Just Desserts Cafe in Hastings

There is coffee everywhere now, but this is excellent and carefully made. The same care goes for their pastries, cakes, sandwiches and ice cream.

Had a good home-made soup here and have had their vegan cakes before but do want to try again but they sold out on this occasion. Interesting mushroom coffee as well that one must try. Recommended - Enjoy

You'll be spoilt for choice if you visit this Cafe. There was a hugh range of cake to choose from, everyone looked fabulous. The lady serving was very patient with me whilst I decided and changed me mind at least 6 times!!! I had a gorgeous Strawberry and Raspberry sponge, after deciding againt the Oreo Cake, Mint Aero Cake, Lemon slice etc etc............. It's a good job I don't live closer, I'd be in everyday....................... PS I believe they do sandwiches as well, I can't confirm that as I couldn't see past the cakes!!!!

I've visited Just Desserts multiple times now and get a different cake each time. The cakes are so beautiful and I always end up buying more to take home with me. The sandwiches are fantastic, the egg mayo being my favourite. Sharon is really lovely and is always happy to take pre-orders through Facebook. Would recommend anybody looking for a dessert place to go to Just Desserts. Ps. The afternoon teas are the best!

Gorgeous chunky sandwiches and fabulous looking cakes. Great lunchtime food and clean surroundings. Must visit for lunch lovely cafe.The cakes vary but they are huge slabs of dessert cakes banoffee etc...affordable.

Coffee made with love and care, and it really shows in the taste. Will come back and probably have an ice cream after ;-)

Best Banoffie pie ever!!!! Been here a few times and they never fall to make you feel welcome and serve the best cakes.

I met my friend Jean in Just Desserts as she'd been telling me about Just Desserts for ages. I had a lovely cheese and beans baked potatoe which was fabulous. How could I not have a dessert when there was so many cakes and puds looking at me. I chose a massive chocolate dessert in a see thro mug and it was yum all the way. You have got to go there. So many magical cakes and all home made. A Gem if a treat. 6 big stars 💥💥💥💥💥💥

Bought several portions of cake to take away. Very good with delicious flavours. The service was very friendly.

Love visiting Just Desserts, the afternoon teas that they do are always wonderful and they also provide sandwiches if you don't want anything sweet. The staff are very friendly and will always help you out. Definitely one of the best dessert cafés in the town.

Hubby and I fancied a quick lunch and found Just Desserts just across the road from the beach. A very lovely lady served us up most delicious and well presented full and fresh sandwiches plus crisps. This small cafe has loads of food choices and is very bright and clean. Well recommended.

Just Desserts is a lovely place to relax with amazing cakes and sandwiches. Hubby and I have been visiting since they opened and have never had a bad experience. Sharon is really welcoming and makes the most delicious cheese scones in the world!! I took my mum and very fussy nephew for sandwiches and cake. Sharon was really understanding about fussy nephew and made sure he only got things he liked. It's now their favourite place to go too!

We came by this small cafe when looking for a place to eat a light lunch. Cakes and desserts was not what we were looking for, but they also had sandwiches on the menu so we stopped for lunch. The sandwiches was very good and nicely presented with salad and some chips, and the coffee was fresh, black and hot just like we wanted it to be. We wanted to have a light lunch, but it was impossible to resist some dessert. The displayed cakes was to tempting.... The peanut and chocolate cake looked delicious, and tasted even better.... And the tropical fruit crumble was made in heaven. The service was exellent and we felt very welcome. We did'nt have a light lunch, but we did indeed have a fantastic lunch in the cosy Just Desserts Cafe. Higly recommended!

Here is a menu, which includes nice crusty bread sandwiches, filled jacket potatoes and soup of the day. Then desserts, including specialty cheese cake tasters, English trifle, cream cakes all in their own refrigerated display case. There is a selection of sliced cake such as the Victoria sponge. Several unusual flavours of scooping ice cream make the choice even harder. Hot drinks are available but I had not seen the range of cold drinks before with for example rhubarb flavour. Dotted around the walls are ideas for gifts. If ever you make a visit, you might think that the name of this seaside cafeteria does not do it justice. It is not just desserts but a little slice of heaven next to the sea.

Visited here whilst on a walk from Bexhill with my husband and dog. Loved the homemade Earl Grey tea and blackcurrant cake and the salted caramel chocolate and nut slice. Tea was in a lovely glass teapot and hot with milk in a small milk bottle. Would definitely recommend and will return when we are next down at the beach.

Visited here recently with a friend to do the chocolate afternoon tea for two. The food was amazing and there was so much chocolate including a chocolate scone with a chocolate spread. Although the afternoon tea for two looks small, it is really filling and the food tastes wonderful. I can't wait to go back again.

Lovely coffee, beautiful crisp sunny day, fresh home made cakes, delicious cheese and ham sandwich full to the brim of tasty ham and cheese. What more can I say, this is a lovely little gem on the up and coming St Leonard’s Marina

I stopped here for takeaway cakes late one afternoon, and they were so amazing I had to make a point of going back for lunch at a later date. The couple running it are very friendly and welcoming and helped us in with our toddler and pram.

A friend of mine visited here and had great things to say about it, I checked out their Facebook page and oh my, the cheese cakes and other various desserts looked mouthwatering. I popped in today to see if it was as good as it looked and I wasn't disappointed, we ordered 4 desserts and they were all fantastic! What makes this place extra special was the people who worked here, they made space for our big prams so we could sit down comfortably and were extremely accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be returning and will tell people about this little treasure.

Have just experienced a chocolate afternoon tea here and oh my it did not disappoint. The chocolate scones were out of this world, if you have a sweet tooth this is the place to go. Fantastic service would highly recommend.

Visited here today, having come across it whilst having an stroll along St Leonards promenade. Fantastic selection of cakes and ice creams to choose from and run by a very friendly couple. You can also get lunch here and hot/cold drinks. Will definitely be visiting again. It’s nice to see a business like that opening up at this end of town.

Passed here whilst on a very windy walk, staff were very friendly, all the cakes were handmade and looked amazing. I ordered a sandwich which was really tasty too. My fussy husband who is a bit of a coffee connoisseur even said how good the coffee was. Staff were very accommodating even though my husband and toddler were not on their best behaviour!

Found this great little place while walking in town looking for somewhere to eat. What a lovely place. Three of us had 3 different cakes and they were all delicious. Great place for coffee and cake at a reasonable price and friendly people running it. Great selection of ice creams to eat it or take away.
