Lovely cafe. The food is delicious. Lovely cream teas, ice cream, breakfast, cheese on toast. Clean and great attentive and friendly people running the place.

Great tasting hot chocolate and coffee.

Good seating in and outside and a nice atmosphere right next to the sea. The Full English breakfast was nice and it was a good sized portion. The sausages were good ( not the cheapest ones you usually get at cafes) and the bacon was tasty! The beans were served in their own little dish which I really appreciate. Went back the next day for lunch and had fish, chips and mushy peas. A bit like Morrisons style to be honest but not a complaint. Nice enough. the lattes were really nice and our dog enjoyed his dog cupcake . will definitely visit again when we return to lovely Minehead.

Went into the cafe for a coffee. and was shouted at by the person behind the bar 'what are you doing here'. said we would like coffee - she shouted back cant you see we are closed, I replied the door was open and was told that does not mean we are open?

We live relatively local to Minehead and pop there often as our go to beach walk and shopping, We have been in this cafe for breakfast a few times, but mostly out of season when it’s mUch quieter in town, Find a table, order at the counter and wait for food to be delivered, staff have always been friendly haven’t waited long for food, but that could be because we go out of season, always sit inside as seagulls are a pain in the veranda. Food delicious though on the pricey side for what you get compared to other establishments, but it arrives hot and fresh and we would go here again.

Not been here for a while but still friendly staff with a lovely attitude and food excellent (I had the Full English) plus reasonably priced - Very dog friendly also with a little Doggie Menu (we bought a Doggie Sausage for ours which she loved).

I have been to this place before but not for a while so was pleased to find the same friendly attitude from staff as we have found before. Ditto the food (which is also reasonably priced), I had a full English and my wife had a Jacket Potato with Chilli-Con-Carne and we both thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The Café is also Dog Friendly which is a big plus and our dog had some biscuits (provided free on the counter) and a Doggie Sausage (off the Dog Menu!) which she also enjoyed. Regarding comments below I actually prefer Chips and am not a Black Pudding or Mushroom fan so I prefer the approach but perhaps an option which people could choose? As regards comments on Coffee my wife had one and didn't seem to have any complaints and she does enjoy a good coffee when out for a walk so I can only observe it must have been good - I had a tea which was also well above the standard of some other places I've been to. Can't comment on the Crazy Golf as never tried it but a Café I would well recommend a visit to if in Minehead and the amount of traffic it had on a cold, windy but dry Thursday in January lays claim to it's popularity - We were lucky to get a table on the day we visited as no sooner had we sat down then lots more people came in. Only disappointment on our part was we missed out on their delicious Scones (which again we have had before) when we went back later as we hadn't realised it closes early (presumably for Winter).

Kudo's for being the only establishment open on a wet miserable August Bank Holiday Saturday for breakfast before the first train departure on The West Somerset Railway, opposite. The breakfast was ok, but not worth the price, sausages were overdone, toast as always under done, why is the bread merely introduced to the flame, and comes to the table, worm bread? if you're advertising toast, please toast it. The rest was ok, still don't see the point of beans in a separate dish, just means more washing up! Why the need for chips with a breakfast is another that baffles the hell out of me, black pudding and mushrooms would be a better option. Service was good, prompt, and friendly. Would I dine here again? probably not.

Very good cod and chips, good light crispy batter, moist flaky fish, nice crispy chips, washed down with a cup of builders tea, very happy satisfied customer

The staff were wonderful and might I might just have found the best hot chocolate ever! Me and my mate had breakfast it was delicious. The very kind lady in kitchen was very funny and nice to talk to. Very dog friendly too.

We got of the steam train at the station, walked a short way to this cafe, and got lucky. Excellent food. Excellent friendly service. Reasonable prices. Indoor and outdoor seating. There are loos adjacent to the krazy golf area. A good experience. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, super speedy service, we had fish and chips was so fresh and delicious. Very nice clean space and crazy golf looked great! Staff were really lovely and couldn't believe how fast they served us and such fresh food also. Really recommend

A great cafe, friendly staff, food very good and reasonably priced. Will be going back for lunch later in the week 😋. Visited again this year 15/9/24 . Not disappointed, still very good quality food, pleasant scenery, and very friendly staff. You will have to go a long way to find a better tea room that's if you could find one.

I had an amazing time playing golf with my friends and the service was great, Overall it was a lovely experience in a very nice cafe.

Paid £69 for 2 adults breakfasts 2 kids breakfast and a cheese toastie with 1 drink each. When I asked for scrambled eggs on 2 of the breakfast was told only did fried egg which came out hard on each breakfast for the price you should get a choice. We were so hungry by this point I really could be bothered to send them back. None were eaten. Toilets were not great and the ladies didn't have any toilet roll in at 10am.

Fish and chips here are absolutely awful 🤮 So bad that my husband couldn’t eat it. £43 for 2 fish and chips and a child’s meal, 2 bottles of water and a j20. Fish was small and tasteless, chips were frozen type, very very greasy. Really not good for the extortionate price! Service not particular fast either. 3 stars for atmosphere as it’s next to the beach.

We went today after booking for crazy golf and lunch for 8 of us for my sons birthday. The staff are so helpful and so friendly. We couldn’t have asked for any more help. The crazy golf is a great price and loads of fun. Food was also good! Highly recommend a very welcoming wonderful place for lunch and crazy golf. Thank you everyone!!

Good coastal fronted cafe on the seafront at Minehead. Friendly service and plenty of options. Ice cream is good value at £3. All day breakfast was OK but maybe a cup of tea in the price as well as some hash browns? Breakfast bap was very good with a whopper of an egg. Has a crazy golf area too.

Had a lovely sausage bap and chips here. Food was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent service, excellent and varied menu, excellent breakfast and coffee. I was part of a hen party which had just completed the Minehead park run. We needed somewhere to get something to eat and drink promptly. The staff in the cafe couldn't do enough to accommodate our 17 person party. Everyone was complimentary about the food and prompt service. Very well done!

Really good lunch. Place was busy but efficient, quick / service waiting time for fresh food. Friendly chatty and smiley staff. Clean and tidy We opted for the cheese burger, tasty burger and bun with good sized fresh salad and coleslaw, crisp chips without a drop of grease to be seen. Cod and chips was good sized portion for the price and again not at all oily or greasy. Well made latte coffee and all reasonably priced for what’s received. The only downside is it’s too far away from us to be our local cheeky lunch spot.

This is a dog friendly cafe and both the wife and Cassie our collie X love it, a good cup of tea and a piece of cake plus a couple of pieces of bacon for the dog and we are all happy, after which we walk back through the town and heasd for the car, a good mid week day out, we keep away at weekends, too crouded.

Great experience here, really good value for money, mini golf is good fun and the cafe was lovely. Would definitely recommend 🙂

Bought Our disability group for cream tea. Wonderful service and the cream teas are to die for. A must visit when you come to the sea. Lovely acceasible toilets, nice and clean. A great time was had by all. 💕

Had afternoon tea at this very beach style cafe. It’s on the promenade but not a great sea view. But the other side is sunny and looks over the crazy golf for additional entertainment. Food is classic English beach cafe and our tea and cakes were served quickly. Everything was good and tasty and the single scone large enough. Cream was good too. Not the cheapest option in town but quality and location are worth it

Very lovely cup of tea. Bacon wasn’t cooked crispy despite being requested and that being noted by the server. My sister also experienced rudeness from that same server as she placed the order and instead of being asked to wait a minute nicely she was told to wait quite rudely and then received no apology. We’ve never had any issues going in here before and we’d been in two days before this however yesterday’s service and food really let us down. It is also important to note that the toastie being nearly £8 was definitely not value for money

Great place! They were packed out and hectic on Easter Saturday but served with a smile and a joke, and the hot chocolate was lovely!! Saw some people eating a full English, wow it looked good.

A few days ago, I stumbled upon the Beach Cafe. At first, I was sceptical; beach coffee spots weren't exactly my usual go-to. But curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to try it. And let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! Walking in, I immediately sensed that this place was more than just a typical cafe. It exuded a cosy, family-run vibe. From the friendly smiles to the genuine hospitality, it was clear that they were passionate about providing top-notch service. What struck me most was their commitment to inclusivity. Unlike many places that prioritize youth, the Beach Cafe proudly employed older individuals as well, giving them a sense of purpose and belonging. This added an extra layer of warmth to the atmosphere and made the experience all the more meaningful. But this place's uniqueness didn't stop there. Imagine my delight when I discovered that after indulging in a delicious snack, I could burn off some calories by playing mini-golf! It was the perfect blend of relaxation and recreation, making a visit memorable.

Lovely cafe & dog friendly, the staff where friendly and very accommodating, the food & drink was very good and fresh, enjoyed my visit and can highly recommend on my visit.

We came by chance to this café as the other café we planned to go to had closed. We are so glad we did. Good disabled access which we needed , dogs allowed, service was very good, even though they were very busy at the time. Prices very reasonable, food was beautiful. My friend had chips, ham, eggs and peas. Ice cream for dessert. I had jacket potato with tuna mayo, salad garnish and coleslaw. My friend said the ham was some of the best she tasted. Can well recommend their toffee sponge! Whilst my friend was there she forgot her disability, everything had been thought about to make her time in the café enjoyable . Can recommend whole heartedly this café for other disabled people. Service was quick and friendly. When we return to Minehead will definitely return!

Played some Crazy golf and then had a spot of lunch. Great food - especially the cream tea - and friendly service and atmosphere.

What an amazing café! I was part of a group that ventured to Minehead for the '80s Weekender' event at Butlin's and when venturing out, in the morning, for something to 'pick us up' we found this place. The place was beautiful, the food was outstanding, and the staff were all so lovely. Next time I'm in Minehead, I know where I'm going for that Breakfast Bap. Keep up the good work. x

Called in for a snack and drink after watching the park run. Everything clean and tidy and the staff very welcoming. Our sausage sandwich was possibly not as tasty as we would have liked but it still hit the spot. Could have done without the extra expense of having to pay to park but that is more to do with the money grabbing council than the cafe. Would have no hesitation to recommend or return.

Nice cafe with real dairy ice cream, a bit of a wait at the counter but we’ll worth it for the ice cream which were delicious. Plenty of seating on a raised deck above the mini golf course which you can get admission to from the cafe. Worth a visit if In Minehead.

Fantastic food. I had Tuna mayo sandwich and an ice cream and my dog had a doggy ice cream. It was so delicious we went back the next day when I also had a delightful fruit scone. I would highly recommend and so would Toora my dog. The staff are brilliant too so friendly and helpful

This is one of the best examples of a cafe. Real home cooked food prepared with care and love, delicious cakes and coffee and a lovely locacation with very pleasant indoor and outdoor space.

Myself and my friend Had a large breakfast with toast and tea after a long wait it arrived the breakfast was hot but was minus the toast when I got up and asked they brought it over but was stone cold not what I would expect when a breakfast is hot

What a wonderful little cafe!!!! We stopped by for breakfast and a game of crazy golf. Sausage bap was delish and latte was absolutely incredible. Best coffee ever! Really wanted to try cream tea as the scones looked incredible (& the cakes too!!) but didn’t have enough room, would definitely try next time. Lovely friendly ladies who made us very welcome. Crazy golf was awesome!

Came in for a cream tea fantastic service even though they were just closing. Our Grandson said it was the best cream tea he had ever tasted.

the food tasted okay however it was extremely greasy/oily (especially the mushrooms). the breakfast cost around £10 and was not worth that in my opinion. toilets were pretty gross as well. i cannot comment on the golf as i did not participate in that.

Found this delightful cafe last year . Was not disappointed on todays return . Despite being a party of 6 all having different mains , drinks etc plus extra side orders . Food was piping hot and absolutely delicious , food quality exceptional . Scones looked amazing will be trying them on the next visit . Best cream tea out there . And I can tell you I've had a few!! Very prompt service.

This isn't a good place to go if you want a quick cup of tea. In the end after waiting my patience broke. The queue took some time, fair enough they were busy but it did try my patience. I had paid the £5 for a pot of tea for two but the wait was simply too long. The idea of pouring boiling water into a tea pot and handing this to me on a tray was far too much for these people. Little did I know that I would join a second even longer queue and one with no certain end point in site. This was the queue for making drinks, once one had ordered and paid. There did not need to be a queue at all, pour the water into the tea pot and hand to the hot and bothered customer who had already waited in the first queue. I appreciate the lady making the drinks was under some pressure, but after the fourth or five lot of slowly made lattes, we were still no nearer to getting our pot of tea, which after a hot car journey we were desperate for. Again why not just put the boiling water into the tea pot and hand to the customer...oh no far too simple. It was very annoying and, of course, £5 down but how long would I have waited for the tea.... I am sure they are lovely in other ways but if you want a cup of tea, boy you are likely to suffer a long wait. We went to the Hair Dog and they served us immediately, no drama. What a relief.

Visited Monday 19th June. We had two jacket potatoes and they were excellant. I blended in very well as I had a navy and white striped t shirt on the same as the staff members! Would recommend and will be vsiting again on our next visit.

Didn't eat but loads of people were. Coffees and slush puppies. Great place for views. Really friendly staff. Lovely outside seating overlooking beach. Been twice now.

I ate fish 🐟 and chips, it was ok, but neither a very large portion nor particularly tasty. I actually wanted to drink a 🍺 beer with it, but there isn't actually a single British brand there. Then there was a cider, which is from Somerset after all.

Never been to Minehead before, pulled up on the motorbike, parked right outside the cafe, got a table straight away and brunch was ordered and served to the table within 10 mins, ate outside, food was hot and good quality. Establishment was clean and tidy, one minor overlook was missing toast but we had enough to go around the table.

Great location on the seafront selling good quality seaside food. Be warned, the seagulls are vicious and not afraid to swoop down to the table and steal your food.

It was a nice place, nice staff and very clean. The fish finger sandwich was nice but for £9 for a sandwich you should get more than 2 fish fingers in it.

We went to the jubilee cafe and crazy golf to get a coffee, Me and my wife decided to have a cream tea each, They were quite busy at the time we visited, The cream tea we had was nice, service was a bit haphazard though, one scone with jam and cream was brought out, no knife, After wife went back in after a while of waiting for the rest of our order to be brought out, 3 coffees were brought out, but there was just me and wifey, then a while later the final scone with cream and jam was brought out with a knife this time, It's understandable why this happened, at busy times things can be delayed or a tiny mistake can happen, But this didn't take away anything from enjoying a nice coffee and a tasty scone with jam and cream, We would definitely visit again, They do have toilets there, a single ladies toilet, a single gents toilet, and a disabled toilet, these toilets are for customers of the Jubilee Cafe and crazy golf only, Some people put the cream then jam on the scone, other people put the jam then the cream on the scone, it's personal choice, There's no right or wrong way to do it, I decided to be different, (see photos)

After walking the dogs on a wet morning it was lovely for us to be made to feel so welcome. Delicious sausage bap and coffee in a warm and charming cafe. The dogs were more than welcome and enjoyed a biscuit or two!
