We just popped in for a quick bite & were so glad we choose this place. The egg salad sandwich was so delicious & fresh . My friend had the chicken & bacon also delightful. Great place, lovely lady serving . Definitely worth a visit.

I went into jills kitchen today with the intent to have a coffee and some food. Only to be told to move incase someone else needed the table! I am very upset with this and will no longer be a customer here

Passing through freshwater and decided to stop into this lovely well presented cafe Warm and very welcomed on arrival. We all chose the mega breckfast it was well prepaed and was just what we needed b4 heading home. Thankyou ladies

We had just arrived in Freshwater hungry and thirsty and this was the first place we found. It is very small but efficient and our lunch was beautifully cooked and hot. Friendly welcoming staff.

Absolutely lovely breakfast! Could have whatever we wanted and it was all cooked fresh. Seemed like a popular local place. Pleasant staff, all served with a smile. No complaints from us and such reasonable prices as well!

Very friendly welcome and service, excellent coffee and food, especially the super all day breakfast. Dog-friendly too.

Just had a light breakfast and cappuccino both were excellent. The bacon was thick and I would guess local. My partner had a cortado which was better than you get in high st coffee chains. Well worth a visit and has a garden out the back if it’s sunny. Highly recommended.

Going home tomorrow and tried this cafe today .. Food Was presented well looked good on the plate and felt good in the tummy. Would highly recommend for breakfast. Jills daughter was very nice and service was good and efficient. Ta. X

Great full English breakfast in a nicely spaced out cafe with great service. Just about the perfect way to start the day. Delish.

I had a full English breakfast and a coffee and my partner had a create your own breakfast! Served quickly by a lovely lady! The cafe is clean and tidy and everyone is spread out, there is also hand sanitiser on every table! A very nice breakfast and a great way to start the day!

We arrived as party of 6, With a wheelchair, and no tables available, they kindly moved a party of 2 to a smaller table To accommodate us. Freshly cooked food to order and free coffees as we waited. All our meals were delicious and the service so friendly. Good COVID measures in place with wipes and bleach spray for the toilet. Great find on the way to the Needles.

Hungry after walking at Alum Bay and didn’t fancy the cafe there. We were on our way to the CoOp to buy some ham and some bread to make a sarny as expected everywhere to be shut as late for lunch. Saw Jills and she made us some lovely baguettes which were more than just the job. Excellent and well recommended

Stopped by for lunch with our 2 young children and were comfortably seated in the courtyard at the back. An immediate warm hello to make us feel welcome. So friendly with the children, offered us menu advice on portion size. My son (5yrs) wanted to order prawn mayo although he had never tasted it before. He was swiftly given a sample pot with a smile to 'try before you buy.' He was delighted! We thought this was so kind and accommodating. Really above and beyond service. Our lunch was tasty too! All of us ended with empty plates.

Enjoyed seeing a veggie option on breakfast menu, and cafe also had some gluten free bread for my partner. Son enjoyed his custom breakfast. Just what we needed after a three hour bike ride.

I’ve had breakfast and tea (free top up) here 3 or 4 times. Very friendly service. Mainly used by locals. Always clean and tidy.

Popped in by chance and were not disappointed. Best cooked breakfast for a long time. All freshly cooked and very tasty! 5*

My third visit to Jills kitchen. This time with two friends. The full English Breakfast was very tasty and not at all greasy. My other friend decided to have the ham and mushroom omelette. Her comment was we are coming here again next time. We were also offered a free refill of a cuppa. Great value, great service, excellent price. Worth more than 5 star.

Great food, friendly service. I can recommend the Veggie breakfast, and my husband the Full English. Filled us up in preparation for a walk up to and along Tennyson Down a beautiful, but chilly February morning.

My husband and I had our first visit this morning and it won’t be our last. Had a lovely full English, with a proper mug of tea. Ladies, you don’t charge enough for what you offer!!

Good cooked breafast here with the nieces and nephews. Food good. Coffee good. Not too expensive, not too busy.

A nice little cafe where myself and my mum went for a much needed early evening meal. So nice to have a cafe open in the evening! I had home made chilli - very tasty, and mum had a jacket potato which she thoroughly enjoyed, and some icecream for which she was only charged 50p as she had a small portion!

We visited this restaurant with a friend on a Saturday evening, good to find a cafe open then. Jill is very friendly and welcoming. I had lasagne salad and garlic bread. Was very tasty and nice and hot. My partner had pea and ham soup it was a huge bowlful. He said it was the best he’s ever had!Our friend had cottage pie and veg she said it was delicious. Definitely recommend this cafe the pizzas looked delicious too.

Spotted this little place on the way through freshwater after visiting the needles leisure site (was not prepared to pay £10 each for a poor quality Greggs equivalent there!) After a tiring morning we just wanted a bite to eat of decent food and a coffee to perk up. Well what a lovely hidden gem this place is. Food was lovely! Service brilliant and a price to match. My girlfriend had the cottage pie. Perfect size portion, flavoursome meat with extra gravy as standard and melted cheese on the mash. just what we both needed! Thank you very much! We’ll spread the word and will be back :-)

After a trip to the very busy Alum bay, we spotted this little cafe from the bus window and jumped off to go and get food and a drink.

Poped in for a coffee and cake and was really average. The cake was dry and overspiced whilst the Cappuccino was really weak. Jill is always so friendly and chatty however on this occasion the food and drink were average at best.

Having driven past this cafe many a times being a bus driver I decided today to stop by and try some lunch whilst on a day off.

First place we visited on the island - for breakfast. Had stilton and cheddar toasty and a veggie breakfast - lady (owner?) was very amenable with our order and requests. Soya milk available. Welcoming. Plenty of visitors.

Tried the ham and cheese omelette with salad cooked perfectly plenty of ham and cheese in size good half the plate salad fresh with no onion good value and staff friendly

Only had time to call in for a very nice cuppa. However food being served to other customers looked very appetising. Looking forward to a return visit

On our first visit the pizzas were excellent and full of toppings it was also great that we could take our own wine this led to a great experience on a chance meeting with a Swiss couple. Second visit also did not disappoint, pizzas were again excellent and staff very friendly and attentive from the time we went in to the time we left. Definitely recommended

five of us had four pizzas from here last night and I am still drooling!! They were flipping excellent - and I know pizza! Definitely recommend to anyone who loves taste. Good delivery time and was piping hot when they got to us. Absolutely 100% certain this is going to become my number 1 for take out.

I popped into Jill's kitchen for a cuppa & a piece of homemade cake & it was fab! The tea was freshly brewed & the cake was yummy & definitely homemade at a bargain price of £2.50!Whilst there I saw that she also did homemade pizzas on Friday & Saturday evenings as Jill was making the pizza dough base. My partner & I went back that evening & had a pepperoni pizza & it was very tasty. The base was thin crust, plenty of toppings, nice & hot & definitely hit the spot!

Lovely baguettes, fab pizzas! Friendly staff, Jill can’t do enough to accommodate your needs/preferences, very clean and and an all round great addition to Freshwater high street!

i was told to try this cafe for a rustic pizza, ended up being a rubbish pizza.

Got off the ferry at 7am and knew we wanted to see the needles. Looked the best breakfasts nearby and came across this cute café! We had an amazing breakfast that has now left us feeling energised to explore the IOW. Thanks Jill’s kitchen!

She's recently added rustic pizzas to the menu on Friday and Saturday night. Tried them out yesterday and they are excellent. A lesson in why it pays to avoid the chains. And it's in West Wight and they deliver!

We come on a regular basis with my family having pizzas on a Friday evening it is so lovely the girls are so lovely and helpful and friendly could not do more for you the cafe is so clean and tidy and the food is so lovely and it is top notch and we recommend it to anyone they must try it the best cafe and pizza place in the West Wight

Popped in tonight for a takeaway pizza very welcome, very nice and very reasonable. Will definitely get another although I may leave off the jalapenos... much hotter than I'm used too. Still ate them though.

Had a lovely breakfast, cooked fresh, reasonably priced. Excellent menu to pick & choose to create your favourite. Staff friendly, nice atmosphere with background music

After getting of the ferry at Yarmouth went here for breakfast while waiting to get on our campsite. Lovely full English and add a cup of tea or coffee and this is unlimited. Lovely staff and very knowledgeable about the area so if you are a first time visitor to the island pick their brains while you are there. We went back on our last day and had another breakfast before heading home.

Came across this lovely place quite early Sunday morning, sat down in garden behind the restaurant, BEST Jacket potato I've had in ages, good coffee, great prices and milkshakes avaliable to cool you down in this hot weather. We are very happy customer's, thanks for amazing service

I love Jill’s Kitchen, I pop in regularly to get my lunch, but decided to give the takeaway pizza a try on a Saturday night. Stunning! Fresh, huge hand made rustic pizza, really delicious and must try.

Went in here a few days ago while in Freshwater and ordered a sausage and bacon baguette. Big and filling, very tasty, good value. Served in a good timely manner by friendly staff. Would pop in again if in area.

We have always visited this cafe on trips to the Island and in previous years have always found the baguettes very filling and good quality, also recommended this cafe to family and friends but when visiting recently we were shocked at the lack of filling in the baguettes, there was in fact more butter than tuna on my tuna mayo baguette and sadly I would no longer visit this cafe when I'm on the Island.

I went there with a friend for breakfast. I like having sweet things so I had two slices of Victoria Sponge. De-li-cious. My friend had full English breakfast, and loved it. We definitely recommend it!

Lovely welcome by the smiley, friendly lady owner. We had strong but smooth coffee, plus homemade cake which was delicious. It’s popular with locals, and the locals are friendly and include you in the conversation which is nice. It is also very clean with lots of menu options. We particularly liked the fact we could go in with the dogs who were made to feel equally welcome by everyone.

Excellent breakfast would highly recommend. Lovely clean cafe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
