This the best Wetherspoons we have been to. Fast efficient service and decent food. The manager went to every table to ask about the food. Others could certainly learn from her.

Normally Wetherspoons meals are ok. But I ordered a bacon and egg muffin. Normally i have to wait while it is being prepared, so imagine my surprise when the “chef” appeared within seconds of me sitting down with my breakfast muffin. The reason must have been because the egg was cooked yesterday and the bacon was found at the back of the grill. Hopefully this was an isolated incident.

Me and my friend met up here after I suggested it due to visiting a few years ago. It was just as pleasant as I remembered. Lovely building, very spacious and extremely comfortable. We arrived on a Sunday lunch time, it was really quiet so there were plenty of places to sit. The staff were super friendly and the food was great. No complaints whatsoever. I'll definitely be going here again in the near future! The food isn't Michelin star standard but it's excellent value for the money so I can't complain at all!

We came after work for afew drinks. A colleague who is 20 years old ordered an alcoholic free drink (pear cider alcohol free) on the app as she was driving. She was ID and she didn't have any on her. So the staff member took the drink away ..which she wasn't too bothered about then refused to refund her ! After speaking to the manager he agree to refund my colleague. How can they think it's ok to keep someone's money ? By all means ID people and refuse when they can't produce it but to keep someone's money .... really!!!!

I ordered 4 meals then added 2 more the 4 meals came the other 2 didn’t I went back 2 and was told the meals were coming on the third time I went back after waiting one hour I was told it had gone to another table the manger was dishonest and so was the waitress and the bar staff I was given a refund but I was more upset that I had been lied to they had clearly forgotten the food didn’t go to another table as I was sat opposite the table where they had said the food had gone I will never go back disappointed dishonest come on Bramley unicorn was not built on dishonesty Anna Griffith

We visited on a Saturday morning for breakfast and were left beyond disappointed. We don’t expect gourmet food from such a place but expected better than what we got. First issue was the coffee machine was only half working. It was poorly dealt with and the line for a coffee was always at least 10 deep. We ordered x2 full English and a small American breakfast. When the food arrived our son asked is this all the bacon I get? He had x2 tiny pieces of bacon between his pancakes. Probably half a rasher at best. The other food was also cool and as a result greasy. The toast soggy. We got the attention of our server and she agreed it was a joke how little bacon was on the plate and that we should complain to head office to get anything done about it. We left disappointed and feeling that more could have been done to appease us. When we contacted customer service they passed our complaint back to the pub. The manager Brian then came back to us asking why we did not complain in the pub. We explained the situation to which he came back saying he felt there was no issue to compensate. This demonstrates that they are happy to just take your money and do not care less about satisfaction or repeat business. When the owner of Wetherspoons is saying people are not going to his pubs and are choosing to drink at home. Perhaps he dig a bit deeper to see some of the terrible offerings his business is delivering along with the very poor service. Why not just do it at home much better. £25 for poor breakfast. How much breakfast food could you buy for that! Avoid and go else where.

Me and my family, more than you can imagine(12) just came to the "unicorn" It did not disappoint!! There were unicorn milkers every where! Also ynicorm farmers! One of them really enjoyed me spitting on his johnson! One person that did stand out was Matthew! A hero among men and women (let's not assume)

Just to put my review into a bit of perspective, through no more than a little bit of food snobbery and reputation I have never previously used any of this brand, and after the MD got his nose stuck into politics and the BREXIT debate, I then vowed I never would cross the threshold of Wetherspoon. However staying for the night locally and not wanting to venture too far on a freezing winter evening I opted to put my predice and vows to one side and Ventured in the this place for a quick meal. Walking through the door was very welcoming, the whole pub was very busy with a wonderful hubbub of folks enjoying the food drink and company. I felt instantly at ease and was quickly and politely informed at the bar what the procedure was for ordering. The staff were buzzing and floating around serving food and cleaning tables with speed and ease with not a sign of duress or fluster. I opted for the ultimate Burger which despite the amount of diners the food arrived in under ten minutes hot and surprising tasty. After myself enduring 43 years in hospitality management What I can recognise is a well managed team of people who are motivated and trained well. So hats off to the management and the team here . I would thoroughly recommend the venue and hope the company also recognise this little gem.

We're a family of four, including two young children. When we're out and about on a weekend we'll often head to a Wetherspoons for food. Mainly because we always find something on the menu that our children will actually eat, without spending a fortune too. We headed to this Wetherspoons for the first time at the end of November, because we were heading to nearby shops to begin Christmas shopping. On approach into the building I was worried that it was going to be busy, as the small carpark was full, and there appeared to be people sat at every window table, but once inside I was pleasantly surprised. It was much more spacious than I was expecting and there were plenty of tables to chose from. We selected one by the fire. The staff were the friendliest staff I have encountered at a Wetherspoons, at least three different members of staff took the time to interact with my two children. Even the locals were friendly acknowledging our whole family too. The food was standard to Wetherspoons, happy as ever with no complaints. It seems the members of staff pride themselves in keeping the seating area, and even the toilets clean too. The decor was lovely, with the roaring fire in its central position being a lovely feature. We were so happy with the service here that we chose to return a week later, even though it meant taking a bit if a detour to where we were headed, this time.

We've been to 2 of these gin nights in the past and really enjoyed them. It's £15 a ticket and for this you receive 6 gins with mixers of your choice, a small booklet detailing the gins, a large bucket of ice, ample slices of orange, lemon and lime, a quiz on gin to win another gin and pizza and chips in the interval. What a BARGAIN! A great evening. But the latest one was a bit of a letdown. The room used is small with enough space for 3/4 tables, maximum 16 guests. When we arrived there were 8 tables pushed together with 2 groups, totalling 21 guests and no space for my wife and me. Lorna, the host, then took all the gins, mixers, glasses etc off the host's table and stacked them on the window ledge. Another 2 tables were brought in and placed in the centre of the room, blocking the entrance. Because of the number of guests the small room was awash with noise making it impossible to be heard unless you were shouting like everyone else. There was no booklet detailing the gins, no quiz, no chips with the pizzas and because of the noise we didn't know what the gins were. And each table received their gins in a different order. And it seemed that interlopers had arrived because other drinks and food were being ordered. The previous 2 occasions had been cosy, relatively quiet evenings with everybody enjoying sampling new gins, but this occasion was a raucous free for all. The organisers surely know how many tickets they have sold and how many people they can seat comfortably in the small area. If they want more people to attend these Gin nights, then they need a larger area to hold them. On previous occasions we felt that this was exceptional value for money but this last occasion was let down by poor planning.

We booked to do the gin night as we’d done this twice before and had a great time. This time was such a let down! Held in the “snug” where there is no room to swing a cat they had two long tables of about 10 on each and when we came they had to fit a table at the entrance practically blocking the entrance in and out. Fins were okay but not brilliant but no booklet to tell you what they were (they had that on previous occasions), average pizza but no chips and it was exceptionally noisy so you couldn’t hear what the host was saying. Everyone had the guns out of order so each table was uncoordinated. Hated the atmosphere tonight, too loud and very badly organised. Given it three stars which is generous, but three stars because we’ve enjoyed it in the past. If you sell 24 tickets you should make arrangements for tables to cover this amount and comfortably. Sad, because we normally love this event but it was terrible tonight. More thought to organisation next time please!

My fiancé and I popped in yesterday for a quick drink as we recently moved to the area . The bar is lovely and clean. The bar prices were really good and the bar tender was friendly & professional. We ordered our drinks and sat down outside . The beer garden is smashing. Two separate areas for smokers and non smokers. We appreciate that as we don't smoke . I ordered light bites...small chips and 8" garlic bread. We've ate in weatherspoons loads of times so know what you get. But this was something else. The pub wasn't busy but it took ages to come. When it come food was hot but the portion of chips was so small . A total of 8 frozen chips in total. Not great for £1.95. The garlic bread had no taste of garlic what so ever and resembled a nan bread. My fiancé and I are both chefs and know this isn't right. Based on this experience I wouldn't recommend people ordering food. I would encouraged people to visit the bar it's lovely.

We are new to the area and went in for a a quick drink. On first impressions it's one of the nicest wetherspoons I've been in. Lovely roaring fire on the go. The bar was clean, the staff were quick to serve and extremely polite and professional. We didn't eat, but the food we saw coming out of the kicthen looked nice. Toilets were very clean too. I think it might be a different story on evenings and weekends. We went in a quiet Tuesday evening round 4pm. We left just after 5pm and a large group of loud men was coming in. Seems the customers from the day are different from the night so unsure if I would visit in the evenings after 5/6. I certainly wouldn't bring children in after then. They have a large out door area with nice lights which would be lovely to sit in on a warm summers evening. All in all our experience was good.

Always call in here for breakfast on a Sunday. Quick cheap and easy. Only downside is there is very little parking. There have been a few times where we have had to park quite far away and walk back.

The Old Unicorn is a great pub with delicious food. Staff are always friendly. The interior is modern and bright compared to other Wetherspoons. Only criticism is the burgers as they are usually quite burnt.

He estado en un montón de pubs Wetherspoons, pero este es un pub muy grande con un montón de espacio. Tiene la comida habitual y menú de bebidas. Un montón de espacio exterior. Un lugar toda la familia puede ir.
