cold. Just to top the experience, they were super unfriendly, didn’t apologize after I pointed it out. Since I was one of the last customers the amount of salad inside the burger was also quite limited. There are so many other great choices around, just try something else! Not worth the wait.

Best lamb burger I've ever tasted. The patties were juicy, tasty. Season with Indian spices, they also packed quiet a bit of heat. There was an onion bhaji I'm the middle which gave it a really good crispy bite. Highly highly recommended. Keep up the good work team.

When east meets west you get this delightful treat you get this delightful treat. The paneer sag burger is my favourite vegetarian burger and is probably up there as one of my top ten burgers. Really good burger and the flavours were different levels. Same feelings about the Naga Delhi burger very good flavours are not over powering they’re all working together and if you have space highly recommend the poppadoms

It is a seriously ingenious creation mixing Indian cuisine elements into a modern street food concepts, especially those burgers. A very delicious mix of spices infused into every single item on that menu. As a die hard burger fan, I HIGHLY recommend this place!! Make sure to get the masala fries and make sure to ask for that mango sauce, you simply won’t get enough!!!

Small hindu style sandwich stand inside pop brixton. The guys are nice and the dishes are very tasty, except that by Italian standards the burgers are really very spicy. I got the simplest sandwich, the Naga Delhi, and as juicy and tasty as it was, at one point I started to water and run my nose. Medium-high prices: £8.50 for a sandwich, £3.5 for chips (good)

I’ve had all sorts of burgers in my time (even Mexican and Korean style) but this is the first Indian style and it works brilliantly. My Chicken Tikka burger was fresh as hell, invoking those favourite Indian flavours and aromas but in a new and exciting way. I was skeptical of the side of chips, but they’re actually damn good quality and covered in delicious mint and chutney sauces which made them extra special.

It's a charcoal-grilled burger shop, and the main meat is lamb! It's juicy, meaty, and delicious. The burger was £6. The chips (fried potatoes) are also crunchy and delicious, so we recommend them as a side dish!

An absolute must . If you like Indian this is such a great mix of food and a perfect snack between beers.
