Unfortunately a very mixed experience. Went for lunch with my wife. Good range on the menu. Ordered a Cajun Chicken panini and a tuna baguette. First problem - were told they had no tuna left! How do you run out of tuna by lunchtime? Ordered a filled soda instead. Tea came along very quickly. We then waited half an hour for service, the place wasn't busy. My wife's dish came out. We had to get a refill of tea because ours was cold by that stage. I then had to wait another 15 minutes for my filled soda! Not good enough. Both dishes were quite good except for the clearly deep fried frozen chips that came with the panini. The rest was fresh and well presented. The waitress was very apologetic and attentive but badly let down by the kitchen. Too much competition in the area for service of that quality.

it hides discretely behind the bus stop - great sheltered area outside - sit and watch the world pass by - cosy seating areas inside - staff so pleasant - coffee to come back for - again - and again - food is of highest quality - presentation is exemplary - never disappointed with the dishes especially the soup freshly made each day - a great place to meet friends - a family meal - breakfast by yourself - open every day 9 'til 5 - try it once - you'll be back, not just for the food but the welcoming smile - every time.

Having heard rave reviews about the Sunday Cavery we were all very excited but to say we were underwhelmed would be an understatement. Starters what was left of them, was very basic. Soup was watery
