Foleys oatcakes are the best I've tried from anywhere in Stoke on Trent. I am from Derby however used to be in Stoke a lot and totally fell in love with oatcakes, so much so that I used to have them most days..bad I know. I've had them from multiple places however non quite match up to these treats. Even something as simple as bacon and cheese in them are beautiful but please add items to your own preference.

If your a proper stokie don’t come here guaranteed a dissapointment. Oatcakes terrible and the cheapest meat ever! Not even cooked! If you do decide to risk it ... good luck to you...

Oatcakes from this shop are always nice, with nice fillings, I always prefer going here (in the Longton area) than other competitors.

We visited Foley oatcakes this morning and had a variety of oatcakes to feed the tribe and the wife with it being Mother’s Day. We all enjoyed the food, very nice indeed. We will be visiting again. :-)

I can't argue that the oatcakes are excellent but DONT order a breakfast. The whole lot was cold , cheap sausages( one side burnt ) and tomatoes used, hard eggs and cold tinned mushrooms. Complete waste of £8 ( 2 breakfasts )

Called to collect some oatcakes abysmal attitude rude and arrogant if they weren't one of the best oatcakes in Stoke certainly would not recommended based on their Customer Service skills.

I was driving through the area and saw this and as a stokie you can always rely on a good oatcake to get you through, however the service was disgusting and the oatcakes themselves were not very nice, shame really as they are a Stoke thing and I could have been from outside of the area.

I have to say we regularly buy our oatcakes from here a lot of oatcakes are far to salty, or far to thick for our taste these are just right, but like other reviewers have said the service could be better, there use to be a young girl who worked there and she always had a smile and a friendly word she left some months ago and since then there have been a few a staff come and go but customer service is far from their mind, this is a great shame as the oatcakes are great.

Very strange experience both times I've gone. No smile when greeted, very unwelcoming staff and the oatcakes themselves are the worst I've had from a proper oatcake shop. If you're looking for a good oatcake then there is the one around the corner on Victoria rd or the one on the roundabout in Normacot. Quality oatcakes and staff are always cheerful.

Foley Oatcakes are, for me and my family, the perfect version of this local delicacy. We have sampled oatcakes all over the area and finally settled on Foley Oatcakes as the best we have ever tasted. They also have a very convenient selling outlet within Longton Market, which makes life even easier. Top marks !

Having grown up in the potteries I recall the oatcake man coming around on a Sunday morning on a bike, dad would give me the money to go and buy half a dozen - best breakfast of the week.I now live in the South and have done for over 45 years, so when the opportunity presents itself I buy oatcakes on my trips North, and have found Foleys the best for taste and texture, and nice people as well.Have a number of converts in the South who wait for my trip North. Thanks Foleys.

Oatcakes are a secret that folks in the Potteries keep to themselves for some reason. Five of us visited the Gladstone Pottery museum today and we dropped in to Foley's as I promised the group a new tasty experience. I don't think they believed me as I raved about oatcakes until they had tasted them -so good! We returned to Nottingham with three dozen!

My first experience of an oatcake shop was at 7:30 this morning when I ordered a cheese and bacon single, it was so good I went back for a second one half an hour later! Great Food, bargain prices and very nice staff. It was also interesting to watch the oatcakes being made in the back of the shop , while I was waiting for mine to be cooked.

We found ourselves here desperate for food after a long day enjoying the fabulous Alton Towers fireworks. The fish was excellent and the chips were good (though a little large for our tastes). Service was friendly and welcoming. Plaice (ahem) is cash only but conveniently they also have a cash machine offering free withdrawals. Incidentally whilst we were there two people dropped their food all over the floor. We were beginning to suspect it was some sort of local custom. Whatever, it provided entertainment whilst we dined in.
