Jumeirah Lounge in Runnymede

First time at this lounge and it was enjoyable. Usually we’d head out to central/west London for but who wants to travel that far and pay ULEZ/Congestion Charge on top of already high prices? - occasionally, sure, but not all the time and I also don’t like being “forced to pay” those toll fees…!!! Jumeirah Lounge is conveniently located, easy to get to and parking is available. Food is actually better than what I had expected it to be to be honest - Naga mayonnaise is a nice little concoction and the smash burgers were nicely cooked. Chips were better than average; perhaps change to the crispy chips as a value add for your prices? Just a thought. The mocktails were nice, a good size but also a little on the pricier side. The team/staff were all lovely, polite and courteous, everyone was helpful - but the service was ‘slow’ and it always seemed difficult to get ‘help’ or to grab someone’s attention. Other than that, would definitely recommend. See you again soon.

Theres absolutely no reason for any food establishment to sell frozen chicken other than pure laziness. Its pathetic.

A hidden gem in the heart of Surrey. The vibes and smoke here is second to none. Staff are super friendly, always recommending the best flavours and making the perfect mocktails. LOVE that they’ve got a food menu now the food tastes AMAZING and presentation is on point! Definitely worth the drive down to this lounge if you’re coming from out of Surrey!

Place is really nice and welcoming. Staff are great and service is on point. Smoked a few times and flavour is consistent. Food is great and the milkshakes are even better. JL has definitely paid attention to the little details to make the food and Shisha great. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

A great place to go a chill and socialise. Music is just the right level to actually have a conversation with your group. No fancy gimmicks, good Shisha. Also no belly dancers 👀.

Love this place, food is really good and so is the shisha. Service is always 10/10 Best of all they don’t blast the music and you can actually talk to the people you’re with, unlike so many other places!

I hate shisha spots with overly loud music and you can't have a normal conversation let alone decent food. So glad I found @jumeirahlounge_egham who not only have quality shisha flavours but have introduced a new food menu. Of everything I loved their smashed loaded fries and their naga burger. It's a whole new menu so they'll definitely making improvements so looking forward to revisiting but for a start, this is very impressive. Had no idea Staines/Egham had such a spot so anyone who wants nice shisha and food, here we are! By the way their mocktails are great value too - only £5 and generous portions 👌

Long lasting shisha,10/10 food, mocktails and milkshakes are to die for, the vibe is immaculate and the staff are all amazing what more can you ask for from a lounge.

The is my new hangout spot with my mates, people are always friendly and their food and drinks menu is also great. Staff members are always happy to recommend their best flavours of shisha and we are never let down by it.

The best shisha I’ve had in a long time! Great selection of shisha flavours, staff are very friendly and knowledgable, top vibes with music playing all evening, hookahs are clean, fresh hose for each customer as well as mouthpieces. We had Al Fakher grape and mint, for food we had the classic burger with fries and a milkshake. Best burger around, fries were cooked well with plenty of seasoning and the milkshake was 10/10.

Went with my friend to Jumeirah Lounge for a nice chilled evening and had a fantastic time. The staff are friendly and approachable and nothing is too much for them. The shisha is yummy and the drinks are perfection. Thanks so much boys! Xxx

Service is nice, place is new and cozy, however I have been smoking shisha for almost 10 years now, even have my own pipe at home and have been to many shisha places across the uk and internationally and unfortunately the shisha flavour does not taste authentic, its bad, almost like its fake, there is hardly any flavour, just smoke and you literally cannot taste anything making it hard to smoke, i really hope it is not fake shisha flavour thats being given to customers. Its a real shame because the place itself is nice.

I have followed Jumeirah for very long time on Instagram, took me absolutely long time to get myself there when I am quite local. However, one of the best lounges to go! Highly recommend the service. Lovely guys who absolutely made my time memorable, had a great laugh. Shisha was 10/10, lychee mojito was delicious too! Absolutely go if you are in the area!

I have been to a lot of sheesha places in and around London, and for me the best one I have been to, sheesha is well made and has great smooth taste, they really look after their shishas so you proper taste the flavour. To top it off the service is the best I have experienced in a shisha cafe, staff are kind and helpful with recommendations. glad Jumeira is back !!

Visited Jumeirah with a friend, she had been here before and recommended this place but the food was absolutely horrid! The meat smelt like feet! I have never seen anything like it. Both got diarrhoea from the food, and we did not even have much of it but left the food and spoke to the chef about how gastly the food was- to my surprise he was just not having it! He honestly thought the food was good and was not budging. I’ve been to manier of places and honestly this had to be my worst experience ever!!!

The Shisha took ages to arrive, the staff made lame excuses, terrible service, cold place, food is awful. Shisha was average nothing amazing, Prefer to drive into london!

not a great experience. food below standard. prawns off and therefore overcooked (in fairness they replaced the dish very quickly with chicken...although not off, but over cooked, dry and hot like it came straight out of the microwave). They tried to charge us for a side that they never gave us. the service was average. the one good thing I take from it. is that they replaced this dish without any qualms. tummy feels a bit funny.

I visited this restaurant for the first time. The staff were very friendly and the service was second to none. Most importantly the food was outstanding! The atmosphere was lovely, will be returning next weekend for sure. Keep up the great work 😊

Something has gone very wrong here since this restaurant opened, which is a shame. Not enough staff and therefore service very slow. Food not good at all. The owners need to either staff properly or close. Fire door found locked on first visit and have heard that the council have concerns re food hygiene.

Visited the restaurant with a group of friends friday before xmas and was not impressed!The dish I ordered was nothing like I expected to get. I have never before had a tomato based Dansak. Looking round our table I noticed that although we had ordered a variety of different dishes, they all looked the same?I've been enjoying Indian food for over 30yrs, very disappointed won't be going back.

If you like frozen meat and curries made from shop bought paste then this is the place for you. Poor service from waiters who didn’t seem bothered and all rushed. This is the worst Indian I have had for a long time and all frozen and microwaved. No idea if the other reviews are real but surely this place will NOT last.

Went to eat at the restaurant for dinner, there was some nice Indian music in the background which gave it a more authentic feel. The staff were extremely helpful in finding new dishes I could taste. The food was excellent too and arrived on a hot dinner plate & hot metal plate to keep it hotter for longer :) The boss was working with the staff as well which made a nice touch, he was really friendly and entertaining. Would come again (Y)

We visited the Haweli in Egham for the first time and were blown away by how much the place has changed. It has a nice feel to it, the service was professional and the food outstanding. I knew the food was good as we had a couple of deliveries from them previously but of course Indian food is so much nicer when it's consumed on the premises. We went there early and were the only people in the restaurant but that soon changed and the place filled up quickly. We shall certainly be going back soon to sample some more dishes form their extensive menu.

Went there early on a Saturday evening, it seemed to get busy a little later on. Went there as I saw it had only recently opened, the previous curry house in Egham was shut down! service was very good and the food was fabulous. I had a chicken tikka masala and the sauce was the best I have had. My husband had chicken madras and seemed happy with his meal as well. The staff were attentive and the tables were well spaced apart. I will definitely return as it is local to me and serves tasty food. Our bill came to £40 but we did have 3 beers as well as poppadoms, two main courses, rice and vegetable curry.

We've dined here on two occasions and were all very impressed with the food and the attitude of the staff, very friendly and helpful. I dont hesitate to highly recommend this restaurant and would readily visit again.

Excellent food ant excellent service, they (Haweli) recently took this over and have totally overhauled the place.

We came for dinner a few days after the new opening. Food was lovely, staff could not so enough to accommodate us. Even the owner was waiting tables which was a lovely touch.

I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant out, so that's done - first and last time. The menu is limited but the food ok, with excellent starters. The service was very poor however. Although quiet, the waiter was either too fast to serve and bring out the bill, or absent when needed for other things. Air conditioning was overly working. No change could be found for our cash payment of the bill, and I was eventually short-changed in a huge pile of 10 and 20 pence pieces. Try it before it closes - this restaurant will not last!

I've been to this place twice....once for the food which was more than enough.

The food is average and the portions are reasonable. The staff is very warm and welcoming. If you are traveling from Middle East, this is the place to go if you are missing your Arabic cuisine. They need to add more variety. great place to go with friends also but in good weather as the air conditioning is not good.

We were looking forward to our first meal to the recently opened Jumeirah Lounge. There were nine of us to celebrate three birthdays and one of our party had visited the restaurant several times before and raved about it.

Highly recommended,our 3rd visit in four months,lovely well cooked food and friendly staff !! Bring your own bottles as well. Due to start doing Indian food as well as their current menu in mid July👍

I have visited The Jumeirah Lounge twice in the last week and both times it has been fantastic. The shish kebabs are lovely and the halloumi cheese is fab. Staff are very friendly and the place has a nice feel and atmosphere to it. The area out the back with the shisha's is a real gem, nice and relaxed. Will definitely be back soon.

My husband and I wanted to treat my cousin to a nice meal. We recently moved to the area and after coming across this place we thought we'd give it a go as the menu looked appealing and we love shisha! As we entered we were welcomed very nicely. The decor and layout was beautiful. We decided that we would eat in the restaurant area then move to the back for some shisha. We ordered quite a lot of food. The 'piri piri' prawns and calamari, hummus, 3 shawarmas, steak(was not asked how i wanted it. Had to tell the waiter before he walked into the kitchen that I wanted it to be cooked medium)garlic mash, chicken shish and some virgin strawberry mojitos. It all came with 3 portions of fries. Firstly, the only thing you could taste in the hummus was garlic. I'm a big fan of hummus and that was shocking. Second came the prawns and calamari which were basically overcooked, rubbery and in a bowl of oil. No flavour. Very poor. At this point we were dreading the rest of the food. Then came the steak. It was cooked medium on the ends and was very rare in the middle. My garlic mash came a little while after in a tiny bowl and the top layer was hard and oily. We asked the waiter to take it away and even he looked at it and turned his nose up.He apologised and kindly replaced the mash for some rice. The shawarmas were just about edible. Not seasoned as well as shawarmas usually are even though we asked for spicy but was cooked okay and we were starving! We asked for spicy chips which to our disappointment were basically a portion of chips with some chilli powder sprinkled on top only to cover the 3/4 chips on top of the pile. The chicken shish was hard and a few pieces were charcoaled and inedible. I will however say that the strawberry mojitos were lovely :). We were so disappointed with our experience in the restaurant that we decided to go for shisha elsewhere. We explained our experience to the manager and the only thing he took off the bill was the steak! Such a shame as the location and layout were so nice.

Visited on a Sunday evening. Clean well presented restaurant. Comfortable seating. The food was excellent. We had a mixed grill for two. Everything was very fresh, a large portion, well cooked, well presented and very tasty. We were extremely well looked after by the manager Babla, total quality service by him and his team. No alcohol on the menu but you can bring your own for a small corkage. Pound for pound I know of nowhere near here that could beat this. Well worth a try, I would totally recommend and will definitely be back.

I must say, I been to plenty of shisha places but the customer service is great, very welcoming. They come and have chat and have a laugh. I had the paprika chicken burger with spicy chip, was lush!!! Drinks are lovely. Great place to come with friends to have a good night. I would defiantly recommend this place.

Our first visit to this fairly new restaurant to Egham and certainly not the last. My husband and I had a wonderful meal here this evening. We were seated by our friendly waiter and 3 dips were brought out along with 2 small warm soft garlic rolls. I've never quite eaten bread like it, it was wonderfully soft and very moreish. We ordered soft drinks and the Mixed Grill Platter for two. This consisted of 2 pieces of steak, half a chicken, 2 lamb chops, 2 large King Prawns and accompanied by chips, couscous salad, grilled veg, rice and a halloumi and grilled veg kebab. The halloumi wasn't great I have to say...small cubes that perhaps were overlooked by time the veg was done...but that's a very small quibble. The rest was beautifully cooked. The meat, chicken and prawns all had their own seasoning so all tasted different. The salad and roasted veg was imaginative and fresh. The chips were probably the nicest ones I've tasted for years.
