Bad service, rude staff i ordered 40 minutes ago food hasn’t came.

Lovely Staff our kid was sleeping and they went out of their way to clear a table where we can fit our pram. Really nice to see some good folks in there.

I came in a bit close to closing time and the customer service was amazing.I understand that the staff have been working all day and just wanted to go home but Jayden provided excellent service at the valley park branch and deffo needs a promotion!!!

Food excellent, atmosphere good got very busy quickly after we sat down be prepared to wait in busy times...

Really bad service from the start. The person who took the order didn’t listen to my request of chicken well-done & wrong pieces of chicken. After this I had to wait another 25 mins. To get home and realise my chips were burnt, half of my son’s Nandino order was missing, no drink or extra side of Broccoli nor my side of coleslaw. This is after the manager checked. The service has really gone down. Understaffed and staff rushed off their feet. Not visiting this branch again. Spoke to Tonka, who was nice on the phone, who will be sending a voucher via email. Thanks, as my family we’re really disappointed with the quality of food. 👎

The food was amazing as usual but I really wanted to leave a review for 2 staff members. Gary and Jayden was truly just amazing. The best customer service ever, extremely friendly. Nandos Croydon Valley Park this is a clear sign they need raises & promotions!

Don't know what the hell they have done to this place. It's so small with such limited space. The atmosphere is draining and the staff service is poor. Had to wait 35 minutes for a table. Food arrived after almost 40 mins. Worst nandos iv ever had.

We visited on a Saturday and it was busy (an hour wait for table of two). So we decided to order online for pick up, we were then greeted by Danielle who ensured we had cutlery and all the sauces to go with our meal. She was absolutely lovely and gave us a positive experience. Unfortunately a few ingredients were forgotten in our fino pita, which is why we couldn’t give 5 stars for the food. Other than the small mistake, we enjoyed our meal and overall service. We will visit again!

We just popped in for a very quick and unplanned lunchtime snack. It was OK and no more, or less, than we expected for what is essentially a fast food restaurant. I wouldn't hurry back there though.

Never had any problems with this branch… always good chicken and good service … been coming here since it first opened!!

This was my first time at this nandos as I was visiting my friend and we decided to order a takeaway. It was extremely busy and full inside. The front desk was welcoming and patiently, he took our order and the que moved quickly. Danuka - her customer service was impeccable. For nandos, I would say more like a 5* restaurant level of service and thoughtfulness. She is clearly very hardworking and takes customer service very seriously. Lovely person! Gary - I requested something while he had his hands full, yet, he went out of his way to find it! Again, it was busy and not many staff available, yet he showed that same customer service. You can tell that it was genuine kindness. And I appreciate that, which is why I wrote this review. Sometimes people deserve a shout out for the little things. Its the principles and the kind actions that sometimes get overlooked. Thanks so much guys, you are wonderful ✨️

Ordered our food and collected it. Suffered very bad food poisoning from my meal. Got in contact with customer service who have been extremely poor with their responses denying that it was caused from our meal from them. Offered me a £20 gift card as a gesture of goodwill to go back to them which I have declined as I will never be eating there again after being so ill. Avoid them at all cost.

Pleasant visit here on a Sunday afternoon. Had only a small wait to be seated (did not reserve). Service was quick and staff were very friendly. Order through your phone (scan table's QR code) or order at the counter. The boneless sharing platter was tasty although I feel they don't give you a lot of chicken for the price paid. Particularly enjoyed the side of spiced grains & butternut squash. You need to collect plates, cutlery, napkins and sauces from the drinks station where there's also a sink to wash your hands.

This place is just brilliant. Halal food, large space for seats.Here u ordered sunrise burger and 5 chicken wings. The frozen yogurt is tasty and you can get free refills. It was very busy at the time as it was a weekend. If you are eating out in Croydon or specially in Purley way, I would definitely recommend.

This is was our second experience dinning at this particular Nandos, our first experience was lovely thus we hoped to receive a similar or even better experience alas not all dreams come true rather some are a complete nightmare. To begin my wife and I were asked to wait in the waiting area which we were more than happy to comply, this would be the only good highlight of this awful experience we had to experience. We made our orders the starters were a bit mediocre, furthermore the sweet potato wedges some of them were a bit burnt. I was offered a cup without a straw without a straw, furthermore the waiting period for mains was extraordinary long for no particular reason. Even though the matter became clear to us which is none other than clear racism, since it doesn't make any sense to me customers who came after us who made their orders after us yet their food arrived first that isn't a mere consequence rather it is clear you only carter to particular demographic of people.

Right now I’m in emergency room as my baby got severe allergy reaction and her whole face was swollen and couldn’t breath properly. IF YOU CANT DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY MAYBE GET SOME TRAINING OR CHANGE THE JOB. SEVERE ALLERGIES ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS FOR KIDS!!!! The staff here made me very welcome and did everything right. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I think the staff at this branch of Nando’s are motivated and do a sterling job!

The overall experience in this particular Nandos was absolutely superb, they serve wonderful Halal chicken which is simply grilled to perfection. In terms of the atmosphere it had its own unique ambience which I really liked, the only downside to the evening was it gets a bit crowded thus it got a bit noisy.

Great food and pretty fast service but they’re always very rushed off their feet and there is always a long wait time to get a table.

Went here with my mum who was in a wheelchair thought it would have been a been chaotic getting her to a table but from point of entry and end of service Mo and the young man at the door was absolutely great with the assistance and care taken whilst we were there. Had a lovley afternoon and the food was on point.

Gabriella behind the counter was by far the best customer I have recieved in a long time. I believe she deserves a bonus! Especially with the positive attitude with our confusing order, the polite manner is speaking, along with being informative but very welcoming and rapid service.

We came when it was really busy and waited around 15 mins via the queue buster. We waited near the area and waiting time was not that long. The guy at the front door showed us to our table- did not tell us we could order from our table or greeted us (very very bad customer service skills) We ordered and the cashier would not accept my blue light card but accepted my NHS card for discount. Food arrived quick. Store ran out of ice on the most hottest day of the month. No takeaway pots for my sauce of chilli jam. Nobody came to our table throughout the course asking if our food was ok. The only benefit to visiting this Nando’s was that it was halal.

It was quiet busy at the time, but we got a table quick. Food was best of all our visits at different Nandos! Team looked like they are well organised and everyone knew what they are doing. We would definitely come back if we will be around!

Stupid waiting system please allow pre-booking. Security staff, can act like bullies sometimes and treat people with disrespect just because they’re waiting for the slow seating service. Once you’ve being seated, the service is slow and the food is really small portions, compared to other Nando’s.

Ridiculous waiting time but understanding based on location

The member of staff at the front door seemed to lack interpersonal/customer service skills, and her tone came across as quite abrupt and non-caring. Other than that, the food was good, and the service was quick, even with a full house.

Food was good although half the menu was out of stock. Customer experience overall quite good however one extremely unpleasant and hostile waitress who was very passive aggressive for no reason.

I came here on the Tuesday that just passed, and just wanted to say I was looked after very well by Jayden C. He took care of me and my family and I would 100% come back just for him!

Jayden and the team were amazing and so helpful. Food was served timely and was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, especially as we had a wheelchair user with us.

It is located in a luxury place but will not feel comfort inside the resturant, the seats and disks needs deep washing. The reception attitude is rude, it is noisy environment.

We visited Nandos Valley Park earlier today. Requested a table for 14 people (last minute lunch after a game of bowling). We had difficulties joining the 'electronic line' but the gentleman on the door was very accommodating and helped us with it. Nandos messaged once our table was available! To keep it simple: -Staff was slow and lazy -Tables were not clean-Chairs had sticky food still on them-Plates were not cleared - made to pile up on our table only to be cleared at the end.-Staff at the seafood counter very condescending and snobbish - we payed for all you can eat but made to feel like the low quality utterly not fresh salmon sashimi was coming out of their own pay check.- Food was not replenished fast enough, e.g. fried prawns-Low quality food to name a few : shredded duck was a mix of different types of meat - no hoisin sauce on stand either. Bbq pork bland and very watery, sweet and sour chicken - more like battered bread chicken with sweet & sour sauce.- slushy machine never in operation- they start closing and cleaning at 9pm*their open till 11pm BTW!*- Staff starts making their own plate of food at around 9:30pm while customers are still eating...- £19.99 for this buffet is a joke it should be maximum £9.99Standard food at high price for no reason at all you literally cannot justify what they charge.

We were looking forward to going to this restaurant & we had booked, on arrival we were too early for our booking (7 Minutes) & told to stand to one side until our booked time, then groups of people that hadn't booked were let in before us. We eventually got in & was shown to a table, being my 1st time here I thought I would wander round & get my bearings, I was disappointed at how many empty dishes were on the serving tables, also on the website it states that they serve 12 different cuisines, I could not find at least 5 of them, no Lebanese, no Greek, no Mexican, no Spanish, no French, it just seemed to be mainly Asian food, I had some starters then settled on Indian only to find that all the food was cold, I had a lamb curry that was very chewy & more bone than meat!! I certainly won't be rushing back to this restaurant again.

This is a lovely venue with so many things to choose from. The dessert counter guy is so nice, he always delivers with my banana requests. Food is delicious and atmosphere is very pleasant.

Food was replenished often but it wasn’t of a high standard. Some of the food was cold, chewy and it definitely looked better than what it tasted. Shredded duck was awful, I would stay clear of it if I were you. When we left we talked for a few minutes outside the restaurant and then got into our cars. I then noticed I didn’t have my phone and went back inside. I was escorted to the table we ate at and one of the waiters informed me and who I thought was the manager, of the name of the person who cleared the table. They checked the safes and told me they didn’t have it. I explained I had just left and definitely left it on the table and they said they would contact me if they found it. When I asked if they had asked the lady who cleared the table if she had seen it, they informed me she had already left. I asked if they could view the cctv and they said there was no manager on site to access the cctv. I went to my family and used find my iPhone. This showed my phone was in the building so we all went back inside together. staff said it wasn’t there and opened the safe for my sister to look inside. We showed them find my iPhone showing the location as the restaurant and they still did not want to accept it was there. Luckily my dad started calling my phone and I heard it ringing. It had ‘apparently’ been put in the till as opposed to being put in the safe as per their policy. This all seemed a bit weird to me. They didn’t even apologise. Awful food, awful customer service and a total lack of emphathy. My money would have been better spent somewhere else!

With most of us liking different foods JRC is a great place to eat as there is a variety of foods to choose from. And even better if its your birthday because you get to eat FREE! just need to bring proof of I.D. and book a table in advance.

Great buffet dinner with food from all over the world!! The only thing that stopped me giving a five star review is the way we were treated to get a free birthday meal (Would just pay next time it will be less stressful ) the conditions are quite strict (fair enough) but the way the treated us and explained the conditions were poor. Will definitely go back for the food again.

We had a corporate day and decided to take a gamble and eat at JRC. I found the staff really helpful apart from the man who was suppose to be cooking the steak who went missing for 30 minutes and then when he did return I found him miserable and there was obviously no job satisfaction.As for the food there was something to eat for everyone but the food was very hit or miss. The sushi selection was awful and they served the most tasteless salmon I've ever experienced. The Thai and Chinese section were the best.My biggest issue was the clientele! It was very chavy and obese people everywhere. I felt sorry for the poor staff having to clean up after some of the parents thought it was hilarious for their children to thrown food on the floor and have their hands dipped in the chocolate fountain and taking photos. My verdict is if you like greasy food and fit into the chav/obese bracket then this place will be your idea of heaven but for more refined diners I would avoid like the plague.

To start the night of we were not allowed in 15 minutes early to set the table up as sked by management, we then had no glasses or cutlery when finally allowed in and had to set up in front of the birthday girl. Secondly Two staff members were swearing at each other right next the kids at the table. Thirdly the shredded duck as dry as can be the squid very fishy.fourthly the staff had no real interest in helping when asked mainly the men the women were pretty welcoming. And they tend to rush you out when your two hour slot is almost up even tho you was seated late as the table was not even ready. And £20.99 per head is way over priced £14.99 in Medway restaurant called spoons which we give a 5* out of 5* a much better selection and fresher.

Upon arrival for a large booking the staff didn’t seem to know what was going on, we had booked a table and had to wait as other guests where still eating around it. The ‘check in ‘ procedure seemed very anal and the staff didn’t welcome us instead told us to stand here and wait there.. when we did get to our table, we had to wait for the glasses to be brought over as they had forgotten them. With regards to the food it all seemed very much like Chinese food despite it apparently being from different parts of the world. The ‘Japanese’ food was empty and didn’t seem to be replenished throughout the evening (I went back on 3 separate occasions and it was still empty) there was however plenty of ‘chips, chicken, rice’ etc (the cheap food!) Unfortunately most of the ‘meat’ dishes was a case of more fat than meat. And the duck was fatty and cold! I would say at £20.99 per person you get what you pay for, bottomless drinks are included in the price so that’s good! Most of table waiting staff where very cheerful and polite. The toilets where not the cleanest but there was a cleaner so I guess it was just a busy evening. The dessert section was nice and there was a fair amount to choose from, only downside was the large cakes where you help yourself they had been smashed up and inedible, I think maybe they should of been pre sliced and put on plates. I would say don’t expect to much from this place.. but overall it’s fairly priced and if you like ‘fried food’ you’ll love it!

Takes a lot to make me sit down and write a review, especially a bad one, but I've been going to this place since it was called Cosmos. Since being called JRC It's gone down hill so much that the place is almost empty on a Friday night now. All the nice dishes they used to do are no longer there and the dishes that had scrapings in the bottom were never refilled which seems the normal throughout the evening. Most of the free drink machines were not in use either. Up till 2016 I was taking a large group of people there for a Christmas meal each year, but now it's got to the stage where I wouldn't take my worst enemies there. The sooner this place shuts down, the better. It's nothing but a huge disappointment now. I've given them a chance to improve but they just get worse each time.My advice is, save your hard earnt money and get yourself a local takeaway instead.

How can everything taste bad? One even one dish was nice? How is that even possible? The desserts weren’t bad but after all the disgusting food we ate even the dessert were nasty to eat.

Been there when it was a different name and liked it. But now not so much.The choices are reduced. And at night the ques for grill is too big, and they only have one person doing the work.But I still think it's a good value lunch, cos some drinks are included

My son and I went for our birthday treat as we share a birthday. We booked for 4 but changed to 6 online with no problem. As it was both mine and my son's birthday that day we ate free. I love the variety and the fact its all you can eat. WITH DESSERTS TOO :)

On my recent visit, I made a booking prior.....anyway got to the resturant to find the lift out of order. This seems to be a regular thing worh this place, really needs sorting asap. But I didn't give up and by the help of friends I got up to the resturant. But this shouldn't of happened. All in all food was ok had a good night in the end.

This has to be the worst food place ever. There was no taste in any of the dishes and I tried Chinese, Thai and Indian. The food seemed old and stale. When you are serving frozen cakes from Iceland and Custard Cream biscuits in a Buffett place there is surely something wrong. I would have been more satisfied had I spent the equivalent money in a fried chicken shop on my local high street. First time coming from a buffet and was felling hungry and empty. Was so tempted to ask for a refund. Believe me I wouldn't even go back if they offered me money to come back. The cutlery had dry water stains all over. The shop floor seemed sticky to walk on. I honestly don't know why it hasn't shut down. Second picture shows full plate of food that I just couldn't eat. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Fajne i ciekawe miejsce. Fajnie się wybrać i to zobaczyć. Ogólnie atmosfera i lokal ok. Wybór jedzenia ogromny, ciężko spróbować wszystkiego, a oczy by jadły. Jedzenie smaczne, dobrze przygotowane, ale dla mnie nie rewelacyjne. Nie było to coś, na co bym za często miała ochotę, bo niektóre dania smakują podobnie i jest dużo smażeniny. Ale do odwiedzenia od czasu do czasu lub w większym gronie to jak najbardziej polecam.

Since management has change the standard has gone down.went with family for lunch half of the station were open.I found the food was or Luke-warm and some food was hard.their was food around the tray, the staff near the tray was scraping it back in the tray mix with other food.There was children playing over the food and running around and nothing was done about it.it took awhile for them to clean the plates of the table. some staffs where just chatting to each other others stood watching the customers while they where eating.was not impress.Not somewhere i will come back to in a hurry.

It’s certainly the biggest “World Food” buffets I’ve ever been to in the UK with an enormous selection of food to choose from - Chinese is the most common, but there is also Indian, Japanese, Thai, Italian, and so on. If you are with a large family or group of friends I definitely recommend it as there is literally something for everyone.However, you do have to pick your day and time carefully. The staff do not hurry to top things up, which is a BIG issue when there are either too many guests, or not enough staff.We went on Sunday and there was clearly not enough staff - about 1/3 dishes were empty or had dregs left, and the other food was just ok. Last time we went Saturday on and all the food was amazing. Pot Luck!!

We ate here on Saturday for my grandsons birthday.Food not the best, some cold some lukewarm. BUT THE WORST WAS FINDING METAL IN THE BLACK BEAN.We quietly called over a member of staff and explained where this was found and the staff member wandered off. He then came back to offer a drink, My son in law does not drink so he turned this down, we were told the manager would be over.A good 20 minutes later someone comes over pushes a piece of paper in his hand, and says we could have put it in the food.I have emailed the company and enviormental health, No answer from the company yet. Guess what no going back again, will never recomend this company.

Such a waste of money and the food is cold horrible and cheap. The toilets will make you want to throw up and you can smell them from the bar.They also play Christmas music in summer and leave the decorations up so you can tell how much they look after the place.

I took three ladies to lunch to this restaurant having received glowing tributes the quality of the food. Cannot describe how disappointed we were. All the food was very cold. On complaining the waitress just agreed that it was very cold. Chef said 'just stir the noodles up the hottest are at the bottom. On the whole the staff did not understand that rice could be very dangerous at lukewarm temperatures.. Would not visit thois place again. Poor value and complete lack of respect for the standards of the company.

First time here after several years. Was somewhat worried about the negative reviews and a customer commenting on the "cold food" when leaving, however we were not disappointed. Our group ranged in ages from 9 to 77 and everyone found something that they liked, even if it meant a couple of samples first. The food was often topped up and hot at the time of serving, only turning cold after exploring the array of food. Couldn't fault communication either, prior to and on the day. We were called by Chris before arrival that the much needed lift was not working (not managed by JRC) and contacted again by Chris when it was thankfully up and running again! Despite long shifts, staff were overall very helpful and extremely patient. Would definitely return!

So much good food to choose from! You can get up as much as you want and eat as much as you want, you even get free soft drinks which is nice, the staff is friendly, the place is cleaned well the chefs look very hygienic

The food is good. Eat as much as you like. I love the big juicy prawns. Staff are polite. Can be very busy. Birthday girl or boy eats free if booked before the day.

If you can’t decide which cuisine you’d like to try tonight, head out to JRC Buffet restaurant! A beautifully decorated, all you eat as you can, multi cuisine JRc restaurant offers dozens of dishes, freshly prepared and some grilled in front of you! You can enjoy variety of cuisines ranging from English to Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Indian! for £20, I think this is a great place to sit and enjoy global cuisines! I’d suggest you make a booking during weekends and holidays as it tend to get super busy. It’s one pound cheaper if you visit Monday-Thursday. And half price kids under 150cm height. Came here yesterday with my boyfriend , my 2 nd time in the space of 3 years and I was totally petrified when I saw a member of staff dip his full hands into the cocktail sausage station and walk alway shoving them into his mouth. Makes me think if they all do that whilst on shift.

Went here with family although there was plenty of food to choose from i didn't like the fact we were on a time limit i think it was an hour and a half so you cant sit back and have a nice long chat wont go back again

Came here for a family meal for our wedding anniversary. Booked a table for 630, usually when you book a table you get seated straight away, not here. Had to queue for over 20 mins up a flight of stairs to get in. Once in food was ok, decent selection. Deserts are a poor choice, no hot offerings like waffles or pancakes, chocolate fountain not working, and there were trays of random biscuits and Mr Kipling style cakes. Won't be returning ever.

Went in with the kids after school, a little on the pricey side but there is a lot of options for mains and desserts, staff all friendly and service to get in and seated was quick.

Came here for a birthday lunch. There is plenty of foods to choose from. The food was tasty, but not piping hot, which is a shame.The sweet cart was lovely, so much choice and very tasty. You are given an hour and 45 minutes time slot, I can understand why this is, but I felt like I was time watching. Don't know if I would come back.

I have been coming here with friends & family for years. The food is usually so good, especially the Chinese & Indian buffets. My favourite always used to be the live cooking station, their scallops were amazing! Sadly they have gone for a much smaller, cheaper option. Still in the shell so cant be seasoned properly. The thing was so shrivled up & dry...don't bother! Desserts hit & miss as usual but so much of it you won't go hungry. Not sure we'll come back again though

Took the family for a birthday, something for all tastes, freshly topped up and a huge selection of dishes from around the world. Some dishes cooked to order i.e. steaks. Desserts great, kids love choc fountain ! Help yourself to soft drinks too.
