Y se puede recomendar residente local como los comentarios anteriores tienen la comida es excelente. Tan triste escuchar que Alex y su esposa son tener que salir no sé por qué pero el reemplazo de ser mejor?

Justo mi calle, un pueblo antiguo puesto con techos bajos, vigas expuestas y un montón de rincones y recovecos. El menú era corto y no apartarnos demasiado lejos de comidas tradicionales de pub, pero la calidad de la comida y la preparación fue excelente. Las cervezas de barril estaban en muy buenas condiciones, en particular la lubina, que es conocido por ser difícil de mantener bien, era deliciosa. Nos bien cuidado por nuestra camarera y el barman que Todos fuimos a hacer una noche muy agradable. Hay mesas disponibles en la noche que nos fuimos, pero entiendo que pueden ocupar muy fácilmente, así que es aconsejable reservar con antelación.

El equipo formado por marido y mujer Alex y Natalie fueron espectaculares en darnos una fantástica cena para recordar. ¡Enhorabuena!

Me quedé muy impresionado con la comida que mi amigo y yo pasamos aquí el viernes por la noche pasada. El servicio es rápido y eficiente, y que no te sientes como si estuvieras esperando demasiado tiempo entre campos. Tuve Pigeon y ensalada de bacon para empezar, que era increíblemente bueno. filete de cerdo para mi plato principal, que también fue muy bueno. Lo único que no me gusta bastante tanto fue el postre; un chocolate, naranja y pistacho e higo. Había un poco demasiado jengibre en la base para mí y era muy rica. Pero eso fue a gusto personal y es la única razón por la que me dieron a esta comida "muy buena" en vez de "excelente". Todos dijeron que era una comida muy agradable y sin duda comer aquí, ya que no es excesivamente caro. La comida ha mejorado mucho desde el nuevo chef invadían todo y mucho más refinado con algunos fantásticos sabores.

Lo que un hallazgo fantástico y un pub rural y tradicional soberbio general del país con un restaurante de primera clase. La comida es tan buena relación calidad-precio para lo que es claramente comida de calidad del restaurante. Quería conocer el chef para charlar y expresar nuestro agradecimiento pero mi esposa pulido casi dos botellas de la Rioja excepcional que lista, así que tuvimos que irnos después de pagar para que fuera a la cama.

Booked a table in the Restaurant for a special family dinner as I was visiting the UK on holiday from Spain. The whole evening was a fantastic experience, the food, staff and ambiance was incredible. My family loved everything and they even made a special fuss over my granddaughter who had proper chicken (not nuggets I am pleased to say) and chips for her main. The lamb shank in Beer gravy was exceptional and fell off the bone, although to be fair no plates left the table with any food on them. A very memorable evening I will never forget but for all the right reasons. Just wonderful.

Lovely home cooked food, presentation was excellent, staff were really friendly and the food wasn't overpriced. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly we will definitely be going back.

The seafood evening last night was absolutely second to none. Wonderful food and beautifully presented, we would thoroughly recommend!

Wow! Just wow. We had the lamb and it was to die for. The best meal we have had in a long time. Staff are amazing. Natalie and Alex are so lovely. Would recommend to everyone.

This is the best kept secret in Staffordshire. Just had a brilliant meal on one of the gourmet evenings. It was Tapas night and the food and service was 10 out of 10 Don't tell too many people!!!

I have with my partner eaten a few times at the crown, and the food is always cooked to perfection, always a great experience. The menu us changed weekly and all the ingredients are fresh and cooked from scratch. Natalie keeps the restaurant in order while hubby in the kitchen.........a greT team.

Enjoyed a French Brasserie Menu at The Crown in Elford last night. Alex Pomeroy, who is Head Chef and Manager of the restaurant at The Crown, is giving more and more customers fine food and value for money. The restaurant has approximately 30 covers; this chef has a natural flair and most of the time preps and cooks on his own. He is supported by his wife Natalie and staff who together provide a friendly and efficient service. This review is based on several visits to the restaurant in recent months, there is a regular change of menu and sometimes special gourmet evenings.

Restaurant is cosy with limited menu but all freshly cooked to a high standard and the service is excellent. It's certainly worth a visit!

As a family of 5 plus a little person we savoured an excellent lunch at this restaurant within the Crown Inn. We would certainly return for excellent food, service, value for money and to enjoy the ambience within this village inn.
