Food was fine, we ordered chicken tikka masala and naan. Service is quick and good. Downside is its really expensive as compared to the portion of food.

Good food, good service and amazing environment. Veg platter, Manchurian, soup, chicken lollipop, biryani, paneer tikka masala is must try.

Great location and easy for parking. Ambience was great and staff were friendly. Note that if you sit on the sofa side, these are well worn and you feel like you’re in a pit so tables are a little high for comfort. Found the food to be very average, grill was very good but the mains were not as expected. Was not impressed with the butter chicken. Portion sizes were pretty small and not in line with pricing. Felt like we were paying for the ambience rather than the food.

We hired the restaurant for a private function recently and were very impressed with the whole set up. Arpan Patel and his staff went over and above and could not have been more helpful. Very impressed!

We had our Diwali function today with 54 guests attending. Arpan Patel was very friendly and easy to communicate when we visited him earlier to organise the function. We had ordered vegetarian set menu. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. We wished to dance few garbas as it was a Diwali celebration and the staff accommodated us by removing some tables to give us space. Thank you Arpan and the staff for making this function a huge success for us.

I really loved the spices and flavours in the dishes in the restaurant, I had goat on the bone with a lovely deep curry - goat was perfect and the curry itself whilst hot and had good texture had a spark of sweetness, I thought the Lamb starter from the grill was overdone but my mother seemed to enjoy it, our waiter was attentive and subtle, the only thing that really gave them any points off the atmosphere was a phone that kept ringing from behind the bar - overall I would certainly give this restaurant a chance its bringing together interesting flavours and I would encourage the chefs to experiment further its a great start to finding a new fusion between the experiences that they put to show on the plates.

Heard mixed reviews about this place so went for lunch after a long time and was impressed with the food. Service was fast. Food was as per our taste- Spicy 🌶️… just like how we like it. If you are not a fan of spicy food than make sure to mention you want it mild. Would recommend this place to go for a quick meal with family / friends.

When restaurant is busy, be ready to wait for more than an hour to get your complete order. They should up the race in serving the customers better I would say. Not the first time, multiple times I have to wait . Food is good otherwise.

Food okay , had the famous butter chicken and had a funny taste to it . Chicken tasted boiled with no flavour. The shish kebabs are not proper as they was fully spicy and had colouring inside. Everything else ok . Over priced for the quality

The food got bit worse than before. The planner based curry in veg main course was feeling more like tomato puree and was too tangy.

This place is fantastic! The vibe is elegant yet relaxed, and Prateek, who might be the manager, is super helpful and friendly. The Chinese chicken, Szechuan dishes (can't remember the exact names), and fried rice were amazing, and the cocktails at the bar are spot-on. Plus, the big screen for watching football was extraordinary!

Best authentic Indian restaurant in Croydon…

Had a wonderful time with family, all the dishes were amazingly tasty, authentic Indian Chinese taste, no typical smell of fish oil or pork oil, quality of ingredients were superb especially the rice(used fine rice which is essential for my taste 😋) overall scintillating experience hence 5 stars 😍

Went for dinner with some work colleagues. The food was delicious, service was a little slow and the couch chairs were a little low, but had the tennis on a big screen.

We went with my family for a meal and we had to Waite for ages for the main course . There were other people arrived after us and they were served before us . After long time of waiting I asked one of the staff where was our food and he couldn’t care less . Felt disappointed with the service we wont comeback there again

Visited this restaurant was told all the tables was reserved for the football when i could clearly see they were empty with no reservation signs and was place in the corner by the entrance. Was not offered the food or drinks Menu during my visit. I live locally and have used this restaurant countless times for events over the past few years spending thousands of Pounds. As someone who owns and Manages an extremely successful multi million pound service related Business I find this an Extremely Poor level of service. Floor manager needs to have some training on how to treat customers with respect and at least have an understanding the Basics understanding of customer needs .

Food was fantastic. Cannot say a bad word about food quality! Service was good but we did have to ask for our drinks a few times which was strange since it wasn’t very busy at all. Would absolutely return. Food was just delicious

Summary is went in hungry and came out hungry but charged with exessive amount. I would say they should only advertise pakistani food. Not recomended.

Best Indo Chinese food! Their food is excellent, the service is fantastic, atmosphere is perfect, the staff are nice and friendly. Will recommend them for everyone. They accommodates all of us, as we went at around 2.30pm straight from Gatwick airport yesterday with last minute booking. I could see reviews mentioning overpriced, but felt good value for the quantity and quality of food and service they provided. We tried- mango lassi, spicy guava punch, another drink + Thai Pai- a must try one, schezwan chicken lollipop, some Maachi ( fish),, schezwan noodles, chicken Manchurian, lamb biriyani. Also took take away. Hakka noodles, chilly chicken, American chopsey. It was £141 including the service charge

I eat Indian food regularly back home in Wales in different restaurants and I’ve never eaten food as good as this! Absolutely delicious, extremely highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very very bad experience in this place .. horrible service and taste of food.. ordered chicken manjurian .. turned out to be salty .. told the waiter tht it’s salty and the guy in turn taught me tht it needs to be had with nan and not rice !!!! Told him to take it bk as i dnt want my family to have this much salt !! Said u can charge if u want but i refuse to eat it .. the most suprising part was him chargin it , without even an apology or accepting the fact tht the dish was indeed salty.. Second instance was when salt and pepper was asked . and the waiter gave 2 bottles of salt !!! Will not be returnin to this place ever again!!!

Amazing place to go for indian food 🥘

Went on a Sunday evening expecting it to be busy but was quite hardly anyone there which should have been the first clue to walkout. Ordered the shezuan chicken lollipops for starter, lamb karahi and Kerala fish curry with steamed rice and garlic naan for mains, our bill was £65. The lollipops were just full of colour and smothered in a chunky sauce which tasted just salty just awful. Hoped the curries would make up for that and goodness were we wrong. Lamb karahi was anything but that, tasted nothing like a karahi no spice no flavour nothing just boiled lamb with some peppers and coriander seeds. Fish curry is an insult to people of Kerala, thin fillets of fried tilapia smothered in a bunch of red onions and coconut cream sauce, no flavour no spice nothing. The garlic naan and rice were the only edible items from what we ordered which was prepare well. We were hungry and very disappointed by this restaurant. The service was delayed as well for a quiet restaurant. Definitely won’t go again and not recommend to anyone.

A couple of weeks after clearing my test and buying a car, we went to Imperial to celebrate with family and we had a pleasent evening together. Its easy to get to if you spot the right / left turns crossing through the main road and there are 2-3 rows of parking slots which felt generous. The interior resembles a proper posh hall with high ceilings and dim lights. Focus lights ensure you have plenty of light to look around even in night time. Menu seems full of oriental and north indian dishes. Tum yok paneer was nice as well as decent portion jhol momos and singapore fried rice this time. Overall both cuisines were very yummy and our son who doesnt even touch spicy food had his tummy full. The desserts are lovely to end it as well. Particularly easy on the pocket if you order oriental dishes. Thanks for a wonderful time for my family

Excellent standard for cleanliness. Over restaurant and bar. In fact I was so impressed I ordered some food. Which incidentally I wasn't going to but quickly changed my mind after the first drink. If I had to say anything the tikka masala was a bit too spicy for me but very good all the same. Very impressed. If I come back over here I will put this place down as a good restaurant and will visit again. THANKS GUYS

It was my Son's birthday and we booked it for dinner. The lady who greeted us and made sure we had booked was very rude, had some attitude and was not very welcoming. After ordering the starters we were repeatedly asked to order the Main course straight away. The drinks were served after 10 minutes of starters being served. The food had too many artificial colours and excessive oil. The food was very spicy. I would not recommend this place any more. The restaurant is not the same as it was a few years ago.

Meet took good care of us. Been going here for years for the rich and authentic Indian dishes. Also tried weekday lunch which is a great option.

Arrived at 6.15pm First ones in the restaurant. 7.50pm and still no main course....lots of sorry its coming whilst we watched wave after wave of takeaway orders going out of the door. I suggest you just order a takeaway that seems to be the priority not the customers in the restaurant. Terrible experience.

Superb food and service - will be back

We are regulars here from last 5-6 years! This is an indo Chinese restaurant and the flavours get you back to Mumbai. Nice ambience and lot of memories here…keep it going & keep feeding 😁

Food that was ordered, had mixed peppers that had gone bad and left a bad aftertaste That was the chilli chicken The kung pao was bathed in ketchup and then some soy sauce like a chicken 65 gone completely wrong with some broken bits of cashew. Chicken was coated and soggy. V little chicken This I think is because we asked for it to be mild so they hadn’t reduced the excess of sauce they would put. We couldn’t eat it The Singapore noodles had the same aftertaste that either the curry sauce they use to season it had gone bad and also the peppers When we told the waiter he said he has been working there full time for a long time and that should imply there is nothing wrong with the food. What a waste of money

This place has gone downhill over the years and its high time, it needs a food inspection We were served completely spoiled vegetables and on mentioning this to the waiter we were told he eats the same thing Like one of the previous customer mentioned the kung pao chicken was soaked in tomato sauce, in fact I suggested they could just brought the ketchup bottle and I could have added it - at least it would have been palatable The fish and chicken both tasted iffy, we felt too intimidated and were forced to pay as wanted to avoid confrontation This place needs to be closed down for serving rubbish in the guise of food.

Went there with the intent to get a few drinks before a dinner reservation elsewhere. Despite requesting the status of our drinks several times, it is only after an hour that they finally came with the intent to serve us the drinks but it was too late by then. Staff member did not apologise or offer the drinks for free. As a local business, they need to do so much better, incredibly disappointing.

We went there only for the taste of Indo-chinese, so that's what my review is based on. If you are like me whose taste buds are more accustomed to Pak-chinese cuisine then unfortunately this restaurant isn't for you. Coz the food was either too spicy, too salty and definitely too oily. Even the hot and sour soup had a big dollop of chilli oil on top of it. Schezuan Fish, chilli Chicken even poppadoms were disappointing. The only thing that wasn't too bad was Schezuan Momos. However, the restaurant itself is nice, perfect location, great ambience.

When mains were finished we were rushed for dessert or bill. ⏰ As soon as the bill was paid we were ushered off the table(politely). 🥘The majority of food was spot on. The chicken lolipop, a favourite was a bit off with half cooked masala 🍗 Original review: Unreliable 🚪. Closed for private party on Month end Saturday evening 🤦. I'm occasional visitor and seen consistence in service and food. Free parking just opposite to restaurant main door. This is NOT a curry house where you get those varities of sugared up curries instead you get well flavoured food. I recommend chicken lollipop and garlic and pepper prawns.

The restaurant needs a real update and clean. There was a musty smell in the foyer and the sofa seats were torn although the seats were comfortable. Food was okay and the service good.

Gone are the days of glory for this restaurant. Food quality and service is in the decline, but prices keep increasing. After 8 odd years, the place is thoroughly tired just like the staff.

We went to a group of 6. The food was good service did not meet our expectations. We are a regular customer of Grange Wallington. We want to try a different place this time. We chose Imperial. But the staff was too busy with their arrangement. Customer service was not there. No personal touch was there. Even though I we recommend to our friend to book it next week. Because the food was good.

I would easily put this in my top 10 Indian restaurants. The taste to spice was perfect, portions sizes just right, and great service to top it off. I will recommend it to my friends/colleagues.

The food here is incredible. Perfect balance between spicy and flavourful. 1/3 chillies reads as if it won’t be hot but it is. One of the best curries I’ve ever had and I’ve had a fair few.

Horrible oily food. We are from India here in Sutton for a short stay. Went to the place for a nice dinner. But never expected such a tasteless oily food. You can get a better dinner anywhere in India.

Celebrated my birthday here with family and friends. Umesh was excellent to plan and execute this for our guests. Kunj was so welcoming to our guests and made everyone feel comfortable and cared for . Would highly recommended Imperial for events. Excellent food and service. Sorry for late review .

I was really looking forward to this meal and booked for 14 of us. From the moment we arrived, the service was incredibly impersonal, no energy, not even a smile. Despite the restaurant being near on empty, the few workers on were clearly overwhelmed, I lost count of how many times I had to ask for basics such as water for the table and once we were finished with our starters, I grabbed everyone's plates to stack them as I was personally embarrassed. Drinks took an age to come and chasing felt awkward, it was as if ordering more was putting them out, I'm sorry to say it but everyone here has no idea how to deliver a good service, only the Chef I passed was happy and friendly. The bathrooms are not acceptable, the owners clearly need to invest some money and finally, onto the food, I'd say average at best. The food isn't made with any passion and who's ever experienced poppadoms which were clearly shop bought out of a crisp packet, it's all such a shame as I had high expectations.

Excellent restaurant for good Indo Chinese and Indian cuisine. Even couple of cocktails are wonderful. We have been very impressed on every visit. Staff is very courteous and ambience is fantastic. It also has a sports bar area with Indian style pub food.

Ate here a couple days back and ever since have felt very sick with a painful stomach, and have to attend a doctors appointment soon. The meat was clearly off and undercooked while eating, and just tasted plain disgusting. Would not recommend this place to anyone - its overpriced and disappointing.

The place looks nice but the food is absolutely disgusting atrocious ngl. Both the chinese and indian food I’ve had was probably the worst I’ve ever eaten. The average take-away chinese place around the corner is a thousand times better than this horse poo. Even the drinks tasted disgusting somehow. So overpriced for some dogs* food- don’t come here unless you love wasting your money and eating disappointing, lacklustre, and underflavoured food.

The service at this place is the worst we have experienced. We didn't feel welcomed at all and it felt as though they wanted us to finish eating and leave the place quickly. The person who took our orders(was not in uniform like other servers, maybe was one of the managers) was very rude the way he spoke. Also, one of us had a tummy bug after eating the food here. We chose this restaurant over others mainly because its open until 11 pm; if not, we have much better restaurants to go to. We won't be going here again and won't recommend it to others either.

Roomali Roti is terrible. It was hard like a khakra. And they put butter on it !!! Lacch onion is just sliced onion. A total rip off for 3.95 gbp I have rated 3 stars as the curries had good taste.

Restaurant was cold seating was not comfortable ..its not value for money and biryani was off..they dont even give you towels after meal .. and no chocolate in the end... staff were not polite ...

Excellent food and great service. The starters are outstanding, and the main courses are pretty good. Especially enjoyed the Chow Chu Cauliflower, the Chicken Tikka and the Tai Pai Prawns. I would heartily recommend a visit. We've visited a dozen times now and the food on each visit has been excellent. Our last visit was Mother's Day 2022, at which we were served a limited but great menu; and once again the food was excellent 👌.

We had Goats curry and it was delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening, hence the not so quick service, but still good and very friendly. The restaurant itself is one big room and not the brightest lighting. Still works. We will definitely come back for another meal.

Visited once as a pair and found the food excellent but service slow, put that down to it being a quiet weekday. Thought I'd go back on a Saturday with 3 adults and 1 child. After being seated, it took over 20 mins to be acknowledged, let alone offered drinks. My nephew was quite hungry; therefore it was disappointing when the starters took over 45 mins to arrive. The waiters are all over the place. When waiting for the food, one waiter came over showing us the 'thumbs up' as if to ask how our meal was only to realise we hadn't even received our mains.. only poppadoms. Even getting someones attention to settle the bill took ages. Not great service overall but the food was decent.

Rejevunated memories of India . The taste was fabulous gobi Manchurian and paneer chilly was spot on . I am gono visit again and try other variety . So far best and authentic food

I've been here many times before but last week was a terrible experience. Service was horrid, we waiting over an hour and a half for our food. Each time we asked the staff, we were met with a '5 more minutes' answer. Mangement didn't seem to care and we left without finishing our meal.

Good food, good place to eat, recommend, and may go over again, next time in Croydon. Would appreciate slightly better seating arrangements.
