Really really lovely stay, the receptionist( was a trainee, can't remember your name sorry! Lovely man) was absolutely lovely and accomodated to all my needs, understood my train was at 3pm so extended my room check out to a further time! 🥰 would really reccomend the service here and the atmosphere is quite quaint. Looking forward to when renovations finish

The hotel was clean, modern, and well located for the railway station. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was broken, and there were no other rooms available for me to change. Reception did provide a fan though, but opening the window attracted a lot of unwanted noise from the adjacent railway station.

AVOID DUE TO THE SMELL. The service for a Hilton hotel is below par, there is a horrific sewerage/waste smell in the hotel reception/bar and restaurant area. The initial complaint was blamed on the “homeless people” by the staff. Our group complained numerous times and was never met with an apology but a promise of a ‘free’ breakfast that never happened.

Lovely hotel beautiful rooms great service But don't park your car in the car park it's a nightmare best to park in local ncp nearby Spaces too small and the turn to go up and down you need to do about 6 manoeuvres lucky to not scratch your car it needs demolishing

Chi the front desk agent was the highlight of our stay. She was very welcoming and very personable. She made us feel comfortable and valued. The rooms she assigned to us were excellent. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the gentleman that helped me get hot sauce. My apologies for not knowing his name. He was also the host that sat us down. Great stay and God bless!

Stunning hotel, myself and husband stayed in suite 1216 and what a lovely room it is. Very very clean. The size of the room was perfect. The bed was super comfy and we had a brilliant nights sleep. The bathroom was cute and cosy. The full room was modern and lovely. We would like to thank the staff at Hilton City Centre for making the room perfect, petals on the bed, balloons, flowers and drinks left in ice buckets. Also we’d like to give Olivia a mention who was working on the evening 18/5/24 in the restaurant. She had a welcoming smile and she was always busy, not once did she stand around, she was always on her feet and on the move, myself and my husband were impressed. The food in the restaurant was spot on. Restaurant was a nice relaxing area and clean. On the night we ordered pizza to our room, again pizza was delicious. The following morning we had breakfasts delivered to the room and it was so nice, good quality, perfect food. The only down side was the parking, parking lot seemed narrow when turning to go up or down to another level and was worried of hitting our car, however, luckily we got in and out just fine. We hope to visit again. Thank you so very much for a lovely stay.

For a HIlton Hotel this is probably just about on the OK side of things. Some of the staff are incredible, the girl on the desk called Samin who was just so good at her job, attentive and friendly, to the Barman team leader (who's name I didn't get) who made an absolutely fantastic Old Fashioned, Then there are the housekeeping staff who are friendly, welcoming and polite. There are some real stand out performers. And then there's everyone else, some a little rude and standoffish and that just brings the whole experience down. The location is fairly decent and a little harder to get to because of all the City Centre building works. And though they are renovating the reception area, the rooms are desperately in need of some regeneration too. Old outlets, carpets and worn and dated rooms with small screen tv's - a couple of examples of some of the decor below. It's a shame because you expect better from this brand and as I said, some of the staff are definitely pushing the brand name and representing very well, others are like the rooms....in need of a little polish.

I was unfortunate to stay at this hotel. Let me start by saying this is not down to the Staff, how they work there in such conditions is amazing. The bad bit now.. Smell of Raw Sewage as you enter the Foyer is just awefull and in the lifts also. I am also concerned that the Water in the hotel supply is also contaminated since my own flannel which I brought with me clean, stank of the sewage smell after use and rinse. Very concerned that I have showered and brushed my teeth using that water. I would never write a bad review for something or somewhere unless my findings were justified. Avoid this Hotel at all costs. Ps. I spoke with one of the reception staff and they admitted that there was a problem with the Canal behind the hotel and they approached the local Council but nothing has been done but I should be lucky its not Summer because it was worse at that time of year, which means it has been going on for some while.

Stayed here a dozen times but unfortunately the latest stay confirmed previous thoughts which were highlighted further. Stayed in the Kings suite yet this was very outdated, The room was 30 degrees (5 degrees outside!) whilst the air con was either extremely loud & very poor meaning me, my wife & 4 month old hardly slept. The cupboard doors were falling off, no fridge in the room & mattress springs were really poor, sounded like I was being catapulted each time I moved! Thats without getting into the state/size of the car park. What makes up for this is the brilliant service, great location & perfect breakfast however the tipping scale this time is they do not have a swimming pool anymore which sadly tips the scale towards any of either Crowne Plaza or Park Plaza as a much better, comfortable stay.

my worst experience with hilton leeds during my stay for 1 week. was never informed that there was a huge renovation taking place. went from Canada to Leeds to attend very close relative and came back to the hotel late night and the morning between 8am -9am the construction noise was terrible waking everyone up and was a very very bad disturbance and experience. A high end Hotel such as Hilton should inform their customers in advance about renovations and disturbances. Would kindly want this matter to be looked into since I would be coming back to leeds with family . we always stay with hilton in North America but this was the worst experience .

A good location for accessing the station and the city centre. Pleasant enough staff on check in but it must be a tough ask for them to justify the ask of customers and the rooms they are staying in... I would call this a 'travelodge plus' - slightly better than a travelodge but even a Premier inn would be better. There is some renovation work going on, much needed clearly and perhaps that might explain the reason why I couldn't watch anything on the TV on night 2, unless I wanted stuttering and blurred picture all night. Fortunately the breakfast offering was good and just about made up for an average stay. If it wasn't for this being a work paid trip, I wouldn't be happy with the cost of a room here for what it offered... oh, and booked a double but got 2 singles. Luckily travelling alone so not worth a trip back down to reception to grumble, but you should at least be provided with what you actually booked!

Horrendous car park! One part on a bend inside was sticking out and got Mt car stuck. It was damaged on my to to holiday. Apparently, it happens all the time. Don't recommend if driving as internal car park and couldn't park in disabled outside. Thank goodness it was only one night. Extremely disappointed.

Stayed here a few times as work have booked for me. I’ve now refused to stay here anymore. First off, there is no pool. So the images on google are incorrect. Arrived around midday and I accept checking times are often a little later but not before 3 wasn’t ideal. Not the biggest issue though. Was then told my room categorically didn’t include dinner. Went down expecting to pay for dinner only be told it was included. Again just poor comms between staff etc Then the room. Spacious. But air con didn’t work. I’m an engineer so know that the system will tell reception that it’s working fine but let me assure you, it wasn’t. Spent the night so cold I had the hair drier on in the room for an hour. I wasn’t going to move rooms as by the time I’d done that I’d never have got any sleep anyway. Breakfast average. Location - is the worst I’ve ever experienced!!! Absolute nightmare and NO WAY should lone women stay here…. I had to walk down black alleyways at night under train station to get here. It’s horrendous

The food quality is good but the service is poor and the restaurant is always cold. Drink prices are also extortionate, £3.50 for a 330ml bottle of Diet Coke which you can get at a shop for 90p. No soft drinks on draught either, so you have to pay for the small bottles.

Arrived around 1pm and room was ready. Greeted at the reception was swift. Room was average, despite a corner suite and view was awful at the back of the hotel. Despite this.room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very average, coffee was a machine, as was toast, and buffet wasn't overly good. Very few touches that said Hilton here really, and a poorer Hotel of its type. I was never fussed with being welcomed as a Diamond member, but there wasn't even a mention, not at reception/breakfast, nothing. Quite poor over-all.

Working locally for a couple of days so stayed at a place I’ve always felt welcome. Upgraded to a nice double suite and after a small check in problem, issues resolved. Room and facilities good and staff both friendly and professional. The current breakfast offer of wet tepid porridge, weak coffee and orange ‘sunny delight on steroids’ juice defies anything about the quality of the Hilton brand and maybe easier not to bother until service is resumed. The excellent team of Hayden, Katie and Charmaine are worthy of mention as nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend a stay, needs a little polish (and a new towel in my case) but hopefully post lockdown full quality will be restored.

We ate here for two nights. The quality of the food was very good and the menu was reasonably extensive. The service was quite slow on both nights even though the restaurant wasn't all that busy - probably too many room service and bar food orders.

Not been here for a while. Checked in yesterday and the receptionist was very helpful. Ate in the restaurant last night and the food was good and not expensive. The bar and restaurant staff very good. Would certainly stay here again. Rooms clean beds comfy everything a business or social customer could ask for.

After a great stay (and I orginally gave a 4 star rating) but then severely let down a few days later when discovering that the Hilton took 2 x 79GBP payments out of my account, Danny Archer (Event Coordinator) has given me at least some hope in finding out what is going in and acknowledged in my being pushed from pillar to pillar. Honesty with a customer reaps benefits / results with a customer. It's a shame not all Hilton employees are like that i.e. proactive and helpful. I now have faith in knowing that I will get some updates from this person even if it means nothing has been identified yet, but this is progress in my books in the line of Customer Service. At least Danny has give me reassurance that the problem will now be looked into, as opposed to speaking with a so-called 'Manager' called Katy Bradfield and other not-so-helpful colleagues at the Hilton who affected my perception of the overall Customer Service in being delivered. Well done to Danny Archer for at least trying to help. That's all I wanted.

Having stayed here earlier in July I was really pleased I decided to stay at the hotel again. My first visit left a little to be desired in the room which was a little hmmm. However the staff made the experience brilliant. The bar restaurant and reception staff we're fantastic. On this my second stay I met Nauri Janet Kirsty who greeted me so much and helped in any way they could demonstrating what I know to be the Hilton standard. The staff have again demonstrated such an outstanding effort they should be praised for all they do. I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you Nauri & Colleagues. Neil Preston

For a Hilton hotel, our lunch experience was absolutely dismal to say the least! Inexperienced staff, no cutlery offered! My son had to search empty tables for serviettes and condiments! A disappointing and bland meal. Enough said! We will not be back!

The restaurant area is not set up for a large function like a Christmas party. The dance floor is basically the ceramic tiled area in front of and behind the food service counters, a long way from the seating area. We were crammed onto tables like sardines even though the area is huge and mostly empty. We had to wait for the hotels guests to vacate the area before turning the lights down and putting music on to dance to, so were there 3 hours before we could dance Then were surrounded by staff setting up the area for breakfast. Music was terrible - not dance music. Food and staff were Ok. Very poor effort Hilton. Really disappointed

Because of a late arrival and some time to kill before moving on, I ate in the bar twice. The food is fine, but the service is slow beyond any acceptable measure. You'd definitely be better of walking back to Bishopsgate and eating there. Staff is adept at avoiding eye contact while you're waiting.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Leeds City Center on a business trip in March 2016. I was amazed to find that it was just a few steps outside of the central Leeds train station but it didn't have the "right next to the train station" stigma. It was clean and fairly modern. The staff was incredibly polite and friendly. My room was like an upgraded Holiday Inn but was comfy and clean. If I find myself in Leeds on business again, I'll definitely stay there.

Went for a work meeting. Sat down to nice salad buffet. Then up to the main counter for main - last mouthful of what was up to that point a tasty meat pie I pull a hair out of the food. My colleagues it couldn't be - as we are all bald! See photo....huge hair about 6 inches longShame as it would have been 4*

We are retired and use the swimming pool and cafe/restaurant every week. The facilities are very good and well maintained. More importantly the staff in both pool area and restaurant are always cheerful and extremely helpful. Service is prompt and efficient in pleasant surroundings. While this applies to all staff we have met, we would like to mention Martin in the restaurant area who has maintained high levels of service and has been very welcoming throughout the years we have been coming to the Hilton.

I stayed here overnight for a shopping trip to Leeds. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room clean and cosy. Only down side was that the dining room was cold which wasn't very pleasant for either dinner or breakfast. I would however not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

As a frequent business traveler to Leeds, I have had the ability to stay in several different hotels. The HIlton in Leeds provides nice conference facilities, but the rooms are subpar. Very outdated and not well kept. The pool facilities were very dirty.If you are a Hilton only traveler like myself, I would highly recommend you stay at the Double Tree by Hilton Leeds City Centre.

Fantastically situated! Right next to the train station, a very short walk into the centre of leeds and granary wharf - lovely and friendly staff, impeccably decorated and fantastic breakfast! We didn't have time to visit the spa facilities unfortunately so can't comment on the standard but if it was like the rest of the hotel we missed out! Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

I brought my mother to this Hilton hotel for her birthday and the wonderful staff had placed a happy birthday cake in the room for her ... Prior to entering our room which wasn't ready on time we were offered by fantastic staff a complimentary drink ( we enjoyed the wine) rooms lovely and clean beds comfy ... Window very noisy to open ... But service through out was fantastic, this morning for breakfast I went over to the extremely pleasant and smilie chef to request he cook some veggie sausages for me please and to my amazement they were already prepared ... I stay in hotels several times 10+ a year and have never had my veggie breakfast already there waiting to be served like meat eaters do ... Extremely impressed and so nice to be able to eat at the same time as everyone else ( a first and super impressed) thank you hilton, although the spa facilities were a little cold for my liking they were very clean and most enjoyable x

Using the pre-paid vouchers, purchased on arrival for £10 per person per day, was good value. A 3 course burger meal with only a bottle of water at £39 in my room (including a £5 tray charge) was less so in my opinion.

10 of us had lunch here for a colleagues 60th birthday. The Staff laid on a lovely table with balloons tied to the chairs and we all enjoyed a sandwich with crisps/chips and salad or soup and a crusty roll.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night for our anniversary. Having children we usually opt for value, being on our own we decided to splash out and treat ourselves. In all honesty the rooms at a premier inn would have been bigger, cleaner and at times at least a third of the price. Central location is good staff were friendly and very helpful and breakfast was nice but bar was overpriced so didn't use it, car park charged extra to expensive room, room had dirty hand marks all over the wall and I cleaned the shower head before use because it was blocked up with orange scum! What you get extra compared to premier inn....free wifi...that's it! I would stay here for position but only if I got the room in a sale or there was no where cheaper! Just average and for over £100 I want a bit more than average!

Last night there were old pupils reunion having 3 course dinner in the banquet. We found a bit disappointed because the starter was good full of flavour, then main course we had chicken with duchess potatoes and 3 asparagus on the dinner plate and found few people were complaining one of them is my husband that the chicken were not cooked properly, so the waiter took them back, sadly a couple had quiche instead of. Then the dessert was okay but my husband had fruit salad with ice cream, sure the chef was not aware about the gluten free meal, the money was not good value for that. Bottle of wine cost £20 on top of that!!!!!! There were about 85 guests sitting

Traditional British breakfast at an affordable price. Bacon was great. Everything else is just as what you would expect. Store prefers to take cash. They also have lots of sandwich / burger options that I would love to go back and try. Coffee could have been better and overall cleanliness of the place & utensils could also be improved.

We have been here a good several times. The food is always delicious and to a high quality. The service is exceptional and the staff are truly delightful and a return visit is a must.
