Jeffreys Pie And Mash in Southend-on-Sea

Food was superb, service really pleasant. Just an absolute pleasure to have been there. I visited with my elderly parents and they loved that it brought back some lovely memories of East London where my mum grew up in the 40s and 50s.

Great place to have pie and mash highly recommend, if you love pie and mash please try this place , staff real friendly, and also do Salt beef bagel great place to eat.

Great atmosphere. Was welcomed with a smile. Food was pipping hot and tasted fantastic. Took me back to when I was a kid.

Wnet in for Pie and Mash, was talked into their Sausage mash and gravy - big mistake. Sausges were dry and tastless, mash was lumpy. Boss was not happy I passed critism!! Will give and second chance and try their Pie and Mash next week. It appears nothing is made on the premises, could be wrong, but asked about salt beef and bagels - they said they are "frozen from brick lane" - no thanks
