The food was fine but really is pricy for a chippy. I updated to 4 stars as I was writing (feeling generous) as they do offer the "mini" portions at about £7 for cod and chips, which were a reasonable size

Quite pricey compared to surrounding chippys, but food was OK. Unfortunately can only pay cash. Friendly service.

Food is generally very nice. The fish and chips are usually not too greasy but the odd occasion it comes a bit oily. The portions are generally good too. I'd rate this chip shop 4 out of 5 overall

Chips tasted cheap ..Not sure if it was the oil or the potatoes used. Only ate a few , quite expensive aswell.

Ordered a Haddock and chips, 1st meal back from holiday. Haddock was tasteless and a pink colour. I normally have the Senior fish n chips which is normally good. Very disappointed with the haddock tonight. 😩

Food good as always. Lots of tables reserved so we sat at an empty one and ordered two carveries. On coming back to table we were told we were sat in the waiting area.,however the waitress showed us to a table upstairs so all was good.
