Started using this shop when High Lane Oatcakes changed hands and the quality dropped. I have to say I will be using this shop from now on. Oatcakes are spot on for me, as are the pikelets. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The go-to place for Oatcakes. I would recommend anyone to try for yourselves.

Hot and fresh, the breakfast food of Stoke-on-Trent. If you prefer the softer oatcake then this place does not disappoint. There is parking down the street, although is close to the hospital, but should be able to find a parking spot even at busy times. Service is via the window at the moment, and orders are given out over the railing. However, unfortunately it means there is little in the way of coverage from the rain, but service is fast even with the freshly cooked hot food and you can still see the oatcakes being made. Hot food is served on a paper plate, in a paper bag. The staff were helpful and friendly. A good local for oatcakes.

Finest Oatcakes in the Potteries. We have had our oatcakes and pikelets from JB for years, even before, from their previous premises. Living away from the area we can't visit as often as we'd like, but we make sure to stock up for the freezer when we're nearby. Definitely recommended.

After ordering three oatcakes I got to my workplace and opened the packet there were only two in , the bacon was All fat and most of that ended up in the bin , the cheese wasn’t to pleasant either ,also as I stood outside the amount of hand washing by the staff preparing food was non existent, avoid this place like the plague,rank

I came in and was greeted really nicely, I tried the bacon and cheese oatcakes for the first time, they're so good! Warm & they looked good. Taste similar to crepes. Even better, can have nutella ones for dessert :D Would recommend this place.

I'm from Birmingham .. tryed oatcakes for the first time as my partner would no. Stop go on about them! I really don't know what the fuss it about and pancake with out sugar with cheese is the middle is really not that nice

I was born and brought up in Sneyd Green, now live in Bedfordshire, but still love oatcakes and frequently travel up to Stoke to get a shipping order of oat cakes for me, friends and the family. Oatcakes from JB are well worth the visit, and staff could not be more friendly and helpful.

The oatcakes are delicious from here, very thin and light so tasty. The very very best!! Located opposite the Haywood Hospital.

Quality of j b oatcakes is good been eating them for years and been byeing them from leek market. But today I was around where they are made so called in and wished I hadn’t .Staff unfriendly which is is very unlike stokes.purchased 3 dozen oatcakes and two hot oatcakes with bacon and mushrooms which my wife and I took one bite and threw the rest away.

I only buy JB Traditional oatcakes as they suit me completely, not too thick and not too thin. Half a dozen, when stored in the fridge, will be still fresh at the end of a week, as at the start.

Since the hole in the wall went years ago thus is by far far the best oatcake in the area now and trust me ive bin lots of shops. The fillings are lovely but the plain oatcakes are that nice they can be eaten just on there own

El personal es el norte de Inglaterra, capital oatcake cada ciudad y la mayoría de las aldeas tienen una tienda/panadería oatcake y los productos de rango de muy bueno a excelente, no hay tal cosa como un mal oatcake! Sin duda JB tortas están entre los mejores que están disponibles, el sabor es de primera clase, así como la relación calidad-precio! La panadería en sí está impecablemente limpio, el personal es muy amable y bien vestido y es un placer visitar y ver en su lugar de trabajo, puedo recomendar este excelente producto y una vez probado se convertirá en una compra regular.

J B Oatcakes make beautiful thin oatcakes which go down a treat with various fillings, bacon and cheese being my favourite warmed through on my cast iron skillet at home. Very clean premises and by far my favourite oatcake shop in my area.

I'm never going to buy oatakes anywhere else from now on! They're lovely! And the kids agree! Quite fussy about them and only brought the ones from morrisons or tesco.. (tried other oatcake shops and can't stand poveys oatcakes) so I'm glad to have found this shop and it's a mile away from me! Winner!

There has never been anything wrong with the oatcakes or the fillings but, i've worked in funeral parlour's with more life in them and i think a member of staff eating a packet of crisps while handling the product is not good food hygiene.

JB Oatcakes are the best I have ever tasted. Just delicious. The shop is immaculate and the staff are friendly and helpful. A wonderful family business. Turn off High Lane into Haywood Road, pass the entrance for the Haywood Hospital and they are a little further down the road on the left. Excellent takeaway service and freshly baked oatcakes. Prices are reasonable and you won't be disappointed - I never have been.
