Esta vez he de decir que la comida fue un poco decepcionante. Conocía muy bien este restaurante en Belsize de un viaje anterior donde comidos y cenamos muchos días, pero esta vez pese a que la atención ha sido buena, los sabores no son los mismos que en el viaje anterior. Es como que han bajado calidad y sabores, no pareciéndose tanto a la comida española. Por eso la vuelta a este local ha sido algo decepcionante. Y los calamares no se parecen en nada a los calamares ricos que hacían antes en este local, ya verlos te quitaban las ganas de comerlos

Nice location close to the Phoenix Theatre - it was a lovely day so we sat outside in the courtyard in the sunshine. The food was generally good - portion size tapas - Lomo al Roquefort (pork in cheese sauce) was surprisingly large as it came with chips, more like a meal than a plate of tapas. The Delicias de Bacalao (cod in batter) was ok but the batter was a little soft and spongy. The Ensalada de Halloumi was good as was the Garlic bread with Cheese. The Tinto de Verano was a little weak, seemed more like lemonade and not much red wine. The four dishes were more than enough food for the two of us. At £55 including the service charge and two beers we thought the meal good value.

Such a great find! The food was delicious, especially the baked goats cheese on crisps! Random, but it tasted so good! Impressed by the amount of vegetarian choices too.

Good quality of food, nice environment and really good job of all the waiters, in special Yzan! Really hard worker!

La tortilla española (tortilla de patatas) esta muy cuajada. Pero el servicio es perfecto. Las croquetas estaban muy buenas

Superb authentic Spanish Tapas in an unassuming venue. Service was incredibly quick and attentive. From ordering 6 dishes between 2 to leaving the restaurant for the theater took less than an hour. Highly recommended.

Food was pretty awful except desserts which were quite nice. Place was also cold and needed a very good clean.

Wow, what a find! Authentic Spanish tapas restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. The tapas dishes were absolutely delicious. Would love to go back there.

We were looking for a Spanish restaurant near by. We made the booking and we arrived 15 min late. The service was outstanding by a nice girl and Juan. We really enjoyed the dinner and the atmosphere. The food was very good. We had pulpo and manchego croquettes (soo tasty) and small mix paella. We recommend this place!

My friend and I had an amazing time! The food and the service is fantastic. There affordable prices as well. We'll definetly come back soon.

Mah, leggendo le altre recensioni mi sono detto "Dai, dove la mangi una paella quando torni a Venezia?"... e così ho approfittato finchè ero a Londra per levarmi la voglia. Grosso sbaglio!!! Io non so dove gli altri recensori abbiano mai mangiato la paella in vita loro, ma questo era un risotto scotto condito male.... e in effetti ci hanno messo 40 minuti per riuscire a scuocerlo, bollire a morte il pesce e mummificare le cozze ei gamberi. Non so se era peggio quello o il vino zuccherato con le mele che ti scodellano al posto della sangria. Direi che se vuoi giocare al ristorante etnico, dovresti avere delle carte migliori in mano.

Fabulous Spanish restaurant serving very tasty tapas treats. Reasonably priced. Two of us shared Dates stuffed with nuts and wrapped in bacon, roasted and served in a sticky sherry syrup. Mixed salad Platter of Serrano and cheese. Delicious. Very near the Dominican theatre and Palace Theatre. On the day we went it was cash only.

We were going to the theatre and wanted something light to eat. My daughter is a vegetarian and doesn’t really eat a lot of carbs do Mexican or Italian wasn’t really an option. We found this little restaurant and their gorgeous range of tapas was perfect. Each tapas dish was generous and delicious. The staff were lovely too and we were served really quickly which was great. We saw some customers with paella and it looked wonderful too. My only reason for 4 stars was that it was a bit chilly in the restaurant and I hate to be cold so ate my meal in my coat. This may have been because it was early evening but this was my only complaint. A reasonably priced restaurant for great quality food.

Después de tres días en Londres, nos apetecía cenar una tostadita y jamon español. Pedimos pan tostado, aceite (que estaba buenismo), lomo y carrillera. Lo mejor el jamón. El servicio rápido y gentil, en especial María, la malagueña. Un saludo desde Alicante. El precio normal/caro is London!

Location is excellent in the middle of the West End of London. Unfortunately everything else was disappointing - we had tapas - small portion sizes - food not authentic Spanish - patatas bravas: Chips with a bit of sauce dribbled over it - meatballs: sauce was like a packet gravy mix - prawns: overcooked - croquette: flavourless and overcooked We sat outside and seemed to be forgotten - I had to go inside and ask for somebody to take our order. I mentioned all of this to the manager and he tried to backchat and then acknowledged that the “new recipe” for the meatballs could be better. Sorry, I can’t recommend this restaurant. They need to do better.

We have been to this restaurant several times and always had tapas which were ok but this time we decided to try the paella. What a revelation. Fantastically tasty; piping hot and plenty of it. Coupled with a very palatable house rioja it made for a very nice pre show meal. The staff were very attentive.

This unassuming restaurant is hidden away next to the Phoenix theatre in London. We told the manager we needed pre-theatre speedy service and that's what we got, together with politeness and excellent food. We would have rated this restaurant 5-star but it does look tired and is in need of a good refurbishment but that doesn't take away from a good-value enjoyable meal.
