Jurassic Grill Whiteley in Winchester

What a let down. My son loves this place, he went there for his birthday on 01/01/23. He wanted to go for his birthday again this birthday 2024, always awkward when a child's birthday is on New Year's Day. So when i booked, I was pleased to see Jurassic Grill open again, same as last year. My son had chicken pox on the lead up to Christmas, and was excited to go. On 29/12/23 I receive an email saying my reservation had successfully been cancelled. I didn't cancel it. When I called them, they said they were now closed on New Year's Day due to "unforeseen circumstances". I could book 31st dec or 2nd jan, so these "unforeseen circumstances" don't seem to matter either side of the 1st. If they weren't going to open on 1st, don't allow people to book it. Now I have an upset child, who has been left very disappointed. So, if you don't want to disappoint your child, don't book here. Don't worry Jurassic Gill, I won't try and give you money for food again.

What a brilliant idea.Our little ones loved the dinosaurs and we all enjoyed out meals which is unusual as there were 11 of us with various eating requirements. I am sure that we will visit again

Have been twice in the last two weeks with my friend and her twin girls. The waiting staff are fantastic and the manager Ash is on the ball. Wonderful restaurant, great staff, good food and all at a reasonable price. 5 Star experience. I highly recommend if you haven't been before. Oh and the girls loved the baby dinosaurs they brought to the table.

I took my family here for dinner. They really loved the theming and were so excited by it all. The whole team were really friendly and helpful, especially our server Chloe. One of the little dinosaurs was brought round and the kids loved meeting it and having their photo taken with it. The whole experience was very relaxing and the food was great. Overall, we couldn't fault it, a really lovely night - thanks everyone.

Great place to eat for family’s. Really relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming. We did not feel rushed and the staff ( served by Amanda and Tyler who really made us comfortable and took the time to interact with my 5 year old son. Ashley made sure we were happy and felt very welcomed. We will 100% be returning! Food was also brilliant and worth the cost
