Didn't have any food but the service was very good as was the atmosphere

Went on Friday evening with my best mate. We don't get out much with having young children between us and we had such a lovely experience. Staff warm friendly and attentive. Not to mention a cracking playlist! The cocktails are rather delicious and there's plenty of choice! It's a chilled atmosphere with cool vibes, will certainly be back! 😀

Always love coming here. They limit capacity so it's not awful and crowded like most cocktail bars. So book in advance.

We went yesterday for a quick cocktail and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff are so friendly and always made sure to check up on us/see if we needed anything. Table service was fantastic. The cocktails themselves were wonderful, the one I had was extremely refreshing too and they were a fair price. I would love to visit again and try out one of their boards

Recommended to go here and absolutely lived up to the recommendation. Friendly from arrival, offering a choice of seating. Plenty of cocktail options including some off menu options. Quality service only experienced in city centre venues.

We sampled a couple of drinks here before our anniversary meal. The drinks menu was very impressive though I have to admit that cocktails aren't really my bag. I did however enjoy a really good G&T, just regular. My wife had a beer and one of the variation Spritz. Both met with her approval. Service was excellent, by the two guys on duty. They were chatty, friendly and ensured that we got just what we wanted with the minimum of fuss. The place itself is really comfortable with settee areas and more formal high seat tables. The music was very inoffensive and wasn't a hindrance to us enjoying our time there. All in all it was a good, enjoyable experience that I would gladly repeat. The meat and cheese boards sounded good but unfortunately we had a booking elsewhere. Next time perhaps!

First time for me and can honestly say this place is a gem.. the decor and atmosphere was perfect, the service was outstanding making sure our drinks were always full , the food is locally sourced and was gorgeous, plenty too.. would highly recommend and certainly will be back

I didn't read the website where it mentions you need to book a table over the weekend, so my bad. But they told me I had to wait outside and message them through Facebook or Instagram to request a table instead of just telling me, but because they were busy; they never responded! I went elsewhere.

Excellent birthday treat here. Mixed board of Cheese and Charcuterie with some delicious cocktails... just what was required for a balmy evening in Garforth. Staff all very delightful too and excellent service.

Super little place! We visited on a Saturday evening without a booking. They managed to fit us in. Good atmosphere, not too loud and good service. The extensive cocktail menu means there is something for every cocktail lover and a choice of beers for those who aren't. Would 100% go again.

Really nice place for cocktails. Cocktails are really well made. I love a good amaretto sour and they certainly did a good one here. They have a good range of cocktail options and can make others if you don't see your favourite on the list.

As always, we had such a wonderful time there last night - this place is a little taste of heaven. The staff are so fantastically helpful as well !! Amazing drinks, everything expertly made and presented. So lucky to have this in Garforth.

We always enjoy an evening at J&J, the people of garforth are extremely lucky having this gem on their doorstep! My husband raved about the Pinot noir and my cocktails were amazing! Lovely friendly staff who helped us with food/drink choices!

Really nice place but the owner/manager let it down. Me and my brother came in with my mum and her friends. The bouncer had no problem with us and we got on really well with him. Never had this type of predudice in any other city in the UK. I don't know what the owner thinks his place is. Ive been let into the ritz wearing trackies, this place is not the ritz. Very nice, but not the ritz.

Nice place but owner very rude. They seat you where they like even when they are more comfortable seats that were reserved, but the customers not coming for 2 hours. The drinks are over priced and the owner thinks the place is something special and reserved for royalty. The place is on Garforth Main Street for his sake!

Once again refused entry ? At the door to walk in was told table service only , and no tables , a table for 4 with 2 seats empty was available, when mentioned was told no it’s not ?? What is it with this place ?.

Love, love, love this place. Great atmosphere and the staff really look after you. At busy times, you must book, but walk ins will be accommodated if they have space.

I had good food but when I said the name of the restaurant I got jumped 😢 (my pfp is the culprit) I recommend the food but not the name 👍

We did not have a reservation on a busy Saturday teatime but the staff were welcoming and able to accomodate us for 45 minute which gave us time for two drinks. The lemon drop was my favorite of the two I tried and will I have again when we next visit.

Our favourite wine bar in the world 🌎 Claire & Dan are fantastic hosts, always love to stop and converse with us, very friendly & welcoming. Their cocktails are superb and there are plenty of fantastic wines, spirits & beers to choose from. Not forgetting the mouth watering cheesboard sections, including scrumptious pies.

Professionly run,high standard venue that always has friendly customer service.Highly recommend.

Rudeley rushed to finish our drinks and leave with no prior warning. Won't be going back again, nice enough place astetically but the owner was rude and the drinks are over priced.

Fantastic day today. Mums first trip out in 14 months. We had to celebrate at the local Cocktail Bar with glass of wine, cappuccinos and chocolate orange brownies (very moorish). Can thoroughly recommend Jiggar and Jar in Garforth staff so friendly, it was clean, organised and delicious food and drink. Toilet suitable for wheelchair, outside heaters, plenty of room and huge umbrellas just in case. We will definitely be going again

Best cocktail bar in Leeds - Having living in Leeds City Centre for many years, we have been to many cocktail bars. However, since moving to Garforth, this is far the best one we have tried. Great selection of drinks (fairly priced) and the staff are always friendly and make time for a chat - this makes a big difference to the experience you have. We still need to book in to try the food boards which look awesome! Would highly recommend this place to anybody

Called at lunch and had their cheese board. Brie, goats, wensleydale, cheddar with grapes, crushed figs, chutney, chorizo, olives and biscuits eased down with a perfect pinot blush. Would definitely go again.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The staff have a great attitude towards the customers making us feel welcomed. The service had quite a personal touch. Great selection of cocktails and spirits, something for everyone. Appreciated the bowl of nibbles in arrival, want to try the pie and cheese next time. Will be returning and recommending it to others.

Rather small, very busy, doesn't open late enough and we waited ages at the bar. Cocktails are amazing, but a little over priced for Garforth.

Great little bar, and much needed addition to Garforth. Good music, and chilled. Only criticisms, not keen on the unisex toilets. Prefer separate ladies and gents. Other criticism is staff handling the fruit, that is put in drinks, with their fingers. Unhygienic, and very surprised, this happens here. I shall definitely decline, fruit offered in my drink.

Went on Sunday at 7pm. Ran out of draft beer. Nice place cool music
