Jasmine Inn in Nottingham

I read the negative reviews and I totally disagree with them. This Chinese takeaway is lovely. The rice and noodles spot on. Mushroom curry was really good. Spare ribs fantastic. Food not greasy and not too salty. Those leaving bad reviews are wrong and just spiteful and mostly are cos of a third party delivery service being cr*p. The foods great.

i had the "crispy" duck and "crispy" seaweed. the duck was soggy, absolutely nothing crispy about it and it was full of tendon and bone. the seaweed was also soggy and stale. i refuse to believe any of this food was fresh and i wont be ordering from here again

Ordered several times from here since coming to uni and it always arrives before the predicted Uber time and tastes lovely. It’s also great affordability on a student budget. Thank you so much to the staff you’ve done yet another good job tonight

food was rubbish went in the bin every thing was brut had no flavor shoking will never use again

Always excellent food. I always receive a lovely, friendly welcome on collection. And I've never, in 11 years, had a meal from the Jasmine Inn, that I didn't enjoy. It always hit mark. Well done folks 👍🏼

missing curry sauce what was paid for pancake rolls was like just batter with very little inside and beef in Blackbean sauce mite aswell have been called green pepper in Blackbean sauce said will be delivered at 7.55 came at 7.15 and was just left at the door driver nowhere to be seen

chips hard and over cooked like they've been reheated several times

Chicken curry was horrible rice was stuck together. Wasn't keen on the noodles either must be one of the worst Chinese iv had in Nottingham wont be ordering from here again ordered from uber eats and I'll be complaining and showing pictures. Save your money don't go here everything is dry saying it was another takeaway it certainly was from jasmin iv even got the order receipt so don't try that one ? What i recieved was disgusting I advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs.

We ordered 2 single meals and there should have been 6 chicken balls in each, when it arrived there was only 5 in each. Check your meal before they leave if you can, too late when they have gone. That order was 3/1/25

The most disgusting Chinese I have ever ordered, the food was dry, cold and inedible. I called the restaurant as soon as I received the order- which also had items missing- and the woman who answered the phone called me a liar! A waste of £40 to throw food away, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY- update- the morning after I wrote this review I found my partner had been up all night with food poisoning. Thankfully Uber refunded us- all could have been avoided.

When the food arrived, the rice had an unbearable smell, as if it had gone off. It was also rock hard, making it completely inedible.

Ordered from Jasmine Inn a few days ago and we were really impressed with the tastiness of the food, it was really lovely! It arrived promptly too. Will definitely be ordering again.

The beef wasnt even cut properly. Left in huge chunks that take 3-5 bites to eat.

Thankyou for restoring my faith in Chinese takeaways the king prawn fried was lovely wasnt just boiled rice with rice like some takeaways I have ordered from. The veggie pancake role was crispy and not greasy or over fried and dry. Lovely TY!

Another delivery that cannot find our front door

I ordered online. The delivery time was good and that's about it. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The food was dry (no sauce in the two beef chow meins), same with the sweets and sour shredded chicken. The eggs fried rice was ok and the chicken in black bean sauce was alright. The temperature of the food was warm. All in all, I will not order from Jasmine Inn again.

Couldn’t find my student accommodation, it was raining so walked all around to find him and I didn’t get my drink so i don’t know if I get consideration for that.

only thing is I didn't get my chicken in sauce got ribs instead

Food came nearly an hour and half late, was freezing cold so had to warm everything up which made everything soggy. Couldn’t get in contact with the restaurant to question where my order was. Ordered via uber eats and did a review on there and only got £3 off my next order despite my order being over £30 and as a uni student that’s a lot of money to spend on something that didn’t taste nice and also had bad service.

Excellent hot food and the chicken portion in the chicken curry was amazing..Delivery driver was very polite and cheerful. Would highly recommend Jasmine Inn for great service.

Normally really good quality. But tonight both King Prawn dishes tasted off & the Omelette was dry. Might have been a one off. But would like the restaurant to know.

On visiting Nottingham we decided to have a Chinese. So order from here . Very hot tasty good value and friendly staff even helped us with forks and bowls so we could eat it .lots of meat beautiful meal thankyou.

Only Chinese we ever use perfect every time

Been using Jasmine in for many years without a problem and this is without doubt the worst chinese we have ever had. At nearly 70 pounds also. Terrible. The curry sauce was congealed like its from yesterday. Cannot describe how dry it was.

Spare ribs are malnourished and don’t give much meat on main dish, more or less just a bowl of rice. Never again.

Fast delivery and food quality is great

Order arrived on time. Unfortunately it was cold and this time the taste of the food was poor. Only half was eaten,as the quality did not live up to the usual standard. Very disappointing.

The food wasn’t great,it looked and tasted like it had been reheated from the night before,it certainly wasn’t fresh to say that the restaurant had only just opened,food was delivered just after 6pm so should of been super fresh and piping hot!

Was let down by “lucky house Chinese” as waited 2 hours for food to be cancelled! So glad we chose Jasmine Inn as a replacement!! Now our Number #1

not as good tonight 😕 the soup was nice and the spring rolls but the green pepper and black bean sauce tasted vingery and way too many black beans.

Had a take out. Ordered chicken chowmien, chips, chicken balls, beef fried rice & beef honey garlic. Chowmien could’ve had more veg and was abit fry but still was lovely. Chicken balls were smaller than expected but still yum. The beef in both dishes were so tender and delicious- definitely recommend. Free prawn crackers were lovely too. Fab portion sizes and easy to collect

Terrible Extremely poor quality Soggy undercooked crap

Had to bin the lot. Discusting food. Chips were stale, mixed balls were gooey, wondering dragon was watery, chewy meat and soggy vegetables. Very disappointing as 20 quid is a lot of money for me and couldn't eat the food

It’s now Tuesday and I’m not feeling any better food was hardly warm, curry sauce was more like a pot of jelly. Honestly was awful!

finaly a Chinese that actually has CRISPY deep fried beef. every other Chinese has been chewy or soft. everything else was great, tasted fresh and came fast and hot!100% ordering again

Ive ordered from here a few times and always been nice. Last night we ordered and the food was delivered cold. Al i spent a lot of money and i thought we might of got free prawn crackers but we got the smallest back ive ever seen with abot 10 cracker

order never arrived, even when they accepted it. proceeded to call the restaurant with no answer. never got my food, absolutely awful service.

Me personally I've never had problems with ordering at Jasmine. The food is delicious, hot, and tastes soo good. Its always delivered in a timely fashion too. I don't always take the time to leave a review cause I'm generally cba most times but the reviews here I don't think are a true testament of the restaurant. While I can't argue other peoples experiences this def hasn't been mine and I order almost all the time

Perfect quarter duck. Not very shredded but great as it is. Very fresh. Highly recommend collecting your order as it looks pretty busy.

Waited over an hour for a £30 order only for our order to be cancelled with no explanation. The order never even left the store and nobody ever tried to call us let alone attempt delivery. All of our details (address and phone number) are correct, never had an issue before, and we ordered from elsewhere afterwards and they managed to deliver with no issues

Our new go to for a great Chinese meal. The chips were a little soggy, however, the food was hot when delivered. The portion size was great, and everything was just full of flavour. Nice chap that delivered it too. Will definitely be back next time we want a chinese again. Many thanks :)

didn't show up after over 2h and phone box was full so I couldn't contact them

Generally so disappointing, we have ordered from here often and typically it is okay. However, today it came freezing cold, the food came so cold that the curry sauce came congealed and came out in clumps. Some how the coke came completely warm. We ordered the mix starter which was meant for two people, and it came all thrown in and mixed together meaning it all taste the same and was messy, and then most of the items only had enough for one portion. Ordered salt and pepper chips which came completely bland and tasted like they had been sat on the side for ages. Tried to resolve this with Uber and no help as per usual £40 complete down the drain, took a few mouthfuls and ended up not eating it.
