Food was fantastic stopped there post marathon and it really hit the spot. Small menu and they do it very well. Great food.

The burgers and chips are absolutely amazing! It is a shame that it is so small. But you're getting more than what you're paying for! So good! Do not order the chicken burger, it's rubbish! Huge piece of lettuce, and a thin piece of chicken. Very bad compared to the others that are amazing!

Absolutely bangin burgers. Highly recommend eating here. Buns are nice and soft, burger is cooked to perfection and the menu isn't overwhelmingly large, they just do a handful of stuff really well. I'd go for the blue cheese burger again

Extremely disappointing experience ordering Joe's through Uber Eats last night. Have ordered many times before, been good. Made a large order, 3 x burgers, several sides to have only some of the sides arrive. Spoke to Joe's they said they had not given the driver one of the bags and that as it was their mistake, they'd resend the full order. An hour later I received a call from a very rude Uber Eats agent stating the order would not be arriving and that he would give me a partial refund. We had left the sides that had turned up as they were cold by the that point so really needed a full refund. Joe's had obviously spoken to Uber Eats and instructed them to give us a partial refund ignoring their promise to replace the order. They have just left us to deal with Uber Eat's terrible customer services who I am still fighting this for a refund morning.

Frikking lovely. I was only 2 days ago saying I don't get the burger love in general. Beef in a bun ,so what ! But THIS one has changed me...Mate bought me one last night ( cheese burger ) and I've just bought one now . Crunchy seeds in a soft bun , nice grain to the patty. Don't know what else is in the there but it tastes GOOD!

The takeaway “cheeseburgers” we bought turned out to be burger patties on dry buns, with nothing else inside them other than far too much ketchup. None of the other things listed on the menu, and definitely no cheese. Definitely one to avoid

This was great; well cooked burger, friendly informative staff and well priced. The seating is a bit of an issue but only because of the plague of pigeons. Highly recommended though well worth a visit. Was super quick too.

Had a takeout last night but because the bun collapsed i saw to my horror the meat was raw when i called the restaurant they didn’t seem to know what to do i then had to tell uber who only refunded the cost of the burgers to add insult to injury. today i have a bad stomach. please be aware

Had burger from there on Friday eve as I was having a drink next door. Was quite up for a relatively boujie burger, but this wasn't it... The patty was really overdone and dry. The chilli fries on the other hand were really anemic, also at 4.50 for fries with mozerella, you kind of expect it to be melted... Not just dry pre grated mozerella sprinkled on top. Yeah, wasnt great, particularly when there are so many other good burger places in Brighton.

The bun is soggy and just covered in sesame, no flavour in the meat, it was really small, and looked even smaller in that massive bun. way too much sauce and salad.

The burger patties are just tiny, and it took ages for the order to be fulfilled.

The bun is massive compared to the tiny burger, it's almost a joke. Didn't like the sesame bun, or the actual taste of the beef patty something was maybe burnt, as every bite was just bitter.

Just had burgers from your joint and I must admit, I was worried when we decided to come as it was our first time. I LOVE a burger so it had to be good, and you guys delivered just that! Delicious, from bun to patty to onions, tasty cheesy. Cooked to perfection. Deffo coming back. Great service.

Our first order was a cheeky birthday treat. This burger was ridiculously indulgent, with outstanding flavour and quality ingredients. Really generous portions too, which is again what you want with a burger and fries. Highly recommended!

Just received order delivered via deliveroo, 2 burgers cold ( inedible cold) and 2 chips 1 sweet potato and1 normal,not packaged correctly so was laying in the bottom of the delivery bag mixed up.. first time ordering and won't be ordering again, Shame as the reviews were good.

Popped in for my first burger from here. It's very tasty but quite pricey (over £10 for burger and chips). Unfortunately the burger was quite greasy and had no cheese in it.

I've ordered from this establishment many times and they put out very delicious burgers. They have a good range to choose from and have tasty additional toppings (I love the halloumi). I always opt for either their Dirty fries or Chilli fries, both are very good. The only gripes I'd say would be that at certain times, notably peak hours, it can be a rather hefty wait for your delivery to arrive - consequently this can mean that the food isn't always satisfactory in terms of temperature.

Ordered the blue tasty and I was blown away with the flavour. Definitely will be going again! :)

Eaten Joe’s burgers before very good but notice they have cut back. You use to get a large bag of chips when you ordered but now you get a small cup like you get in McDonald’s. I wouldn’t mine so much but when you pay £17 for two burgers and one chips it somewhat hits your wallet more

Best burgers in a long time! Tried the Palma and a blue cheese one, both amazing. Dirty fries a bit disappointing though but didn’t matter as the burger was so dam good!

We ordered a takeaway which arrived promptly, and had the added bonus of looking extremely appetising, just like the pictures on their website, which is no bad thing.Maybe this was their downfall as my expectation was now elevated to the giddy heights of burger heaven. I opted for the plain burger, again they didn’t disappoint much like their photo’s , the menu description was spot on, as the burger certainly was plain, in fact I would go as far as to say tasteless.What it didn’t describe in the menu was the texture, the added bonus of caramelised onions made for a real soggy offering!Moral of this story, our eyes sometimes run away with our taste buds.

Its fine. The burgers come very hot and with plenty of the ordered toppings. The style of burger is kinda like Burger Brothers in Brighton. However burger brothers does everything better, toppings, price, size. perfect to take down the beach as they will stay warm for a while infarct they are so hot that they wilt the lettuce to the point I would ask for it with no salad next time.

Reading some of these reviews, the bad ones I am referring to,is just unbelievable Someone going mental about a milkshake missed off an order and confusion over it, and being told lies. It was a milkshake mate, get a gripAnd then someone else moaning and Slating Joes because they ordered a burger and chips from deliveroo, a sweaty man on an old push bike that rode from Rottingdean to hove and then back to Rottingdean, yes of course the burger is going to be cold and the chips soggy. No need to try ruin a small business reputation because you’re too lazy to go and get it yourselfI went to Joes last night, served by a nice chap called Ash. Had a pint at the bar next door whilst I waited for the burger. I got the Classic a bargain at £6.95 when all other Brighton burgers are a Tenner, a two min walk home, unwrapped it and this burger I thought already looked amazing in the seeded bun. It was by far and away THE best burger I’ve eaten not just in Brighton and hove either. Amazing patti, super tasty sauce and just seriously delicious!!Put it this way, probably best to stand by the kitchen sink when you eat it because it’s so so juicy I had to wash my face after each bite. Took an absolute age just to agree to deliver a milk shake that was missed off the order we paid for. Lied over and over, including in front of 8 year-old daughter. Put the phone down on us twice. Tried to deny we had paid for it. Tried to shirk responsibility for mistake. And food stodgy and lukewarm too! Not surprised the hygiene rating isn’t great. I suspect they do this a lot, hoping people can’t be bothered to complain and then they make free extra profit. Avoid. So many nicer and more polite options out there. These guys are a team that seem to collectively enjoy clueless customer service, encouraging each other.

Stopped by randomly but great little find. If you want burgers in Hove, then that’s the perfect place. The actual restaurant is tiny so only for small groups but burgers taste great and are prepared quickly. Highly recommend.

I had a takeawayBacon cheese burger with chips is my usual choice upon a first visit. The burger was cooked to perfection, pink in the centre. It was served with caramelised onions, gherkin, rocket in a seeded bun. The chips were hand cut crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.I'd visit here again to try different burgers.

Food was rapid, good value and tasty, the sitting in options are somewhat lacking with only a table and two perching benches, but the food ultimately makes this a winner, thumbs up!

I used deliveroo to order 2 burgers, 2 fries and onion rings, the order took longer than the estimated time, (probably as the rider was doing another delivery before mine, deliveroo notified me of this). When it did arrive, everything was cold, limp and soggy.

Burgers are delicious and full of flavour. My favourite is the spicy one. Would definitely recommend :D

Great food but a little over priced.

Having lived in the city for four years, I've tried the burger joints in many "top five" lists, and the burgers here beat the others hands down for flavour, succulence and price. The freshly cooked beef patties were aromatic and juicy, the rolls had a pleasing hint of brioche-like sweetness but enough structure to hold the generous-sized burger, and the topping of caramelised onions, rocket, dill pickle and cheddar on mine (a "Cheesy Burger") was melting and oozy enough to have integrated into the whole, while my partner had the Piquante, which was similarly yummy but with a tomato-based salsa replacing the cheese. Sheer unctuous meaty pleasure. These were as close to perfection as a burger gets, and at £7.95 each they were great value too.

Sorry but the chicken burger was disgusting it tasted so rubbery - that was not proper chicken - the service was poor the lady could not speak English easily. - we waited for 40 minutes!!! And it was only 8pm!
