Jones Coffee Co. in Worthing

Service was poor. Coffee was all milk foam and no liquid. Staff not interested and argumentative. Tea was weak. Biscuit on Brownie tasted stale.

I will rate 2 star as the coffee was nice but staff is not accomodating and was a bit rude when we are trying to find a chair for 4 of us there was no effort to help us at all. I wanted to try the cafe as it has a cozy vibes and I wanted to talk to my friends too but end up not happening at all. After ordering we sat awkwardly away from each other, I understand the situation of less chairs and table but I was just surprised how the staff seems to not care at all about our experience, dismissive to our suggestions and treated us coldly in the cafe. It would be really nice to have a positive vibes/experience when having coffee in a small cafe. Sorry but will not come back and will not recommend to friends.

A gem of a place for breakfast, or a takeaway coffee, open from early in the morning. I had coffee and a cheese toastie which was delicious, and promptly served by friendly staff. It will definitely be my go-to place for breakfast next time I am in Worthing.

Came here with my partner and had the Brie and Cranberry Sourdough toastie (with vegan cheddar)...was all drinked out to have a coffee Great service, and a lovely toastie and although a little quiet at the time had a really nice vibe

Decided to visit today after speaking with a member of staff via social media as had a few questions. Found the staff member (Ben I think) went out of their way to give a really comprehensive response to everything I asked so thank you for that! Popped in with my partner to check it out in person and so glad we did, it was well worth the visit (especially as we had just had a very poor experience at another cafe prior to coming in)! I had the vegan merry mozzarella toastie and it was really lovely, as well as the vegan carrot cake which was equally lovely! Didn't try the coffee this time as we had already had a coffee elsewhere, but I'm sure the drinks are lovely, too! Not sure of names but we were served by two very nice ladies, one with long blonde hair, the other had short blonde hair. They were both friendly, approachable and provided excellent service. Worst experience I’ve had in a while-where to start?! Interior-poor effort, tables so wobbly our drinks kept sloshing anytime one of the kids moved. I ordered a mushroom and cheese bagel-it arrived, I had to take a second look to search for the mushrooms-3 small bits… when I went to question it-I was told that’s their idea of a mushroom cheese bagel. Also got a ham and cheese croissant - when it arrived, the ham was on the side of the plate. To top it-the worst coffee - completely burnt taste, bitter and not consumable. The staff seemed lovely enough-but didn’t appear to care about my experience or offer to remake anything, blamed the owners about the tables, and generally couldn’t deal with any feedback. The owners should really make a better effort-considering what a high bar other Worthing cafes offer (I wish we’d gone to one of those!). We tried it to give a new independent a chance-regretted this decision. Will not be returning, so awful.

Jones Coffee has quickly become our favourite coffee shop in Worthing! Always keen to support small businesses :) The coffee is well priced, not charged for oat milk which is a big tick for me and babychinos are free too! Plus it’s really good coffee ☕️ The vegan food options are really impressive, love the pastries!! They always have a deal & discounts on too. Atmosphere is always super friendly and it’s just a lovely place to go whether it’s for a relaxing coffee on my own or a family outing.

The staff at Jones were so friendly and welcoming. Nice little place with excellent deals . The food was delicious . It was a lovely place to get out the cold and have a hot drink and food
