Llame para reservar una mesa a unos 15 minutos antes de llegar y me dijeron que era uno de repuesto para mí y mi amigo. Le dije que estaría utilizando una tarjeta de sabor y de repente no había mesa disponible - parece que tienes que reservar con 24 horas de antelación, según la web decían (no mencionar a 24 horas). Luego el gerente me colgó después decía que había ninguna mención en línea. Me llamaron unos minutos más tarde, empujando mi suerte… El gerente dijo el teléfono cortado, y tuve que presionar el caso que íbamos a estar sentado, bebiendo algo de vino y comer… fue extra para ellos… cubre que nunca he tenido que convencer a una empresa para llevar a mi medida antes.

Un grupo de 7 nosotros comimos aquí sobre las 6 de la tarde una noche de sábado. Todos ordenados 2 - 3 tapas cada uno y unos tomar las típicas para la mesa. La comida llegó rápidamente y fue todo muy sabroso, delicioso y un buen tamaño de la porción. Compartimos todo y llegamos a probar un montón de cosas diferentes, que es una forma divertida y social para tener una comida. Me gustó especialmente el bacalao, croquetas de jamón y el queso de cabra con miel de naranja.

Cené allí con mi pareja hace unos días, tuvimos pimientos del padrón, patatas fritas con queso azul y paella de mariscos para dos con una botella de vino. La comida era increíble y la factura era de unos 50 libras. Llegamos alrededor de las 7, y aunque en la puerta decía "abierto" que no parecían estar listos para los clientes. El servicio estaba bien.

The restaurant has a nice and cosy feel to it. Nothing pretentious about it at all.

It's a mini chain, but it still has a lovely back-street tapas feel. The portions are unbelievably generous. The fantastic pork cheeks and octopus stood out.

Staff was lovely, all of them. They get 5 stars in loveliness. A a consequence the food all seemed good and mostly the evening turned out very pleasant.

Large portions, amazing service. Even with groupon, the service was excellent and the waiting staff were nice and attentive. Portions were decent size too. Great food, will come back.

I stopped by last night to get some food and I got a very good impression of everything. Restaurant was buzzing and the staff were really professional. The two waiters I was served by, Lidia and Marco, were absolutely awesome and food was gorgeous! Definitely I will be back!

Fui con un amigo para comer tapas. Selección estaba bien. Un poco lento para todos los platos para salir, pero para ser justos en nuestra mesa era diminuta, así que probablemente no podía llevar todo a la vez. La sangría estaba bien, pero no creo que esté justificado el bastante £20 etiqueta de precio cuando en realidad su normalmente una botella de vino barato regado con fruta y helado!

My friend and I had dinner here. My friend ordered some seafood tapas and I ordered some vegetarian tapas, my friend and I both agreed that the food didn't taste fresh at all, but this is not to say it tasted bad. Overall, I would say this restaurant is not that great - the food is extremely Average, the service is Average, theres no ambience, the cleanliness is terrible (our table was dirty and the toilets were awful with poor hygiene and no toilet paper). On the plus side, the prices are very reasonable, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Amazing restaurant. Suggest to everyone who likes to talk to staff about the food and receive good and quality suggestions. A bit busy however the staff was attentive and the atmosphere was great.

I recommend this restaurant first of all because of the quality of the food, I ordered chorizo paella and manchego cheese salad, it was very delicious. Environment nice and confortable and staff friendly.100% recommendable.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I am sure that I will repeat. The service is very nice and charming. The food moves you to Spain. If you do not know the spanish food, this is the place to visit and if you miss the spanish food this is the place to visit.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and it was the perfect choice. Very nice place and with excellent food. We loved the pleasant service. I'm sure we'll be back.

I was with my partner having dinner and had a great experience. The food is the same as in Spain, it´s very good, especially the tapas. The waiters were very attentive and we didn´t miss anything, I had a great night. I will repeat!

I eat tapas regularly and wonder why it took me so long to try this restaurant...It's better than the tapas I had in Spain!!!Staff is Spanish and very friendly, they takes care of you, nice music and ambiance.We'll be back this week (booking made for next Saturday)

Last week, my friend and I went to this restaurant in a day that there were a lot of customers. That wasn't a problem, beause the manager treated us so close and he was so nice and professional to accommodate us quickly.The food was very tasty and successful. The atmosphere is totally Spanish, and the service is very correct. The relation quality price is also very good. We ate three tapas each, and drank the sangria, which by the way, is delicious, sweet and fruity.100% recommended site.

It was a very fun night at Jamon Jamon thanks to the manager who was very nice and friendly. The food we ordered was a good choice, very good presentation and taste. We will definitely come back!

We arrived on a busy night having booked a table for 5. We were rushed to be seated at the front of the restaurant and 5 mins later the waitress came to ask us to move onto a smaller table as they had messed up bookings. I asked if we could go upstairs but it was closed. She said we only booked for 3 people, so I showed her the confirmation email which stated 5. We squished onto the original table as there wasn’t an alternative.There’s a good selection on the menu so we ordered a range of tapas to share. The food is good and in typical Spanish style arrives as soon as it’s ready. The octopus and chorizo were especially nice. The wine was pretty average.When we ordered the bill, they had missed off some drinks (we didn’t actually notice). So we all paid up and were about to leave when they produced the other bill of £18 (4.95 for sparkling water!) Also with service charge - for the missing drinks. I asked for them to remove the service from that which she did reluctantly. I got the impression that they were quite poorly organised and just keen to turnover tables as fast as possible. Ok for groups but not somewhere I would choose for a couples dinner due to the chaotic atmosphere.

I was more than a little surprised to get a late booking for a Saturday evening for 8 people. Having had the worst dining experience in years I now understand why. It was total chaos from the start. It took an age to get our menus & order drinks, mainly due to the annoying waitress and her performing seal routine working every table paying their bill to maximise tips. Drinks arrived after a 20 min. wait & then only half of them, 3 of our group waited an hour for theirs despite a trip to the bar to find out what the problem was. Food ordering was rushed and muddled, the same waitress walking off after asking only 3 people what they wanted & having to be called back. The food was delivered by different waiting staff who didn't announce dishes & didn't know what they were serving. We queried the wrong cheese platter & the mountain of paella which we were assured were correct quantities. No surprises then when the bill arrived at over 50% more than we had ordered!!!! Obviously we queried it & then the real fun started! A different waitress dealt with the bill & she was the surliest & rudest woman I've ever encountered. We insisted that the bill was adjusted to what we had ordered rather than the version that came (& largely not consumed due to volume). Incredulous that we wanted to use more than one payment card & actually told one member of the party to 'calm down & don't get so excited'- honestly not a raised word from any of us. Really would advise you avoid this dump, so many better places in this area they don't deserve your money. Such a shame as we'd had a great afternoon a near by Crystal Maze but will put it down to experience & let an honest review on here warn others off.

Went there for a quick bite around 4pm on a Monday. Very quiet as expected. Service was fairly decent and efficient and the food was what I expected for the value. Will be back

After meeting for a few drinks at Dirty Martini, we walked a short distanceto a little tapas bar we had seen previously.We got a warm welcome from waiting staff and were shown to a comfortable corner table.As two of our group were Coeliacs, we were concerned about getting a glutenfree meal. This proved to be absolutely no problem. Glutenfree options were clearly identified on the menu and the staff were very helpfulin assisting us in our choices.We had a really lovely evening and I have no hesitation in recommending Jamon, Jamon to Coeliacs visiting Upper St, London.Thank you, hope to see you soon again.

First to arrive when they opened, we were very pleasantly greeted by Marco. The food, freshly cooked and presented, was all delicious. The Cava and Wine were excellent, and well priced. Tapas are one of our regular favourites and we were not disappointed. Not the smartest place in London but thoroughly enjoyable.

The another day I was with my boyfriend having a good night in this establishment in Angel. We came from spain and already we miss a lot our food a culture, for that reason we chose to give an opportunity to this spanish restaurant. The restaurant can remind that you are in a little corner of our country, food with any differences with the original is lovely about all the octopus and black paella. The rest was so good too. The waiter was estremely kind and pacient, only problem my partner in love didn't stop to see him... xD , we fixed after all. Service was good and prices good at all we missed our properly ruavieja and coffee liquor after food for that reason I gave a 4 stars over 5. If you want to enjoy spanish food in London this restaurant can be a good idea better than anothers. Next time try to improve little details and I can give them 5 stars.

The other day my boyfriend and me had lunch in jamón jamón and it was great. I'm Spanish and my boyfriend English so I want him to try some Spanish typical dishes and we loved them, super tasty and homemade , remember me at my mom's . The service was great as well it was a waiter which I don't remember the name and a girl, Maday, which recommend us some of the best dishes and treat us very good. I will definitely come back and recommend the place. Thanks Maday for making our experience so good

How to spoil a day out - visit this place. A group of 8 family and friends had booked a table here after a day out at a local attraction, which according to the reviews (we thought) would be a lovely end to the day. We arrived and was shown to our table OK, but from there on in, it went badly wrong. The waitress who started dealing with us was like a whirling dervish - running around from table to table like her life depended on it. She took our drinks order and then it took 30 minutes for the last of us to get our drinks. We asked 2 times before we got them all but it seemed like 'oh too much of an inconvenience'. Although she did take time out to work the table behind us when it came to the complimentary shots - obviously working the tip (well done).The food order - back into 'dervish' mode - didn't pay attention to what was being ordered and didn't listen properly either. The food arrived in dribs and drabs and was just thrown on the table with no explanation of what it was. I was at the end of the table and I felt that asking was a chore to them. I couldn't recognise one croquette from another - but they were different!. Paella - it arrive last - which was expected - we ordered one Paella for 3 people - that's one paella for 3 people. Straightforward huh? Oh no. We had three dishes of it arrive (which we checked to make sure this was one for three people - 'Si Si -yes' they advised. OK great. we ate as much as we could but we didn't even touch one of them at all. Even the machego cheese platter came as a full cheese platter - Don't worry, that's fine they said. Look, the food was delicious - but we just could tell at that point the bill would be wrong. Guess what - it was. We had been charged not only for the wrong cheese platter, but for THREE lots of Three person paella. OK, so when the girl (a different one now) gave us the bill, before we'd even looked at it, we said we would be splitting the bill - OMG - you would have though we'd asked to do something that had never been done before. She struggled to understand how the service charge would be split and suggested we would have to be charged MORE! You can imagine what happened when we told her the bill was wrong. That's right, she got aggressive with us - asking us 'well, did you eat it'? Yes we said - 'then you have to pay for it' - no we said - we didn't know it was wrong and we did ask - 'well you should know' she said. Then she had a go at one of our friends. We decided not to pay the service charge and we left unhappy. I think this should of been handled differently from the start and would have made for a better evening. Shame.

This is one of the worst dining experiences of my life. After getting food poisoning the first time I visited Jamon Jamon in Camden, I returned to the Islington branch after my mother booked it for a family dinner. We waiting half an hour to receive our glasses and cutlery and even longer to give our orders. After that, only half of the drinks came and we received several of the wrong orders. The same went for the food. We were brought several things we hadn't ordered (including three paellas when we ordered one) and subsequently charged for them. When I challenged this the waitress verbally abused me telling me to calm down while insisting we still paid. It was a thoroughly unpleasant experience from start to finish and I will never be going back.

An uninspiring restaurant lacking in charm and ambience. Food average but reasonably priced. Not half as tasty as Thyme and Lemon which is 5 minutes up the road from here. Will not be returning I'm afraid.

We went as a party of 8 and had a wonderful time. Glad I didn't read the reviews on here before I went as I would have never have gone if I had. All the staff were good, thanks Maday, and the manager Laiid was exceptional. I thought the outside looked a bit grotty but nice and relaxed inside with a cool vibe. We had 3 vegies in the group and plenty of choice for them. The meat eaters were all quite fussy but they all raved over the food. If you are in the area try it.mike

The food and location was great but this was let down by the terrible service. The food was practically thrown on the table like they had to get away as soon as possible. The food came out with huge gaps in between, I would have preferred to wait longer and have the tapas dishes at the same time. Server wasn't friendly and we could hardly get hold of her when needed. Its a good job you put a ridiculous service charge on the bill because you would not be getting tips otherwise!

I have given Jamon Jamon a one star review only because no stars was not an option! Firstly, the staff were really rude. I asked for a sparkling water, but when I took a sip I realised it was still. When I went up to the bar she said she wouldn't exchange it because I had opened the tiny bottle. I told her that I hadn't realised that it was still until I had taken a sip, and that I had asked for sparkling but she said no she couldn't do anything because I had opened the bottle. Eventually the manager came to see what was going on and gave me what I originally asked for. Secondly, we had taken taste cards with us that give you 2-for-1 on tapas. We were a table of four so had taken two taste cards - we checked with the waitress that this was okay and she said that yes of course it was. We were quite disappointed with the meal in general, with lots left over because it was so poor. £5.50 for a bowl of watery mushrooms seemed ridiculous, but I told myself it was okay as we were getting everything 2-for-1. When we asked for the bill she said no we couldn't use our taste cards and that we'd have to pay full price, despite half an hour previously reassuring us that we could use our taste card. If it was a mistake, then it was her mistake and the restaurant should have accepted fault. When they bought us the bill, they had even had the audacity to include the service charge! When we refused to pay the service charge the waitress got really annoyed and seemed to be quite shocked. We explained that we were upset about the blatant lie we had been told about the taste cards, and that we were unhappy and she was very rude to us. To top it all off, I woke up at 1am with a horrendous upset stomach. I wouldn't go back if you paid me. The staff are rude, the food is really bad, and it will give you diarrhoea.

Really bad experience. The service was awful. We asked for an ashtray and were told they had none so 'just throw your cigarette butts on the floor'. Ok, fair enough. We ordered. The food was average (although pretty expensive), the service unbelievable. After waiting for like 40 minutes, the girl comes back to us to take the order again, as 'we had a mess in the kitchen'. We ordered again, the food arrived other 30 minutes later. We asked for the croquettes we got spinach+mushrooms instead. The tortilla never arrived. We asked for it again and it finally arrived when we were ready for the dessert. Waiting for our food, we ordered a couple of drinks, one never arrived. Empty plates and glasses would pile up on the table as no one ever cleared the table. We asked for the coffee, the coffee machine was broken. At the end of the evening, the manager asked like 5 times whether we were happy or not. We weren't but we didn't want to ruin the evening for ourselves so we kept quiet. After paying, however, (£110 bill for mistaken dishes and bland tapas) we realised we'd been overcharged: TWICE for the tortilla + one drink no one had ever ordered (in fact one of our drinks was actually never served and wasn't nearly as expensive as the one we were charged for). We pointed that out and mentioned how bad the service had been.The reaction of the guy was OUTRAGEOUS. 'You are being very rude, you can't tell me that, what is your job? Do you ever make mistakes? You don't know how long it takes to prepare a tortilla! You were here for 4 hours (!!! £110 bill and you tell me I should have left sooner?!) and you don't know how it works in tapas places, clearing tables is not expected! (What?! I lived in Spain and had plenty of tapas in my life, that sounds really new to me). All that raising his voice and being aggressive. We asked for his name: Juan, apparently. I don't believe him though, he refused to speak Spanish, he didn't have a striking Spanish accent and told us his name with a very confrontational attitude (as it was clear we wanted to complain about him). I think he just lied to us using the most common Spanish name he could think of. I truly believe the company should do something about this guy, it was perhaps the worst experience I've ever had.

Went here for dinner with 2 friends.Food is a little bland and service was terrible overall: no one would ever clear our table, so the empty plates and glasses were just accumulating on top of each other. Drinks took 25 min to arrive (on the hottest day of the year) and no one ever asked if we needed a refill/ new drink after we ran out. We've asked for a missing tortilla about 4 times and it came an hour after we had started eating. Requested an ashtray and were told they only had one and it was already in use: "just throw your cigarette butts on the floor". The coffee machine was broken. The white wine was warm.Anywayyy, after all this ordeal, we still managed to have a good time and kept quiet about the service until the bill came. They added about £12 extra (I read on other reviews that it's quite a common practice - be aware). My friend went inside to talk to the manager and complain about the bill and the service (at this point we were baffled with the bad service). The manager (who I believe might be called Juan, although he refused to tell me his surname), stormed outside raising his voice at my friend, saying she had aggressive manners and to not tell him how to do his job. Claimed that we've been in the restaurant for 4h (??? £110 bill should cover that) and that tapas restaurants don't have to clear tables because it's tapas (???). Unreal. The 3 of us were being shouted at by the restaurant manager in front of all the other clients. I tried to ask for our refund so we could leave, but he wouldn't listen. AVOID at all costs. Food isn't worth it, service is terrible. I'm sorry for the female waiters having to put up with this level of management.

My colleague decided that Tapas would be a good choice & was proved absolutely correct. A little pricey but good food & wine

Tapas place near Angel station. Good selection of tapas. We spent £20 each and tasted several ones. Boquerones were very nice and so was the octopus. The cheese croquettes were everybody's least favourite dish. Sangria wasn't great. It had more ice than wine....

We have sat in and enjoyed tapas with sangria and we have also ordered for take away. So delicious! Very welcoming and laid back environment with great staff.

The food was so so fresh and tasty. Always quick to arrive at the table too. The drinks are also lovely and never watered down. The 50% or 2-for-1 offer is an absolute bargain too. The staff are always so friendly and the music tops off a really nice atmosphere. I keep going back.

En una calle llena bares y pequeños restaurantes ubicamos Jamón- Jamón con nombre de título de Película de Bigas Luna. Muy buena atención y buenos precios en una ciudad en que eso no se acostumbra. Tres tapas fueron suficientes , una tortilla española que no perdonamos nunca, unas chuleticas de cordero de exquisito sabor y unas albondigas en una salsa de muerte. Quedamos satisfechos y disfrutamos de una comida que invita volver, ya lo saben

We just walked in after a long day of hard work, starving…and ordered several tapas dishes and a small bottle of red.Service was fast, food was quickly on our table and it was in my opinion tasty and better than we had in many other places calling themselves tapas restaurants. It was a simple food, down to earth, washed down with a good wine…good price at the end…nothing to complain. Will come again, for sure!

We popped in without booking as we were fairly early for a Saturday and were given a table straight away. Service was good, though it got quite busy later on. The pricing was reasonable and the standard of food was quite high. I liked the ambience and we enjoyed our tapas and a nice glass of red wine. Just what we needed. Will be happy to eat here again.

Have utilised this Spanish restaurant on a couple of occasions when walking Upper Street and it’s always been OK for us. But then we only utilise it for tapas and stick to mainly fish and vegetable dishes. The sardines and mushrooms with spinach were particularly good last week and usually find the service levels attentive enough.

Visited on Saturday evening for the first time with a group of friends. We pre booked a table I'm advance for 8 and although we probably could have just turned up and got the one the place did seem to be getting incredibly busier as the evening went on.I was incredibly impressed with the wide choice of dishes available on the menu which made the choice of deciding what to get that more difficult. In the end we opted for 9 dishes between the three of us - a mixture of vegetarian meat and fish as well as a jug of red sangria.The food was very quick to come out with each dish being brought to the table when ready. We waited no longer than 5 minutes for the first dish. All of the food was gorgeous and incredibly filling. The portion sizes were very generous. One of the dishes we ordered didn't get brought to the table however we were so full we decided against asking them for it. When the bill arrived it was still included. I politely explained the situation to the man and he had no problem taking it off. Very reasonable prices, beautifully presented food cooked to perfection and cosy surroundings. I would definitely return and highly recommend to others.

This is not the first time I eat at Jamon Jamon.What claims to be a Spanish tapas is a poor version of the real thing. Fatty, oily and poor quality food.the service is ok.

My partner and I went for a meal as we felt for a tapas. The food was okay and so was the service but we waited a long time to pay. Table for two just about held what we ordered to eat which was not much. Sangria was not as great as expected but was okay

We went here on a Friday evening, we were seated downstairs beside the stairs and bar, the manager served us who was French and very friendly with plenty of chat out if him. Nice ambience in the restaurant, we had a charcuterie board with cheese which was massive and cheap considering, I was nearly too full for our paella. The manager forgot to add a bottle of wine to our bill, when I let him though his he was shocked but thankfull. Overall a nice night out

Went to this restaurant with friends for lunch.Disappointing the waiter,only one seemed miles away and disinterested.The cutlery and plates were very minimal ,only one small plate each(which was in fact a side plate) no salt n pepper on the table.We ordered Paella which had to allow 30/40 mins cooking time ,mmm yum.It arrived very uniform looking 2 large prawns 4 mussels and Very Soggy rice ,which appeared to have been heated up and no flavor whatsoever had to keep putting on black pepper n saltTo add insult to injury they had the nerve to add service charges to our bill of £3.56 for a guy to bring over the salt n pepper.Had Sangria again DISAPPOINTING!!Won't be going back here.

Visited here with five friends. The tapas were below average - not seasoning and far too much oil. The waitress were rude from arrival. Little did they know one of my friends first language is Spanish , and overheard them repeatedly bad mouthing our group with no reason , we made no complaints at all. We paid with no tip and left. No idea where the good reviews are coming from.

Have eaten here several times and it has never disappointed. The food is fresh and flavoursome and inexpensive and the service is friendly and efficient. Can highly recommend the tapas and Sangria.

Came with a friend and ordered bread with butter (pan) as a starter while waiting for our food. Only cost 80p for 5 pieces! Which is very cheap. Ordered the patatas bravas which came in a large portion (bigger than the one i had in barcelona) and chorizo paella, which i never thought i would choose (as i am a seafood lover). The chorizo paella is couldnt finish it all as we were full. The paellas range from £19-25. One dish is for minimum 2 people so it is fairly cheap. Service was great, staff was polite, gave us a good vibe and very attentive. Would definitely recommend and come back. Theres more tapas and paellas to try out.Also found that this is on the tastecard (after i had been) .. 241 main meal, just to let you all know ;)

We have been there twice in the last two weeks and it has been some great tapas! I would recommend the goats cheese and the chorizo... Make sure you get some bread for the sauce! Also pork loin and sardines. As you can tell we enjoyed it alot! Bon appetit!

Visited here to celebrate a friends birthday. The tapas was absolutely delicious as was the paella and sangria we had a table outside and it was a lovely location

Hoy yendo a una entrevista de trabajo, lo hemos visto de casualidad, y nos hemos acercado a comer, nos ha recordadoa nuestra España, buen ambiente, un sitio tranquilo...La música Española, por ejemplo, Pimpinela..Fito y los Fitipaldis.. Estopa... son algunos que hemos podido escuchar durante nuestra visita. De entrante hemos pedido un poco de pan con Tomate y estaba delicioso, con un poquito de perejil y ajo y el tomate en el centro para que te puedas servir. De plato principal hemos pedido una paella mixta, la verdad que estaba todo absolutamente delicioso. Seria un plato 10 si no fuera por que las gambas que llevaban encima estaban muy secas y costaba un poco comerlas. Pero en general el camarero que nos ha atendido muy amable y estaba en todo. Le puedo dar un 9.5 en total. Pero por supuesto volveremos.

I have been to this place a few times before and each time really enjoyed it. Last time I went we were celebrating my friends birthday. Both waiters were very pleasant, hospitable and definitely made our evening. The food was as good as always. We shared 5 different tapas and 1 dessert, everything was top quality. I also love the music there, it creates a happy atmosphere. I will definitely keep coming here!

Had my birthday dinner with a friend in Jamon Jamon and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered salad, goats cheese, patatas, chicken and shrimps and every dish was delicious! Was more than enough for the two of us. Sangria was also great. Prices are very reasonable.

I booked Jamon Jamon Islington for my brothers birthday but decided to go elsewhere at the last minute. The next week I decided to eat at Jamon Jamon with friends- I'm so glad I didn't bother eating there for a special occasion like a birthday.The tapas was so lacklustre- my patatas duo was lukewarm with too little of both sauces. The mushroom croquettes had a mushy texture & were also lukewarm. My friends chorizo was over cooked. The only moderately reasonable part of the meal was the wine.I'm not a fan of chains as it is but I really wouldn't bother with this one. There are so many better independent options, especially on Upper Street.

I know it's a simple dish, but I can't fault the meat platter. I had some olives with it and left completely stuffed. Good, flavour-some meat that the owners have clearer done their homework on.And great to have a friendly smile from the waitress. Not often that someone genuinely appeared to like their job

Hi!We enjoyed a lot our dinner in Jamon Jamon in Islington/Angel. The food is really good (really tasty and good quality), the music is really happy and funny and the place is cosy.I enjoyed every minute there, especially because of the employees. They are really kind, providing an outstanding service (spanish host way). My partner and me were very pleased to be assisted by Sara (I think it was her name, Half spanish, half moroccan), this waitress made our dinner even more enjoyable, she is great.We will go back to this restuarant. Everyone should try it!!!! Marta

This restaurant is awesome, the food was delicious, the service was impeccable, I really recommend this restaurant, the best apella i have try in my life. I want to thanks the outstanding service from Gloria and Jeison, for sure i will come back.

It was very quiet when we visited, but not surprising on a cold Saturday late afternoon in November. The service was excellent, which again was not a surprise since only two or three tables were occupied. It was still carried out in a friendly efficient manner, and with good humour even when the number of dishes ordered for 4 of us wouldn't fit onto the table.The food though was very good; this wasn't a pastiche of Spanish food, it was the real thing. Excellent!

The food was really good, great treat and service excellence. The staff work quick and the are very polite and friendly. I recommend to orden gambas al ajillo, calamares a la Romana, pisto murciano, pulpo a la gallega and the paella . Hi, I just went there the other day with my girlfriend and the staff is really friendly since the dust moment they start interacting with as and making us feel comfortable, the food was awesome.Especially the parrillada and the paella.Glad to find this restaurant that can take me back home even when I am in another country, I definitely recommend it. The staff was good in general but the manager were awesome as she invited us to some shots on the house. I definitely be back there soon.

This restaurant doesn´t provide employment contracts to its staff. Except for the Manager, the rest of the people is working without a legal employment contract. Apart from that, my friend who used to work here didn´t get the service charge (everhting went to the owner), only 7.20 per hour, PLUS the tips over the bill that already included the service charge...Food is nice, and the staf of the kitchen is awesome as well (by the way, they are all from Sri Lanka, not even a spanish cooker,at least in this restaurant). As a customer you focus on the quality of the food and the price you get charged, but please take in account this kind of things next time.PD: the new manager here is unproffesional and awful, to customers and specially to staff. Think twice before coming here.

Really bad! No idea why the reviews are so good or why this place was so busy (reason we chose it). Every single thing we ordered was extremely bland and unseasoned. The music was dreadful and service was slow even though it looked like they had more guys serving than there were customers.

The food was good, the service we found to be friendly and pleasant. As with all restaurants in London, the prices seem a bit high for the portion size but that's not unique to Jamon Jamon... It's the same all over town. The meat was well cooked, presented fresh and hot to the table on a slate platter. The bread offered was wholesome and fresh cut, everything about the meal was good, the Sangria was very good too.At the end of the meal, we declined the desserts but accepted the complimentary serving of liqueur, and we were glad we did... YUM ! Definitely going back for more.

The food was truly amazing. To us, we ate one of the best paella in London. The service, however, was quite absent. The guy who served us was sweet and cute, while the girl extremely rude, careless and chewing a gum. Not quite professional. Such a pity.

This restaurant turned out to be a great surprise. We sat outside in the evening whilst it was still warm and had a variety of dishes and sangria. The quality of the food was really good and service was friendly and quick. Prices aren't cheap but about average.

The tapas was cooked well but some of the dishes were small even for tapas and far too much salt added. We order a tomato and onion salad and it was covered in rock salt. We told a waitress and she didn't seem too concerned. It really spoiled the flavour of the food . Just to add insult to injury - they added on 12.5% tip .

Stopped here for a late lunch whilst staying in Islington. A quaint little place off upper street with outdoor seating. Ordered tapas to share, all good & great service!

This is sadly my first bad review. I do love Spanish tapas, but what I had in this place is everything than Spanish tapas. We asked for a bottle of white wine that arrived warm! We asked for a cold bottle but we just got a ice bucket. We almost finished our meal when the bucket arrived we then decided to not drink a warm wine, as we also left majority of the food that was... Well. Good bye

Possibly my favourite Spanish restaurant the food was stunning, sangria was delicious also! Lovely surroundings and good atmosphere. Can't wait to return!

We found this Spanish restaurant walking around the Angel area on a tuesday evening. We tried the paella and also the mussels. Everything was lovely, the sangria too was good. You must be a little patient because the paella takes a long to be served but it is worth the wait!

Excellent Seafood Paella. Tasty Tapas. Really enjoyed and would only have given a higher rating if the service was not on siesta time!

I eat here often and love this restaurant. If you get a spot on the tables they have it adds to the summery feel (particularly on a sunny day). They serve great and authentic Spanish food, particularly good the croquetas with ham and with blue cheese. The octopus a la galega is also really nice. It's a great little spot and I suggest it to anyone looking for a nice dinner in Islington. Indoors it can get a little noisy particularly during weekends when it's most busy, but most restaurants in London are like this.

Upper Street is well blessed with restaurants, Jamon Jamon is a Tapas restaurant that I could make a regular visit to. Simplicity is the key to tapas, the food is good, freshly cooked and tasty. There is a good selection of tapas and salads. Good mix of vegetarian, fish and meat dishes. Like it, love it, live it

Have been to this tapas restaurant twice - the first time is was absolutely great - food, service, ambience etc. The second time we were expecting the same, but the food was not as good as before. We are planning to give this restaurant one more chance - as the atmosphere and food on our first visit was great!. So hopefully the follow up was a one-off.

Visited for casual lunch with friends before going to the New Designer exhibition at the BDC. What a fantastic, authentic place! We started with a few tapas bits washed down with yummy sangria - made from scratch and not you pre-made bottled or vacuum packed version. At one point the waitress realised that she had forgotten our mushroom croquettes and arrived a few minutes later with half a jug of sangria as an apology! Most unnecessary but great customer service! We followed it with a paella to share and OMG! One of our party can't eat shellfish or pork - "no problem we can make it with just chicken". So delicious, soooo filling, soooo worth a visit if you miss the flavours of Spain. All that was missing was the smell of the sea. Great food, great drink, great service. I'll be back!!

Friendly and efficient service and absolutely amazing tapas. You can't go wrong here. Drinks wise, try the delicious cava sangria.

I came here last Thursday for an afternoon lunch, first people in the restaurant so had choice to dine anywhere, there are both inside and outside options. They did not have a specific Tapas menu, which is what I felt like but lots of little dishes on the menu that you could build up just like a tapas. Me and my friend ( a native Latina who recommended the place) chose a mixed grill with steak, chicken breast, lamb chops and chorizo all on a bed of mixed veg ( not the peas sweetcorn carrot variety, mushrooms onions and peppers). We also ordered a side of Patatas Bravas. Of course if you are going to eat Spanish food this needs to be washed down by a jig of Sangria! The food was delicious and all at great value. I would definitely come here again.

cheap ingredients, not particularly pleasant interior. I'm surprised this restaurant hasn't closed down yet as there are far superior tapas places on Upper St.
