Fantastic Chinese take away, staff were lovely and the food was piping hot. We were unsure of the area and the staff were so helpful. Food was amazing 🤩

Chow mein was dry and salty and the noodles were cut up into childlike food no juice whatsoever in it.

Thought I would give it a try as usual closed. Curry was watery and tasteless, chow mien lacked meat and taste also

Honestly I was shocked at how good it was. Great service, great food. The chicken balls were really good. The service was so fast as well. A £60 order (15 things) in 10 mins and still fresh

My review is based on two visits, but ordering my favourite food that I've enjoyed immensely at other Chinese takeaways elsewhere. In short, I'm not impressed at all! My main reason for trying out this place, not just because of the good reviews, is due to "Scores On The Doors," which has given this particular place a 5* hygiene rating. Good for me in that respect, but sadly let down by the bland and overly expensive food! Let me explain myself...I don't mind paying extra if they are going to tweak the menu for me at my request, i.e, requesting extra spicy for my curry instead of just spicy, but to actually charge 20p for this service and yet receive no extra spice to my tastebuds and then having to add my own at home, angers me! Aside from that, there is no evidence of any fresh chillies whatsoever, so an extra splash of chilli oil, which they must be using, is not gonna break the bank! One dish I ordered, I requested no batter on my prawns, yet did they discount me for that? NO! Yet they still charged me for extra spicy! I must add, that this is the only takeaway that has ever charged me for extra spicy! Tidy profit for them in the long run, I guess.

We use this place for our Takeaway Chinese food every time. The meals are fresh, clean and varied. Curries have just the right amount of heat and have lots of good quality meat. The staff are very friendly and the service is quick.

Ordered crispy shredded beef in a chilli sauce and chips It wasn't crispy but this dish is known for that my gripe is it tasted of nothing at all loads of chilli sauce but no taste or heat The chips were nice I won't be back for a while

I frequent this takeaway over others because i enjoy the varied menu and the food is tasty, which is a bonus when the cost per item has risen over the years. But, despite this factor (due to inflation and food costs in general) the portions remain good value for money. Obviously it is not good for you to eat bought takeaway food everyday but as a once-per-week treat, Jambo is my choice of Chinese.

Have had a take away from here many times I gave up counting. Each and every time the food it hot and delicious. The staff are always friendly and with a smile. We even travel back to Westbury for our Chinese now we have moved

We live in Westbury and have found this amazing Chinese Takeaway. Mention you dont like some foods and they will take it out of the recipe's before they cook them. e.g. mushrooms, onions etc. All cooked fresh to order, fast service. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Sets itself well apart from other Chinese Takeaways, this place uses alot of Lemongrass and Ginger in its cooking, the smell wafting out from the Takeaway when its closed, is amazing! The food is always hot and most of what we have tried has got an amazing flavour. If you like bland, use the other chinese takeaways in Westbury, we've done bland with the others, but this one is amazing. Shame they dont have a restaurant, they would make alot more money.

Certainly the best take away in town. Just cooked everything. Spotlessly clean... you could have your chips off the floor... Friendly staff. First class nosh...... I'll be back for certain....

When I became a vegetarian, I stopped going to Chinese restaurants/ordering takeaway, purely because I am quite a picky eater and will stick with something if I like it, which, pre-veggie was Chicken Fried Rice. However, I decided on a whim to buy some Egg fried Rice from Jambo one night and could've cried with how nice it was! After, I ordered the same from other Chinese takeaways thinking I liked the dish but to my dismay, the only EFR I can eat now is from Jambo. I'm no longer a vegetarian, but I still make the 20 minute walk from my house just to buy it. Not to mention whenever anybody orders anything from there and offers me some, I always love it. I am such a boring eater that, especially if you are quite adventurous taste-wise, you definitely need to give them ago! All my friends go there and its a very popular place in Westbury. The staff are lovely, especially the owner. Once I was stood outside and as she had closed the shop, she offered one of my friends some food for free. Very fast, efficient service and the place is clean with comfortable seating and windows that are always open so on a hot day it is always cool, and in wet, cold weather it's a relief to get into the warm. As its my favourite place in Westbury I may be biased but if you're around, give it a go! (And get the egg fried rice)

The lady owner of this place is just so lovely it keeps me going back. Food is also good. Not a big fan of their chips but the proper meals are very nice. Proper family business that is worth supporting. Thanks!

Chinese here is ok, but the fish and chips are very poor, and not as good as they used to be. The chips are very poor indeed
