I ordered from Jasmines this evening at 20:04 and didn’t receive our food until over 2.5hrs later. I rang the first time after an hour, was told 15 minutes. Rang again, he would be 2 minutes and the person on the phone hung up. We waited another 25 minutes for delivery to arrive and the food was cold. 0 customer service skills and not even one apology for the fact we finally sat down to eat 22:50

I ordered mutton and veg Koththu food very bad , no taste, mutton was very old, They don't know how to cook srilankan food , and restaurant food hygiene very bad , I have 25 years Chef Experience in UK , please avoid this place

I already have ordered twice from this restaurant. As far i enjoyed their food. But today i reached their at 10:45 pm for lamb curry. The gentleman from the kitchen has told me:)- it is the time to close how can i help you?? I asked him a spicy lamb curry. He gave me within 10 minutes showing his anger and undiciplinary act. It is very very very extremely spicy so I couldn’t ate that. I promise that i never be back and I don’t recommend anybody here. The chef got angry with my order. Crazy spicy i got. I feel i waste my £20. This restaurant goes hell .

Chef was extremely rude.. We ordered spicy lamb.. chef simply put red chilli powder on top...(sweet gravy...Boiled lamb.. red chili powder) ..don n dusted

The delivery guy in the red car had delivered the food on time and he was just awesome and humble indeed..!! The food was not too bad nor too good. But the way the delivery person communicated was good!! Very nice customer service Jasmine Restaurant has..!!

I would give no stars if i could. Ordered at 6.20 i know it was sat night so expected a wait. The food came at 9pm. The guy on the phone keot promising me 4-5 mins itll be there and was rude. The driver was walking up and down my street with it, couldnt find my house, the houses are all numbered and i was standing on my step cos the restaurant told me he was in my street. The food was cold and not very nice, i only ordered from here because i used to love the red onion chutney, that went in the bin it was just very salty. Never ordering from here again

Ordered popadoms none delivered. Mango,mint and Red onion dips tasteless. Onion bahgies dry as a bone and Garlic Naan was plain. Curry was ok and rice also. Just won’t use them again

I ordered a takeaway from here and I started to dish it out and found out there was no korma, as soon as I released I phoned the driver and he said to phone the restaurant so I did and they were very adamant they put it in and they were not gonna send it to me, so I phoned the driver again and explained what they said he was very nice and understanding and said he would sort it but after not hearing back in a while I rung the restaurant that tried to resolve this but the women over the phone just was not nice and I was told ‘what is wrong with you’ I work in hospitality myself and this customer service was appalling! Nice food but don’t expect it all to come!

Ordered online, takeaway was not even made when calling half an hour after delivery time. Cancelled order and got no refund. Never again.

They don’t even deserve the 1 star. Ordered food then TWO hours later they told us they can’t deliver because it’s BUSY & DONT have drivers!

I ordered from this restaurant today and instead of informing me they were cancelling the order due to bad traffic, they left it an hour before I had to call which is when they informed me they were cancelling the order. Terrible service.

We entered just before closing time and requested a challenging, almost indecently spicy curry: instead, what we received was the most beautiful, multifaceted, carefully- crafted gastronomic experience that one could hope for. I cannot articulate my pleasure and delight with the service. I cannot recommend highly enough

What with visiting regulations and covid it’s been a while since we used Jasmines as an extended family. Five adults and one teenager got a variety of mild to medium curries, naans and poppadoms with dips. The red onion relish dip was lovely as were the curries. Delivered hot and on time.

Incredible food, and don’t let the simple decor fool you. Our group of six ordered takeaway in person and was served by two lovely people. The waiting time for the food was very reasonable. We had a range of meat, fish and veggie meals and each one was outrageously good. One member of our party felt that his ‘tastebuds had grown more tastebuds’. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and it’s top of my list to return to when I’m next in Liverpool.

The best meal I’ve ever had in my 34 years on this earth. If you’re in Liverpool, stop what you’re doing & go there immediately.

Ordered food tonight ordered madras and korma came which was horrible. Rang them up they said would call back. They didn't ring back but later turned up with meal they said we could swap it with other one which was in the bin. Last deliveryvrice didn't turn up. When you ring them you can't hear what they say

Used this takeaway for a few years but last 2 times there was rice missing and got a korma instead of a madras. Very disapponting and wont be using them again.

Worst experience!! Ordered Indian curry’s from this hotel and all we got was old mutton pieces wrapped in beet root gravy...

The food ordered and collected was so tasty and fresh, definitely worth the money as the portions were quite big and they weren’t stingy with the meat like most places are. An absolute must try if you are in Liverpool looking for authentic Sri Lankan food.

Thought I would give this place a try and was disappointed. Paid 80p each for two chutneys and the tubs were tiny with a miniscule amount in them and not enough for one poppadom never mind two. What a rip off! The mixed kebab at £5.50 was a joke with very little meat and the salad in the warm tub which made it soggy. The rhogan josh tasted of absolutely nothing but salt with very little chicken. The bread was a pancake that should have come with syrup. The rice was not too bad but this is by far the worst Indian meal I have ever had the misfortune to order. Have complained to Just Eat. Give this place a miss

Making our order and receiving our delivery was very good. I didn't quite understand why ordering poppadoms and accompanying chutney trays where separated. The consequence of this meant that we never had enough chutney for 4 poppadoms. Customer service tip number 1- when a customer spends £39 on a take-away for 2 you make sure that they have enough chutney for their poppadoms. The marinated chicken and lamb in the mixed kebabs were extremely salty. The sauce for the lamb rogan josh was extremely salty too. My wife also said that the chicken korma was very sweet. The moral of this story is--the Indian take-away that we normally order from has never offered delivery. We were lazy because it was Valentine's night. There is a very good reason why the Indian we have gone to for years doesn't do deliveries--they are that good that they don't need to do deliveries.

We don't usually order from here but we decided to give it a go the other night. We placed our order through uber eats and waited the time recommended for it to come within, in which we did receive our food. However, we believed there to be something missing from our order so we called to restaurant and the second the phone was answered we were met with a very aggressive toned man who was swearing at us before we even said why we were calling; with both of us working in fast food we understand the stress of busy periods but we also understand how pivotal it is to treat customers with respect, explain the situation and answer any questions they may have in a polite manner. It is safe to say that although we enjoyed the most of the food you have lost our custom for the future. Please give your staff some training in customer service and general manners!

We placed our order for food at 5:30pm through just eat and was told delivery would be 7pm however our order arrived at 8pm. I tried to call numerous times and was answered then hung up on then, user busy for the next 30 minutes, delivery is terrible! Food was lovely, however they missed 1 item of our order. Won't be ordering from there again. I would advise you to avoid if you are wanting food for the estimated time or go and collect it yourself.

Good Indian and srilankan dishes.. Delivery is awful.. should wait atleast 1-2 hrs more than expected delivery time..

After waiting for the food delivery 30 minutes longer than expected, my husband called the restaurant to ask if everything is ok with the order. They initially hung up twice after a few words, and then answered in a very rude tone and started blaming him that his phone isn't working. (The phone he was calling from). Then the person said they left the food at the building reception. To top this off, the tikka masala was absolutely inedible and the roti tasted identically to a cheap store-bought tortilla. A complete social and culinary disaster. I will make sure to avoid this restaurant with a long radius. Once was more than enough.

Food items missing from our order. Paratha's were as hard as bricks! They literally crunched and crumbled in your han. You could not chew them they were too hard. Called the restaurant. 3rd time we've had problems with our orders. Last time the food was raw. The time before the food was burnt to a cinder! Now this. We were begged not to go to review sites the first and second time, but we will never order again from them after this 3rd time! Disgusting!

I get a lot of deliveries from jasmines food is fab .staff are brilliant . I always get chicken tikka starter with rice chips and madras curry sauce it's fab really tasty .

Food is good but delivery is an absolute joke. Always add at least an hour onto expected preparation and delivery time. This is the second time I've waited over 2 hours for delivery (expected was 45-55 mins, they just keep adding time on). Won't be ordering again!

We enjoyed the set menu for £24 but would've preferred one pilau and one basmati and one lamb bhuna and one chicken instead of 2 of the same the chutney and mint dips with poppadums where nice and chicken tikka nice but no dessert

Every mouth full is a total pleasure, I cannot reccomed this place highly enough. They care about their food and it shows, good quality meat and vegetables and the best samosa I have ever had.

Excellent takeaway! Friendly owner, impeccable service, very reasonable prices for huge portions - we had enough for 2 meals! I highly recommend trying the Sri Lankan specialities. Chef can adjust to your toleration for heat - everything we had was DELICIOUS - fresh, spiced in complex ways, fragarant. Do not miss!

I would highly recommend Jasmine to anyone. The food is served piping hot and fresh.. I ordered a mixed kebab and it was very tasty with different spices I really enjoyed it. Food was ready on time when I went to collect it and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food.

The best all round authentic indian food me and my family have ever tasted friendly staff and quality foods! Being of a bengali background I would like think my opinion is highly valued.. Therefore do try this hidden gem 'it's that good!' A true representation of Liverpools restaurant trade.

Came from a small village in Bedfordshire to watch the game Liverpool vs Cardiff city and was let down big time by Indian take away called Anmol through just eat who took our money without refund and did not deliver our food! So ended up with a very upset wife and 2 extremely hungry kids.. went on to order from the Jasmine and was well worth the wait as it was some of the best food I have ever tasted! Being of a Bangladeshi background and knowing what a curry should authentically taste like, I can truly confirm the service and quality of food was out of this world! So thanks to the staff and chef at the Jasmine who are genuinely curry legends in my honest opinion!! Keep it up...

Very tasty food at a reasonable price

Jus had a meal from this place and it was fit. So fit infact I wanted to shove my d**k in it. My girl had a chicken corma which was also amazing this one I did shove my d**k in.

Placed an order and waited an hour and a half after they said it would take 40 minutes.When the food came it was greasy and cold.I rang the shop and they offered me a free curry.I told them no chance and would not be ordering from them again.

Were very kind and helpful when unsure of what to have and let me do a taster to help me decided :) highly recommend this place. Good first impression will definitely be going again.

Okay. If you are anywhere near Townsend Lane, Liverpool you have to stop in at Jasmine's. The curry is absolutely amazing. I am not kidding it is that good. Also the samosas are just scrumptious. To top it all off their prices are so reasonable that you almost feel guilty paying so little. Great place to eat!!!!

Absolutely love this takeaway. Lamb Bhuna and Rogan Josh are delicious. Lamb just falls apart. Very tasty meals. Pilau rice and garlic naan are great accompaniments too. Food still hot on delivery. Recommended.

Horrible customer service. They sent the wrong order and when I called them and informed about it the owner said that they are too busy. He said that he will return the money but they never did. They didn’t even bother to take responsibility.

Encontramos este restaurante cuando google restaurantes de Sri Lanka y fuimos anoche. Pedidos de cebolla chuletas de cordero, bhaji, Sri Lanka Ceylon, curry de pollo, arroz y watalappam casi una hora antes de que nos fuimos. Nos sirvieron inmediatamente. La comida era absolutamente para morirse, las porciones eran grandes y el precio era muy razonable. Soy de Sri Lanka que no cocinan en Sri Lanka y en el cielo, recordando de cocina de mi madre. Sólo ten en cuenta que no está en la mejor de las áreas y es de ninguna manera un restaurante pijo. Pero no importa! Sin duda volveré a pesar de que es un poco de caminata desde donde yo vivo.
