Good food and little wait and a nice social atmosphere.

Our first time at Camino! Was a lovely atmosphere and service as well as delicious food and drink with such a great selection. Shoutout to our lovely server Gabriela who answered all our questions and cocktail recommendation ( was so yum!) and in general for being so lovely. We will back for the bottomless brunch and food again!!

Absolute gem of a place. Unreal decor and atmosphere, they listened to requests for where our table would be too. Service was impeccable and an example to other restaurants. Food was lovely too. When a dish didn’t arrive in good time, we were offered it on the house, and given free extras to make up for it. Would definitely go again and would highly reccomend

Food portions so small that to feed 4 people bill was over £200 I can say the portions size even with 4 tapas you could not feed one adult. No salads which in Spain is the norm! Rather eat McDonald’s

There is a bar and courtyard at the rear of this restaurant where it is good to sit for a drink. We visited on a Wednesday and the kitchen did not open until 5pm. When it did we enjoyed a selection of good dishes and it started to fill up quicky so I would book in advance if you can. Its location is within 5 minutes of two main line train terminals so it is great if you want to wait for a train with out the normal noise of the station.

It's very very very good. Black rice in particular. The service is fast and friendly. The downside: it's extremely noisy.

Food portion were generally small and expensive but still tasted great but sadly was disrupted by Ant & Dec who did a secret film session the evening I visited. This meant putting up with loud noises, smashing plates, singing and other attention seeking activities that caused my attention to constantly look forwards their way. This was not a cheap meal and no apology or explanation was given to us afterwards. I understand this was a coincidence but its not something I willingly took part in causing my evening to be rather disrupted. Edit: 23/07/2024 I was asked to contact their feedback team. They didn't reply until I chased up. After which their "apology" was for me to spend more money at their establishment by giving 50% the next meal! That is an insince apology and I will not be returning again. Reduced my review from 2 starts to 1.

I have eaten in Camino King's Cross many times since it opened and this visit, with five friends who had never been before, lived up to expectation. We each order two from the menu and shared and all were happy. We have agreed to eat there again probably when we book for a concert at Kings Place.

Food was mediocre, very much geared around getting as much out as quickly as possible and way too expensive given the quality. Service was good and very efficient.

Didn’t have the table reserved so we ended up walking from one side of the place to the other, while staff seemed to be blaming each other. No one arrived to take our order, so we had to head to the bar. Decent food and drink, but nothing special.

Food is good, but service is so bad. No allergy check and the waitress just standing at host chatting without offering any water or check on table.

Always come back here for my birthday. Good menu choice, lovely quality food. Attentive service. Shame the prices have gone up - as they have everywhere, but portion sizes are good.

The venue is close to King’s Cross station, so easy to get to. Tables are a reasonable size and seating isn’t too cramped. The restaurant was very loud so don’t go here if you want to sit a chat to your friends. In general, however, the venue was fine. The food is what lets this restaurant down. Portions are quite small, even for tapas, relatively expensive and just not that tasty. The wine list is, like the food, very expensive for the quality. All in all I think Camino doesn’t try that hard because of the guaranteed foot fall from the station.

Great tapas restaurant right next to Kings Cross station. Nice decor and environment, buzzy atmosphere. Most dishes were really good but a couple were just average (the patatas bravas were a bit dry) and they had run out of bread. The waiter recommended we order three dishes each, which would have been too much I think (and there was not enough room on the table). At over £10 each for many of them that would have made it quite expensive too.

The service was super quick even it was a busy saturday evening. The food was delicious. Mussels were amazing, highly recommend to try.

We ordered 4 dishes and decided that it was not worth it to order more as the dishes were below average. We ended up leaving and went to a different restaurant.

Sorry to say, the food was either poor or mediocre. Very underwhelming and two dishes were really awful. Many years ago it used to be a lot better. Staff were pleasant. Wine was nice. But do not go here if you like good food. I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so this time to pass the information on. We were thinking here or Barrafina but chose Caminos as convenient from station, and more reasonably priced. I guess the old adage stands: you get what you pay for 😔

Food was great, as was our waitress- a really bubbly character. It was a shame that apparently the only free table ( we hadn’t booked on a Monday evening)was in the bar area ( high table and stools)by the door, according to the woman on reception. Plenty of free tables at the back that were still vacant when we left. Camino - get your act together. 60 + year olds have money to spend. The table wasn’t big enough for what we ordered. Would I recommend anyone to pop in last moment- definitely not!

Slow and unhelpful staff in a quiet night. Waited for long until someone took the order. The price was too high for the level of quality of the food. The plates are not close to real Spanish food, mostly the tortilla. The waiter recommended to choose 4 plates per person and bread when we asked for suggestions regarding quantity. We ended up paying a for food we didn’t manage to eat. Deep fried calamari and garlic prawns cooked with a bad quality and used oil. The water was served at the very end of the meal despite asking for it many times.

Very disappointing. The size of their main courses is the size of a regular tapas, so their tapas is like a testing, extremely small. We had pulpo a la brasa and came cold, the steak and solomillo very rare for the term that we asked, they took it back and they brought the solomillo completely burnt and the steak the sameas they took it. Kitchen closed at 9.30pm on a Saturday night. Very disappointing

Very busy on a Friday night compared to a Wednesday evening a few weeks back. Some food was cold and had to be sent back. Very busy and very tight space between tables.

Great place a short walk from KX station, only 2 minutes. Wonderful fresh tasty food and great choices service relaxed and friendly. We shared a few plates and some lovely Rioja. A genuine place

Very disappointed with the service. Practically ignored on entrance and told to wait by two people before being seated by a third person. Waited ages before then being asked about drinks (and not very politely asked either). Asked for olives with wine and was advised to order all food at that point as it would be served as it was prepared and some things take longer than others. Everything came at once apart from the wine and olives which came at least 5 minutes later. No check back to ask if everything was ok. Had to ask if we could have a desert. Bill was presented, with no words, without being asked for. Apart from the poor service the food was excellent, very tasty. Disappointed that an apparently authentic Spanish restaurant was making such a big deal (staff t-shirts, promo material everywhere) about Madri - a beer brewed in the UK with no connection to Spain other than that it pretends to be from Madrid. Third visit here but we’re unlikely to return.

Great venue - light and airy with plenty of room. Delicious tapas. I recommend the croquetas but to be honest everything on the menu is worth a try! Friendly service and reasonably priced.

Nothing great, nothing terrible, just a bit underwhelming Food not overly flavorful and felt quite chain like. Service was efficient but not particularly warm. Prices reasonable for quality. But in such a crowded food market, would I go again? probably not.

A light lunch with Mummy and one of the Davids in her life, at Camino in Kings Cross. Not the best Patatas Bravas (too dry and almost tasteless). The Padron Peppers were better but still not great. A bit too soft. The Mushroom and Butterbean Mojo, on the other paw, was yummy in my fluffy tummy. As we had not booked we were seated in the smaller front part of the restaurant, with benches and stools rather than backed chairs.

Never fails. The bar with DJ made the night even better - had a great time!

Fabulous long lunch. Lots of choice - even for the one vegan amongst us. Pork was amazing but all the food was fab. Service great.

Nice place and good atmosphere, but in my case I came thinking that being a place that claims to have Spanish recipes, I thought they would be with more quantity, and the truth is that as their slogan says “let's go for tapas” what they serve you are tapas Delicious but small for the price they have. We ordered two alhambra and they were not cold, more like the weather. As a good Galician, I like to eat well and in quantity. And Estrella Galicia would also be good (advice for management) since other locations have it.

Got a bite to eat here after the Everyman as Coaldrop's Yard restaurants are pretty jam packed on Thursday's (and other nights). The charming team found us a seat, great advice on the wines and menu, Fun atmosphere and delightful food. Then a random bit of filming, so we stayed for a drink, Thanks to all of the great staff and we'll be back... 👋🏼👌🏼

Very disappointed Booked for a birthday in the restaurant Seated at a high table with stools. Cramped for 4 people ,food and drinks Waitress arrived no smile very miserable. Food seems to be in portions of 3 items which is odd when alot of parties will be even numbers Food was good but all arrived at once and didn’t feel tapas style at all £200 meal over very quickly

First time at Caminos food & atmosphere were perfect, stayed virtually until the end fair play to the dj who had everyone dancing until close place was a bit too busy if anything but a good time was had by all.

A pretty authentic Spanish dining experience in terms of the food and very good options of wine by the glass - good quality if a little pricey. Menu has all the tapas favourites you'd expect, ox cheeks and calamari particularly good. Atmosphere is buzzy but not too much, although the end of our evening did descend into chaos somewhat due to the unexpected arrival of Ant and Dec and a film crew (no spoilers)! Overall really enjoyable if a little crazy at the end!

Sheryas was just brilliant at making us feel very welcomed, suggesting the right wine (and correcting us when we got it wrong - we loved the honesty) and for being cheeky yet always wanting to do the best for us. A complete credit to the whole restaurant - he’s a keeper!

The food was great: tasty, authentic, all good ingredients, nice presentation. The service was OK. This was overall a positive experience. Only comment, the price. Dishes are supposed to be shared and portions are supposed to be small. so it would be great to be able to order several dishes and try new things. But each dish has the price of a main so it is not possible to do that.

Food was expensive and not very tasty. We have eaten here before and enjoyed it but were disappointed on this occasion.

I was a little apprehensive about this restaurant not because of the food but because of the comments regarding the staff and service however we were pleasantly surprised. The food was indeed excellent arriving at a steady pace without being rushed. The portions were a good size bearing in mind that some of them are very rich and you can easily over order tapas and then not enjoy it. The wine selection was good and reasonably priced measures being generous. Our waiter was very good, attentive without being pushy but as we didn't eat until nearly 20.00 it may be different for an early sitting. Overall we couldn't fault it and would certainly go back again and if asked recommend it

An excellent meal just like the place, very nice. It's the second time I've been going and I recommend it. We were attended by Gabriela, a very attentive and friendly waitress. The dishes Gabriela recommended to me were incredible!!!

A very pleasant light dinner before catching a train from Kings Cross. Food all very tasty. Service both pleasant and helpful. Fully recommended.

Very pleasant staff. Prompt service. The portions are small so I'd recommend 3 dishes each if you're hungry. In terms of taste, its varies between average and good Not noisy so you can have a decent conversation.

The portion sizes were smaller than what the price reflects. An empty restaurant when we arrived but front of house told us we could only dine until 6:40pm. The waitresses were very friendly and offered some excellent recommendations.

Delicious food, we had a great celebratory birthday lunch for 8 with an assortment of sharing plates, many recommended by our lovely waitress, Shirley who was great fun and deserves a mention. Would certainly go again.

Great food, slightly slow on the service but made up for by everything else

Food here is always delicious. Been here a few times but found it noisier this time. Music was louder and it may have been our seats and other diners near us. We found we were having to shout to hear each other. Have to say we are all over 50 so this may be a factor 😄

Restaurant was nice and warm. Food was excellent and all came quite quickly, hot too. No issues there. Good menu too, really liked that. Our waiter was probably very inexperienced, didn't communicate, just took the order, no advice or opinions. I ordered a white and a red wine for myself given the different dishes. White came quickly, had to ask three times for our birthday bunny's cava and never got my red (could have asked but just thought I see what happens). He asked if he should get it after all our food was finished. It wasn't busy, no excuse there, just didn't get it.
