Went to Jones's with a group for a Christmas meal. I've lived in Market Drayton for years and have only ever been in for coffee before. What a surprise! The meal was amazing, everything was cooked beautifully and the service was great, all in all...

A hidden gem! A nice coffee shop in the day turns into a very nice restaurant in the evening. Pizzas are very good, as is the white and sparkling wine which they produce from their own vineyards.

Called in to Market Drayton for our first visit & thought we would try Jones's for breakfast. Nice ambience & friendly staff. Breakfast was of mixed quality - chef needs to learn some basics about how to cook scrambled egg & mushrooms. And why serve...

Popped in for a meal here recently as had heard good things about it. We shared a oven baked camembert for starters and I had a goats Cheese Pizza and my wife had a lasagne. Now, she knows her lasagne and she reckons this was...

We were working in the area and decided to call in to the pleasant town of Market Drayton, parking was a little difficult as one carpark was completely taken with 'Travellers' vehicles and caravans. 'Oh,the fair', not a bit of it! We were recommended Jones's by...

Enjoyed a chatty evening at Jonse's. Compact but interesting menu, some great pizza ideas, the Clive of India proved an Italian/Curry delight. We enjoyed a spread of anti pasti and some garlic buttered prawns to start. No room for puds though they looked tempting. Can't...

I have been enjoying Jones' paninis for well over 10 years. The quality has remained excellent as has the gorgeous surroundings, which are forever changing and far more personal than the standard costa experience.

We have been coming here for over ten years and the atmosphere, staff, food and drinks have always been fantastic. It is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with background music, soft lighting and various local artists works on display and available for purchase. They do some delicious homemade soups & the best toast, as well as some very tasty toasties (with the best homemade coleslaw). They have a range of teas and coffees and my new favourite is the steamers (steamed milk with flavoured syrups). My boys (5 & 8) enjoy their free babyccino & children's portions of toasties or sandwiches. A family favourite that has become a weekly tradition. Excellent.

Stopped in for a break during a business trip. Lovely coffee house. The sandwiches with Shropshire Blue cheese were delish, coffee excellent, service top notch. I liked the ambience, the art work a highlight. Small family run business, serving local produce, and well worth a stop if you're in the area

I think that this special place in Market Drayton has to one of the best in town. A selection of quality coffee and drinks. And an interesting range of lite meals. But the beat is yet to come. A comprehensive selection of wine, grapes grown in their own vineyard and produced by themselves. And very good it is too. If you happen to be in the area, Jones's should be put on your radar!

I have been going to Jones's over the past few years, mostly for their excellent coffee and lovely cakes. Their lunches are also fantastic. The interior is warmly decorated, with real wooden furniture, art for sale on the walls, and usually some sort ofmusic playing. It has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and the staff have always been friendly and the service great. I would like to try their evening menu at some point. I am not swayed by the fact that there is a newly opened 'Costa' down the road - they are everywhere.

Called in for dinner last week and really enjoyed the Italian food. I had the "Clive of India" pizza, which was really good. My girlfriend had one of the pasta dishes, which she enjoyed. We also had a lovely bottle of pinot grigio. Great food and service! Well worth a try bur worth booking in advance.

Coffee is expensive and the portion size is small, even a large Americano doesn't match a small Costa one. Service is average and you can often be left sitting without service for quite a while. However, that said, the sandwiches are fresh and tasty and so is their homemade soup.

We booked for dinner as we knew the White Lion had reopened for food with a new chef. We were not disappointed the food was delicious, we had the rib eye steak, the sea bass special and the penne vodka. All were beautifully cooked and served. The service was great and the staff were friendly. We will definitely be eating here again.

The service was friendly and the food absolutely first-rate. Can recommend the Ploughman’s which is loaded with cheese, really top notch ham, and lovely crusty bread. Would have loved to stay for cake but we were all too full.

Have been coming here for over a year and their Panang curry is the best! Portion sizes are generous for price - we always have enough leftover for a good size meal the day following. Staff is friendly too

we always try to come here when we can get in and don’t fancy cooking one ourselves. the meat selection is always good and very generous, their roast potatoes are the best - lovely and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. it is a carvery so can help yourself. they unfortunately don’t have any mash but we just add extra roasties! their gravy is lovely and homemade with the meat juices in. the staff are lovely and attentive. our favourite place to go for sunday lunch!
