Jodeano's in Harrogate

Popped in today for the first time since the new owners took over. Menu looks good and staff friendly and professional. I ordered a roasted veg, mozzarella and pesto panini. FAR too much pesto, not enough mozzarella. the fillings weren't hot and the cheese wasn't melted. Hopefully just a one off, or settling in problems, I'll give them another try. I took it as a takeaway so wasn't able to give my feedback but I'm sure they would have sorted it out if i was still there.

I found myself here again recently. Small place, lacking in hipster wannabes with laptops and annoying friends. Also lacking in pitiful small talk at the counter. My kind of place. Friendly service and nice coffee.

We have gone to Jodeano's many times over the past few months and each time we have been very impressed. The cakes/cupcakes are to die for, the coffee/cappuccino is really good and the both the chicken salad and tuna salad babs were outstanding. In fact, I would go so far as to say that the tuna salad bap/sandwich was the best I can ever remember having and given that I am 70, I have eaten a hell of a lot of tuna salad sandwiches over the years. Actually, I am getting hungry just thinking about Jodeano's. In terms of the owners, I don't think I have ever been served by a friendlier people.

I went on a quest to find a nice, small independent cafe where I could read my book and I ended up here. Delicious coffee friendly service and a nice place.

Tuvimos una comida rápida y deliciosa en este café pequeño en el centro de Harrogate. Ambos tuvimos quesadillas, una vegetariana y uno no, y ambas estaban deliciosos. Totalmente recomendado para una comida ligera o un aperitivo. Buen servicio amable y muy barato. Evidentemente Jodeano tiene muchos clientes habituales, a juzgar por el ir y venir todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí.

It is not a full restaurant... but it's surely much more than a sandwich bar or sit-in takeaway. We have visited this town many times over the past twenty years and could hardly credit not having noticed it between two well-known restaurants we have used and reviewed in the past. However, for the want of a takeaway sandwich, we ventured in, thinking it might be a recent opening, only to find that the lady in charge informed us she'd been there for years. Further, in the short time we sat down and sampled her fare, the place was mega busy with people from all walks of life, in and out, clearly mostly regulars from round and about. And what we had? First Class Toastie and Cake served with professional aplomb and mastery of her art. We'll be back.

Dropped by for a sandwich at lunch time. Very polite staff indeed - nice selection of food to take away - I chose a ham and cheese panini. Freshly prepared, it was served hot in an insulated bag. Very good value indeed and a cut above the rank and file in Harrogate. Well worth visiting!

Jodeanos is the perfect place for a quick snack or a coffee on the go (real coffee might i add) the food is excellent, even tried the apricot and white chocolate sponge cake was gorgeous !!!! The owners are also very polite ! Avoid queues and check this place out 5 stars from me :D

A small café close to the Crown hotel with only around 10 seats. There is an interesting selection of sandwiches which are very good value and delicious. We were very impressed especially as we were offered a free mince pie as it was Christmas.

Didnt want to do the normal stand in a quee at Bettys so continued passed and down the hill towards the roundabout and saw Jodeanos on the other side of the round about, take away coffee or sit in and have a tasty snack - no problem freezing cold day, great warm welcome from Ozzie owner Jodie, and the best coffee promised, and delivered. Just resisted the scummy looking cake, but other half succumbed to the veggie wrap, very tasty -
