Nice cosy little cafe me and my husband found, the cafe is very clean and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back again. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch!

A cozy and friendly cafe. Drinks and cakes are delicious at a very reasonable prices. My husband and I had a relaxing and chilling afternoon there. Staff are so nice and cheerful. There’s also a free repair workshop on a Sunday afternoon of each month. Just donate as you wish. All volunteers are very helpful with passions. I do highly recommend this cafe to everyone in Sheffield.

We’ve just stumbled across John St Kitchen cafe after a trip to Go Outdoors. - it’s just tucked-away to the side and easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more! The cafe has a lovely atmosphere and the food was really tasty. My son said the pancakes were the nicest he’d ever eaten, and I enjoyed the breakfast with delicious bacon from a local farm. We’ll definitely be going back again!

Lovely cafe - a bit of a hidden gem, with indoor seating and tables outside in the quirky courtyard, events going on and other independent businesses too. Excellent coffee & some fine cakes which deserve a second visit to check out. And it’s near one of my favourite shops, Go Outdoors, as well as Ozmen’s supermarket. Definitely deserves to be better-known and better promoted.

Lovely home made food at reasonable prices. Breakfast served until 1pm. Cakes extremely fresh. Good choice of hot and cold sandwiches.

Lovely coffee as always. The staff are always lovely and helpful too! Ordered cinnamon toast and it was a very generous portion- I had enough to take home with me as I couldn't eat it all. Warm and utterly delicious Lots of activities going on too...wine tasting, jazz brunch etc. Great space for groups. Light and airy. A real find.

We only had coffee and cake but both were excellent. The raspberry and cream cheese cake was delicious. It contained lots of fruit and wasn't overly sweet. Would definitely visit again.

Proper breakfast especially made for a smaller appetite on request. Very accommodating. Generous portion of delicious panini. Yorkshire loose tea served with beautiful saucer and cup. So close to the busy London Road yet quieter than Botanical gardens. Convenient place for catch ups with friends. Can stay as long as you like. Even stock Darkwoods coffee beans you’d find in Liberty and Selfridges. Would definitely come back. Thank you for the good food and services!

We always attended Harland Cafe, when they had musicians busking on the first Friday of the month and so saw that this was returning at John Street Kitchen. Sorry, but didn't find the atmosphere the same and it was cold, had to keep our coats on! The food and coffee weren't as good and were more expensive! Had a egg mayo sandwich, which was already made up and in clingfilm -very forgettable. We were disappointed. However, the young man that brought out the food was very pleasant.
