Dogs not allowed but sat on a bench in the churchyard and had a coffee and very nice pastis de nata. Without a dog cafe would have been comfortable, airy and open.

We often visit Church Hill café as a group, and all because of their cheese scones. They serve them warm with grated cheese and pickle. The coffee is excellent, and there are other types of scones and cakes, think they do toasted teacakes too.. The staff are always very friendly. It is only open in term time, closes in the holidays, and is actually at the back of St.John's Church.

This small café is situated in a very pleasant (and active) Anglican church in an attractive town. The food is tasty and the service speedy and friendly. It's also good value.

This is a cafe belonging to a large Anglican Church. Note that it is only open in term time. The food is great and reasonably priced, a cut above your usual cafe food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Service is quick and efficient. If you go out by the main enterance there are some very old interesting plaques.

The ambience in this Anglican church cafe is very good. You can enjoy friendly efficient staff while you listen to recordings of stirring church music. Its popularity with regulars is obvious - and the cakes and coffee are first rate and reasonably priced. My own favourite is a home made cold chicken salad, with a sprinkling of sliced potato chips on top. Yummy.

As a regular visitor to this busy cafe in a beautiful space in St John's Church I can say, without contradiction, that they serve the best coffee, freshly baked cakes, delicious panini 's & scrumptious sandwiches in Knutsford. The staff are bright, friendly and always welcoming - it is always a pleasure to wile away an hour enjoying the food, drink, music and atmosphere.

We visited during heritage week, we were made very welcome, had pot of tea and cake. Mum was very impressed with size of tea pot! She had several cups and said she could have sat there all morning. It's a shame they are not open longer for afternoon and school holiday visits.

From the warm greeting on arrival to the goodbye at the end, Church Hill Café is a haven at the top of the hill. The home-made cakes are delicious, my personal favourite being the brownies. There is a great selection of coffees, but if like me you're a tea drinker, then no need to feel left out. There are quality teas too, from Breakfast through to Earl and Lady Grey, to a selection of herbal teas. The café is scrupulously clean, and is popular with mums with young children (plenty of room for buggies) up to ladies who lunch and older clientele. A warm and welcoming atmosphere: do try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. Open on term times from 9.30 to 2.30. Disabled access.

My wife and I called in for a light lunch and coffee. The cafe is located in the redeveloped front of a rather non description church. On entering we were greeted with a warm setting and friendly staff most of whom we learnt were volunteers. The good was simple and fresh and the coffee exceptional.I did point out that there are many places in Cheshire that serve coffee but my wife was adamant her description be used.A hidden gem well worth a visit but check trading days/hours first.
