Lo único malo de mi día perfecto fue casi ser aniquilado por un autobús que venía por la carretera al salir.

If you want to watch football, don't bother with this place. Staff have to go upstairs to change channels and they don't appreciated being asked to do so. Also no commentary on. Cheapish drinks. Didn't eat.

I came into The James Tassie this morning with my friend for coffee. No cakes or scones were available however our lattes were lovely. Thank you to Kirsty for bringing them over and advising where to find the best cakes in Shawlands! Will hopefully be back.

Visited the Tassie today after a visit to the Burrell Collection. I was promptly served by Kirsty behind the bar. Very lovely and polite young lady. I haven’t visited the Tassie before but will on my next visit this side of the river. She recommended that I sign up to their app however still to do this so cannot comment on this as of yet. Food that was being brought past me also looked and smelled lovely so will certainly be adding this to the cards.

Served by Kirsty who is very attentive to her customers. Very observant and hard working too. Wonderful nature. Always a smile with a pint.

Have been frequenting the Tassie for the last six months and have gotten to know Kirsty. Always courteous and recommended the app to me which got me a free pint! Great chatting about mutual travels.

This place is a must if you find yourself in the south of Glasgow ( Shawlands) I have recently started to frequent the place and could not have been more welcomed by the proprietors and patrons . I'm sitting here right now during a huge storm ( I could not be warmer or more content) looking out the window at the storm ( much better than sitting alone ) . They new that the punters needed somewhere to be today and did everything they could to make sure that their punters needed somewhere to be ( in a world surrounded by division) they understand the meaning of unity. All the staff are great but ask if Katelyn is working ( a very fun and helpful staff member) who the company are lucky to have.

Such a brilliant pub with brilliant staff! Especially a young girl called Caitlyn! Her service was amazing and so friendly! Will definitely be back

Got served by Kirsty. Helped me to get signed up to Mixr and talked me through the menu as we had a fussy eater in the party. Visiting from Germany and was surprised when we started getting served in German! Will be back on our next visit

Recently moved to the area and James Tassie‘s is quickly becoming a favourite local! Great midweek deals and the football is always on. Service is brilliant - servers have always been kind and helpful. Jason has been dutifully manning the place this evening and brings great energy.

Tassies is my local and the best pub in Shawlands. The staff are great always on the ball. Karen is a fantastic manager, top class and always looks after us all and her team. Great for food and the best spot for all sport. Highly reccomend

Visited with my husband and my daughter not too long ago. I am quite a fussy eater however Joe behind the bar was incredibly patient with my dietary requirements for the mixed grill. My daughter is also a pescatarian and they were even as kind to substitute the battered sausage on the chip shop platter for a Quorn sausage. Just unheard of, and really shows they go out their way for even the most niche dietary preferences. The food was all cooked immaculately and I really appreciated their going out their way for my fussyness. Beer selection was very good as were the gins on offer. Our dogs were also welcomed with open arms and spoiled with treats and pets. Please do visit if you’re stopping by in Shawlands. Haven’t had a pub grub quite like that for a long time now. - T

Visited with my daughter and wife. Excellent service from the whole team. Karen and Charles are especially diamonds. Drink prices are very good for the area, as some pubs you’re paying as much 4.65 for a pint of Tennents. The mixed grill was absolutely wonderful. As someone who has a South African wife, it was the perfect option for that carnivore. Excellent options for entertainment and when it comes to food, the staff are very on the ball with dietary requirements. Lovely locals and regulars as well. Both staff and regulars were very welcoming of our two golden retrievers who were treated to Glasgows finest water and biscuits. If you’re in Shawlands, please stop by. The best pub. MIXR app also a good bargain, can’t beat a free pint!

Popped in recently for a beer and bite to eat whilst watching the football. Have to say, great local pub...full of general working class folk just looking to relax and have a good time. The food, fairly decent for the price point...dont get me wrong its bit world xlass, but for pub food its great. Worth a visit.

Mia and Alex did a grand job of showing us how to work the MIXR app to redeem a free drink! Alex was very patient despite it taking a while to load. Great place to watch the champions league knock out with best seats in the house and very cute wee fairy lights that came on at half time!

I stopped by here recently and was served by Kirsty, who was super helpful. I’m vegetarian with allergies and she made me feel comfortable, as a fellow vegetarian she pointed me in the right direction. She also got me signed up to their app and got a free drink! Will definitely be back :)
