Good value, interesting menu choices, attractive presentation of dishes. Scotch egg had runny egg yolk, with crisp coating and moist forcemeat surrounding. The soy glazed king oyster mushroom was another winner. Excellent choice of main courses. Great friendly team delivered good service. Good value for money. Will visit again.

Food is excellent here for the price! The bar staff just struggle to prioritize in order and sometimes if they're busy you're left waiting for ages.

What a fabulous meal. We had scallops and pork belly and duck. A lovely bottle of merlot and finished off with a cocktail. A lovely evening and outstanding service by Millie and Lauren. Thank you for making our birthday meal so special xx

Can always rely on this place having good food. Their pies are delicious, and every seasonal fish dish I've ever had has been so nice!

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and it didn't disappoint. We were blown away by the food, very impressive for a fairly low key spot. As vegetarians, we're often disappointed by limited and uncreative menu choices but the risotto with asparagus, artichoke and fennel was the best I've ever tasted. The other dishes, including desserts were delicious too. Perhaps not a spot for a romantic date as the music is a bit loud, but if you're a foody then definitely worth the visit.

Visited 7 steps with husband and family for a Sunday roast. Cosy atmosphere, adequate seating inside friendly staff. Food was very good, tasty, and nicely presented. Variety of desserts. Good selection of Drinks and Cocktails at the average prices. Street Parking.

Really nice place, with very nice food. I recommend the scotch egg starter, which is far from any scotch egg you be expected and is excellent. It does a really nice roast on Sunday at a very reasonable price too.

What can I say about 7 steps? The best Sunday lunch I’ve eaten out, great service , very efficient and attentive staff, the beef was cooked to perfection. 10/10, thank you for a perfect Sunday dinner .

Partner booked us in here for my birthday and really enjoyed it. Steaks were delicious. Staff were lovely. Will be back soon. *Edit - been back a few times and always great. The fish broth starter is a must try!!

Food was amazing, we went on a Friday and they had 2 for £10 on cocktails. All the ones we had were delicious. Can't fault it at all! Great place for date night, reasonable price and good sized portions.

Sunday lunch at The Seven Steps Pudsey. We called on the off chance of a table on Sunday, which the waitress confirmed they were fully booked but did manage to set us one. We ordered the pork Sunday lunch and I have to say it was so tasty. The pork was tender and the pork scratching was delicious, overall the lunch was exceptional. We also ordered the sticky toffee pudding which also was delicious. Would highly recommend this place. The waitresses and bar tenders were also very friendly and professional. Well done Seven Steps.

Great place to drink, friendly staff and great cocktails too.

Lovely hidden gem. staff were very friendly and helpful, especially to my mum with a wheat allergy. The food was lovely- relatively simple but executed perfectly. Good portions too- 5 large scallops for the starter and a large piece of sea bass for main. The wine menu is also well priced. Will be back soon!

My trip visiting my daughter was all arranged around a meal at Seven Steps. She has visited several times and really wanted to take me there, especially for the Dippy Egg dessert. The atmosphere was lovely as were the staff. As we arrived early we had a glass of wine to start and then i had the pie of the day and my daughter the braised cheek. Of course we had the Dippy Eggs to finish. great food and good service.

Visited tonight for the first time and it wont be out be our last time going. The food was amazing. Portion sizes were great and delicious

I visited this place for the first time, with a close friend on a Saturday evening. I booked a table online just a few hours before attending. The waitress was very welcoming and explained the specials and gave us time to choose our drinks order. We ordered a lovely bottle of red wine and a jug of water. Two savoury eggs as starters , and a rump and sirloin steak main with a Dianne sauce to share. The food was absolutely delicious! The savoury egg starter is huge!!! We should have shared! Can not say enough good things about it. The 🥩, was cooked just as we ordered it was stunning! We had a few cocktails, afterwards which were very good. Unfortunately the toilets are up loads of steps, and there are steps at the front of the restaurant. I'm unsure if they have access for those with mobility issues .

Great place, very cosy and a good atmosphere. Food was brilliant - highly recommend the scallop starter and the steak was one of the best I've had. Not cheap but certainly worth the money.

We were a party of 10, had starters & main meals, everyone of us enjoyed our meals, all the staff were extremely welcoming & friendly. All our meals were cooked to perfection

Decent atmosphere & good staff but prices OTT. My husband had a Steak £27 & myself & daughter had burger & chips £16 each with a side salad £3.50. Whilst we are happy that the meat is good quality local produce. The burgers were small but seriously lacking in any flavour, which was the real blow. Such a shame. This and 2 beers came to £77 ouch! Don't think we will be returning.

Great food and great service. The Sunday roasts we're fantastic and a good vegan option too. We had a 7yo and 2yo with us and the staff were great with them, both kids loved their food too. It's taken us far too long to try, but it won't be long until we're back.

I thought the starter and dessert I had were better than I have had in most restaurants locally. I have the consommé for starter and the 'dippy egg' dessert which was michelin star level.

We had a large family celebration and wanted to try the award winning Sunday lunch. The carnivores were treated to gammon or beef and the veggies and vegans had a very tasty shallot tart. The plates arrived piled high with enormous light Yorkshire puddings. Marmite roast potatoes were a massive hit with everyone and the service quick and attentive. Lots of seasonal veg was presented in bowls across the tables. For those with any room left ( not many) were treated to a sweet version of dippy eggs, a huge portion of sweet, sticky toffee pudding and home made rich chocolate brownie. It is very hard to please 27 people but the 7 Steps team did just that. We are looking forward to our next get together

I never usually leave reviews but I thought this feedback could be helpful as we ate the most amazing meal. The food was some of the best I have had especially the deserts which we had to save room for after seeing photos before our visit. The only thing I would say is the service seemed disorganised and the blonde lady especially seemed uninterested in our dining experience and more focused on talking to other staff and going on her phone at the bar area I would say that she came across as rude. I will return in the hopes that the staff receive some hospitality training although there was one lovely man which I’m sure would have perfected our experience had we have been served by him the whole time. Could be my new favourite with some improvements to the service!

Food was okay although the chicken was very dry. We could not hold a conversation with friends for the awful noise from a "singer/guitar player" at a 60th party. We were not warned about this when we booked. My friend was charged an extra £3 for a mixed meat plate and again no pre warning of the extra charge. Needless to say we will not return

Family birthday meal, second visit and will definitely be returning. Everything was spot on. Chateaubriand was amazing as was all the food. Lovely house red wine. So pleased we have this gem of a place in Pudsey. Can’t wait to come back.

absolutely gorgeous. you can tell they go out of their way to source the best ingredients & everything is beautifully prepared. that steak was one of the best we've had in a long time & the other courses were delicious, too. felt like a special dining experience whilst still being fairly cosy & right on our doorstep...will definitely be back.

This restaurant could not have been a nicer experience. From the second we arrived the staff were so helpful and friendly. We were told about the brilliant steak night offer and also the chefs special. We ended up having a starter, main and dessert, and a few cocktails, all of which were delicious. We are already planning our next trip back, a must visit!

Been here a couple of times now. The food is absolutely incredible and the staff are super friendly. We often get the chefs experiment as it's always the best thing on the menu!

Superb restaurant & bar, the 7 steps certainly knows how to deliver, from scallops gratin to mushroom arancini. Then onto Chateaubriand! unbelievable, it was perfect. Thank you.

So I got married yesterday and we had our wedding reception at 7 steps. They couldn't do enough for us. James the head chef helped us choose a menu for the day and everyone commented on how delicious the food was. Colette is a true credit to this place. Her customer service is amazing and she helped make the day. We then had our evening party in the cellar bar. This is such a great space. Joe made some amazing cocktails and millie & the bar team kept everyone well hydrated. I can not sing the priases of the 7 steps team enough. If you are looking to hold a function want great food and good service I would strongly suggest you look into booking out 7 steps for the day.

Just moved round Pudsey and absolutely delighted to find this little gem is out local. The staff are fabulous, the food is delightful and the atmosphere is lovely. Thanks ladies

Excellent Sunday lunch, decent value, sufficient choice for all 3 of us, prepared without undue delay, well presented, good friendly service. Too full for pudding, but they looked good on other tables!

Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is due to having only 3 vegetarian options on the whole menu. 1 starter and only 2 main options. Nothing at all for vegans. The food did taste very good though. Just need more choice

Staff were nice but they shouldn't accept big bookings if they can't cope with them, our cod meals had obviously been kept warm so the fish was over cooked. Starters were ok and people who had the pie said it was nice

Gorgeous food, great service. Staff so polite and helpful. The food though, so beautiful, can't wait to go again. The place is really clean and there is parking outside. It's so much better than going into leeds centre for a meal, the quality of the food and service is just as good as you'd expect from a nice restaurant in Leeds centre. Can't wait to go again soon.

First visit today to 7 Steps. Scotch egg starter was amazing and egg still runny. Roast beef dinner was 100% lovely. Now best till last sticky toffee pudding the best I have ever had. Will be returning.

The food was very nice . But unfortunately the service didn't match ... We arrived early for our meal. We felt very rushed into placing our order by the staff. Also some of the staff were miserable, it felt like they didn't want to be there 😕 Passing the food to us because they couldn't ne bothered to walk round to the end of the table

We were at a Birthday party in 7 steps cellar bar ...its newly opened it was a beautiful room and great for a party . The selection of drink was good and they even have a cocktail bar 🍹🍸 lovely place and good location

Best steak 🥩 I've had in blooming ages! Top starters, tasty chips, lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed it massively. One younger female member of staff let the side down somewhat, not asking the others for drinks when one person ordered and being abrupt, plonking food and drinks down with little care. But the other staff were awesome and friendly! Will return happily!

Really really great food & not stupid prices either. Small but cosy & very welcoming. The owner & his staff clearly take great pride in the place.

Disappointed food tepid, poor service, once we had ordered and got our food, nobody came to check if we needed anything else or if everything was okay, we were only asked this question when we were paying the bill, I made a comment on the food being cold, we were told it had been stood we were only the second table to be served we went for my birthday treat not much of a treat

Absolutely fantastic. Had Sunday lunch yesterday, 7 of us all getting together for the first time since before lockdowns. Joe and his team made us feel so welcome. We all went for the Roast, followed by desserts, cooked to perfection, generous portions. A truly great establishment, providing top quality, well described and presented, honest food, set in a wonderful relaxed environment. Looking forward to going back and delving more into the menu!

Great place to have in Pudsey. Offers food better than nearly anywhere in Leeds outside the city centre, and better than most places there too. Really great, good quality, adventurous and interesting dishes. Nothing boring here! Great service too, and a lovely atmosphere. We're lucky to have it!

Popped in for Sunday lunch whilst visiting friends, had the roast beef and it was fantastic, treated myself to a 'Dippy egg for dessert and wasn't disappointed, food and staff were all fantastic.

Really enjoyed the whole experience no problem with the service very prompt and nothing to much trouble will definitely go again.

Exceptional! I have been fortunate enough to eat all over the world in some amazing restaurants but to have 7 steps on my doorstep is a blessing. The food is not just phenomenal, it's an experience. Every single mouthful. My wife and I shared the scallops and the oyster mushrooms for starters. Wow. The flavours. We then shared the chateaubriand for our main and we were blown away. Cooked and seasoned to perfection, it just melted in the mouth. Heaven. If the food is the reason to come and try 7 steps, the staff and the customer service is the reason you will stay long into the night enjoying the cocktails and keep coming back time after time.

Friendly atmosphere, great food , value for money will definitely visit again soon .

Amazing Sunday dinner, cant wait to come back.

Went here for a casual evening dinner with some friends, it's a nice fairly cosy setting it's reasonably priced and the service was good I ordered the filet steak and asked for it almost blue which is exactly how it arrived, absolutely perfect! The peppercorn sauce definitely seemed less creamy and more peppery, which I suppose is how it ought to be but personally I prefer it more creamy. The thick cut chips were beautifully done, tasty and had a nice crunch to the outer layer. The caramac aero and raspberry brownie was also absolutely beautiful! The service was good, we weren't waiting around for long for our food and it was fairly busy when we went. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend.

The bar is nice and prices reasonable, my reason for 3 stars is their wasn't any room to sit in the bar, so me and my friend sat in the eating area where their were plenty of places free to sit, 15 mins into us sitting their, a waitress or bar person told us that we can't sit their anymore and we had to move asap in an aggressive tone, which we didn't mind moving, it was how we were spoken too, it dosent hurt to be polite.

Birthday party of 18 were well looked after. Food was delicious with some interesting options (egg & soldiers dessert!) and service was sharp 👌

Really nice place. The food was lovely, I had a cheeseburger and my partner had the BLT, both served with their beautiful chips (cooked in beef dripping). I would have liked to see a few more options on their lunch menu but better to do a few things really well than lots not so well. We then ordered dessert, very rich for me but no problem for my sweet toothed boyfriend who finished both. Tastefully decorated. Well stocked bar and a very nice bar manager, friendly and happy to chat. Labour of love.

The food is always amazing and has generous portions. Sunday lunch is fabulous and Joe and the staff always make you feel welcome.
