Japes in Greenwich

Their pizza is iconic and incredibly tasty. I’ve been to both locations in Soho and Greenwich and both are nice however I feel the location jn Greenwich is bigger/more spacious. We came here on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn’t peak time busy compared to when I went to Soho but the service was quick and Louie ( apologies if I butchered your name) took very good care of us. Highly recommend! :)

Really liked their deep dish pizzas. Pizzas are juicy and flavourful. Far better than regular pizzas. Highly recommended.

In the middle of Greenwich, This business doesn’t take Amex payments. They think customers have to have visa, Mastercard or cash with them in 2024. The staff is rude too. They honestly think it makes sense not to accept Amex, for the sake of 1 or 2% percentage…

I tried Chicago-style pizza for the first time, and I found it pretty nasty! Despite being a cheese lover, it had way too much cheese and was too greasy for me. You can try it just for the experience or if you’re in the mood for something super greasy. It’s definitely better to share it.

London based pizzas are amazing! We live locally and been a few times Make sure you are starving when you go, as the pizzas are large and very filling Would highly recommend

This was a great way to spend national pizza day, pizzas are top tier. Go light on the starters and enjoy the huge delicious and filling pizzas. Will definitely be back!

Came here to try some deep dish pizza but was ultimately disappointed with the food. The first few bites were fine but by the end, it became very sickly. When condisering how much you pay for this, I just can't recommend it.

Lovely spot, fantastic friendly service. Pizza was a bit of a let down but probably just personal preference…way too much cheese and was just a bit tasteless! Wanted to try Japes for such a long time after seeing it on social media, so I’m glad I came but wouldn’t come again.

Lovely customer service and food arrived at our table quickly! Pizza was tasty but unfortunately couldn’t eat all of it, however, the team were kind enough to give us a takeaway box to take the leftovers home.

The Manager Luke was amazing! We showed up 90 minutes early for our table and he couldn’t do enough! Seated us, we had to move half way through (which we knew before sitting down) and even then he was apologetic and moved all our stuff! To top it.. the Pizza was AMAZING! I had the Chicago and my bf had the picanti and honestly one of the best pizza’s I’ve had, go London Style.. the rest of the staff were amazing, really polite and lovely! If you’re in London this one is not to be missed!

Great pizza and the potatoes they do with the rosemary on were unreal! Ranch dip also 10/10. The only thing we said was there were a few too many toppings on my one (truffle pizza) so the middle went soggy very quickly. However the crust was amazing.

A beautifully cooked pizza, in a novel style! Moist and full of ingredients, this pizza was amazing! Yes, it's quite thick - but the dough is light as a feather! Friendly and welcoming staff topped off the experience. Recommended!

We went to the newly opened branch for dinner last night and it was wonderful! Our server was lovely, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Was a little expensive considering the size of the pizza (£15) but a nice treat.
