Excellent visit. Great welcome and brilliant staff vibe. Tidy interior and nice menu. We had nice coffee and two toasties that were amazing and presented like an art work. Tasty food. Shop items inside looked great. Definitely a further visit needed.

Jone`s is the high point for breakfast or lunch in Market Drayton. Its family-managed ethos and menu make it the place to start if you're new to the area or just visiting.

We have had lovely lunches here previously so went with high expectations. The ciabattas are delicious & come with some salad, coleslaw & crisps. Sadly the salad bowl, as a main option, was expensive for what it was & extremely disappointing. Lettuce (Iceberg & way too much), cucumber, red pepper (way too much), celery, tomato & onion. So boring & unimaginative & a very poor option for vegans & vegetarian. I ate my husband’s crisps which helped. I love salad and eat it every day for lunch, but this defeated me when it could have been livened up quite easily - even some coleslaw would have helped.

we visited Market Drayton never been before, we wanted a bite to eat and came across jones. The tables was nicely spaced out for covid restrictions adhered too. We ordered a beetroot and goats cheese quiche, well the pastry was crisp but light just perfect and the beetroot and goats cheese was delicious with a lovely salad which was fresh and delicate and homemade coleslaw. Hubby ordered a cheese and onion toastie which he also said was first class. Just wished this place was more local to us but we will be back.

Our first visit to Market Drayton so had no idea where to stop off for lunch. Just by chance went in to this place and everything was excellent. The woman serving was ever so nice and friendly and helpful, could not have been better. The tea arrived at once and then the Panini's we had ordered shortly afterwards and were first class. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere about it. Shall visit again

Asked if we could have our drinks with the meal, drinks came and then waited 10 minutes for food by which time drinks had been drunk or would have been cold. Ordered a sandwich with out salad. Sandwich came with salad! Very poor customer service, no smiles, Not one person asked if everything was ok. Lacked detail. Cutlery wasn’t too clean either. This used to be lovely so I won’t be going again. There are plenty of other coffee shops that can have my business.

We were told about Jones’ By a cafe owner round the corner whose premises we could not access due to our wheelchair Nan. On arrival the place was very busy but two lovely ladies offered to move to the higher level and gave us their table to facilitate the wheelchair. We also had our poodle with us so a great result. We ordered two lattes, a pot of tea and a coke fro the lovely lady talking our order. Our food order consisted of a Jacket Potato, a panini, club sandwich and a prawn on brown. All au can say is we were extremely pleased and throughly enjoyed what we had. Our Nan was also offered a glass of wine which she thought wonderful! Our bill cam3 to under £40, our only regret is we don’t live nearer or this would be on our list of favourites.

Visited today for lunch with my son. Ordered paninis and cokes and were told there would be a little wait for food as busy. It wasn’t really very busy and within 10 minutes of being there, only a couple of tables remained. After 30 minutes we had to ask again for our drinks which had been forgotten - then when food arrived 5 minutes later (following us prompting the waitress), one of the paninis contained meat, when we had specifically requested it without. By this time we had been there for 45 minutes and only had 15 minutes left on car park ticket so decided to leave as we did not have another 30 minutes to wait for a replacement. The table by us also had incorrect order delivered and appeared to be waiting 10 minutes after their sandwich arrived for their soup. Don’t question quality of food but shocking service and won’t be returning

We have been coming here for over ten years and the atmosphere, staff, food and drinks have always been fantastic. It is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with background music, soft lighting and various local artists works on display and available for purchase. They do some delicious homemade soups & the best toast, as well as some very tasty toasties (with the best homemade coleslaw). They have a range of teas and coffees and my new favourite is the steamers (steamed milk with flavoured syrups). I think that this special place in Market Drayton has to one of the best in town. A selection of quality coffee and drinks. And an interesting range of lite meals. But the beat is yet to come. I have been going to Jones's over the past few years, mostly for their excellent coffee and lovely cakes. Their lunches are also fantastic. We had our works Christmas do here for 30+ people and we stayed the night. Front of house staff were lovely and welcoming, but that is all I can really say nice about our stay. Our room was like something out of the 70/80s very twee and old-fashioned. Quilt cover had a rip in it. Bath looked old, faint smell of cigarette smoke. No soap, shower gel etc in the bathroom - to help save the planet apparently - you could request some at reception. We were woken about 6am by what I assume was some kind of water cistern behind one of the bedroom walls that sounded like a plane going over head. The party. Arrival time was stated as 7pm and most (about 180) turned up about then. We were all crowded into the bar which wasn't big enough and soon warmed up to a very uncomfortable temperature. They eventually let us in at 8pm. Drinks were astronomically expensive - £7.50 for a pint £8.20 for a Baileys or a large glass of wine (£25+ by the bottle) and £7.20 for a pint of coke!!!. The main course wasn't served until after 9pm and my beef was dry and tasteless, though others who had the turkey said it wasn't bad. And my Xmas pudding was dry too. All in all not somewhere I would ever go again and certainly don't know where it gets it 4 star rating from. I did voice most of my complaints to reception before leaving.
