Lovely afternoon tea for three. Two of us vegetarian but didn't feel like we missed out at all. Everything freshly prepared and friendly service - even after I got the time wrong and arrived 30 mins later than expected! Would recommend highly.

have been meaning to pop in here to sample their food and drink, and this weekend we finally did. only a small place but plenty of space when we popped in just after midday on saturday. plenty to choose from the menu, so i opted for a medium breakfast with a cappucino while my wife had a tuna sandwhich with a diet coke. did not have to wait for too long for our drinks or food and my breakfast was lovely, hot and freshly cooked and my wifes sandwich was well presented and tasty. plenty of cakes on offer well but we did not have any so cannot comment on their taste or freshness. very clean and tidy as well. will definetley visit here again soon

I met up with friends at Jenny's Tearoom and we did stay for quite a long time, chatting while eating. I was conscious we were taking up a table with not much food, but no one seemed to mind. My friends each ordered different sandwiches or toasties. One asked for no salad, but was given salad. Another wasn't impressed with the thickness of the granary bread, but overall, they were happy with their food, but felt too full to have cake as well. I ordered a scone, which arrived very warm and with icing sugar on top. When I tasted it, I decided this icing sugar must have been to hide the fact that it was over cooked and had a burnt taste. I don't know why it was warm, it seems an unusual way to serve a scone, as cream doesn't go well on hot food. As the scone was quite small, I decided to have a piece of cake with my second cup of coffee. ( I was disappointed, though, that skimmed milk wasn't available for my latte.) As I have allergies, I was very careful in my choice of cake, but wasn't able to find out much about the cake ingredients when I asked. I chose a raspberry and white chocolate one, which had very little taste and was very heavy. The bit of buttercream in it and the topping were very nice, though. It was a very big slice of cake. I only ate half of it, but it wasn't nice enough to bother taking the rest home. I would have preferred something like cupcakes, with not much cake and a lot of buttercream to have been on offer. I know the cakes are very popular, though, so maybe I was unlucky that I chose a rather dense one. Overall, we had a nice relaxing couple of hours and felt very welcome, but some of the sweet food could have been nicer. I went home a bit disappointed, having been looking forward to the visit for over a month. Despite this, I've given four stars due to the nice staff and it being a pleasant place to meet up.

I was surprised for my 30th for an afternoon tea by my mum and sister. When we had arrived the ladies were lovely and even decorated with birthday banners! They catered for my 2 little girls and niece and even provided them children afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was gorgeous and well presented. The ladies even provided me a candle on my scone! They went above and beyond and the food was gorgeous! The ladies are great hostesses and I will definitely be in again soon!! Xxx

We pre-odered, due to my dietary needs - very low carbohydrate and vegetarian - and they prepared a delightful range of mini- salads for me. My wife had the 'standard 'afternoon tea and was surprised at the number and variety of mini-sandwiches and freshly baked slices of cake. As it was a special occssion, I allowed myself a scone and really nice it was too.

Warm welcome from the two ladies, Mrs B had a slice of Battenburg cake I had a scone with jam, cream and marmalade jam. The scone was small but was the most delightful in taste and texture. Would definitely book and go back again for the afternoon tea. The tea shop is small but the tables are spaced well. Home made cakes are the best and we were not disappointed 😋

I love to visit Jenny’s Teashop when I’m in Sandbach town centre. It always feels like a treat. It’s very rare these days to find tea shops like this and brings back happy memories of my childhood. Jenny’s Teashop never disappoints. I regularly visit for breakfast and to buy some of Jenny’s home-made cake. The breakfasts are always made fresh to order with top quality ingredients and beautiful granary bread. Jenny makes the best home-made cakes which are very addictive and impossible to say no to. But the best thing about Jenny‘s tea shop is always friendly and welcoming customer service you received from Jenny and Grace.

Having had an amazing afternoon tea in the tea shop in March just before lockdown to celebrate my mums birthday, we decided to have a home delivery afternoon tea delivery for an early Father’s Day treat. Again we weren’t disappointed. Lovely little neatly cut sandwiches, especially the tuna and egg and the most amazing scones and selection of tiffin, Victoria sponge and coffee and walnut cake. A real treat. Jenny is so warm, friendly and accommodating and has made her quaint tea shop (reopening this week) such a gem for our lovely town of Sandbach. Beautifully decorated for each new season of the year. Can thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants something different to the usual high street main chain brand and wants to support a local Sandbach business. A*****

Cute little tea shop, had a full English which was on the small side for the price but hey! I don't mind paying a little extra for an actually decent sausage. Nice hash brown to, lovely crunchy granary bread. Service slow but nothing to complain about. Friend had a toastie which she loved but felt the crisps were not needed, would have liked more salad instead..friend should have asked really. Will be back! Nice and warm on a cold February afternoon.

There is such a pleasant atmosphere. It's the type of place you want to drink hot chocolate with whipped cream in the winter but equally soft drinks during the warmer weather with the breeze blowing thru the door.
