Jamaica Flavours in Newham

I've always liked black cat and I love what the new owners have done with the place. I will say that some of the food is nice but not as good as it used to be, for example the breakfast scrambled tofu is a little bit too mustardy. It would be cool if we could have some of the previous classics too, is it possible to purchase the recipes from the previous owners? The service and atmosphere is excellent though, wouldn't mind seeing it keep its political 'edge' too tho. Defo gonna keep coming but wanted to add some notes. This is a really nice cafe to sit at for a while and enjoy some food and drink.

Great service from Esh.... definitely worth a visit. Would recommend to anyone fir a quick stop. Steph is also a bar tender to look out for

Visited here years ago and it was quality! Now it smells like a toilet; the prosecco tastes like vinegar; the seats were wet... Would not risk eatting here, Yuk!

Service was extremely slow. It took the staff 27 minutes to deliver the order in the food court setting (I had to go and stand at the tills; they were not busy). Fries were very good. Wings had a good flavour albeit being very skinny. Fish (bream) was very mediocre. Overall, it wasn't a good value for money.

Really terrible food and drinks, from presentation to zero flavour, You will never see me back at this spot, really not recommend it. 👎🏾
