Great coffee and fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend coming here for a coffee. There is a nice seating area to enjoy your coffee and food.

Service was brilliant, very professional, friendly, cafe was lovely, clean and quiet. Food was a bit pricier than expected (with extras), I ordered the Avocado on Toast - it’s a shame you don’t have the option to add singluar items but you have to order in twos (two hashbrowns, two sausages etc.) which upped the cost of my brunch to £18 without drinks. Hot chocolate is delicious. Food was presented well and tasted a lot more delicious than anticipated. Would dine here again.

Asked for Hot chocolate. Tasted like it was 90% sugar with false milk creamer. I took it back and gave my opinion. The manager said he never had any complaints and was unhappy until he saw I had my credit card out. Then cheered up enough to take my money again. He had the option to refuse my moeny and provide the drink for free. He gave me 30p off the coffee I ordered. The experience: 1 drinkable coffee cost me over £7.

Was super excited to come across this coffee shop and finally taste blue mountain coffee yesterday (27 Sept). Unfortunately the service we received at the till from one particular young Asian man spoilt the whole experience for my partner and I. We approached the counter to order and I asked if the latte coffees were also made using blue mountain coffee and his response was anything but warm, welcoming and friendly. Looked at me as if I was completely stupid and simply responded with "you need to tell me if that's what you want!" followed by a look as if I was completely stupid. I didn't bother explaining it was our first time visiting and was just seeking clarity. We paid and took a seat but both my partner and I commented how rude and offish he was. The older gentleman (presume the owner/manager) was super friendly as was the lady who brought he coffees to the table. I hope this review is a lesson leant for the young man not to judge a book by the cover and treat all customers with respect! Not sure at this point whether we will return or not, seems a shame as the black coffee and latte was delicious and well worth the £10 we spent to experience the blue mountain taste. Had we of received better service from the young man, our review would have been 5 stars throughout.

What a bad experience With the main man that was at the till last week. I was walking a baby in the pram while feeling unwell, I stoped and kindle asked for a cup with salt and water as my blood pressure was low. This man denied it to me and asked what I was going to buy! So rude ! Never going back there to buy anything

Avoid this place! I have been humiliated when I asked for tap water! The foreigner cashier denied me it and told me that I had to spend money to get served free water!

The breakfast was poor, had things missing off the plate to what was advertised, my husband queried it with the manager, he just said it was an old picture, he wasn’t bothered. Also the fried eggs were hard, which was mentioned to the assistant, she replaced them with 2 snotty ones that couldn’t be eaten. Very dissatisfying all round. I hope these comments help to improve things, but I doubt it.

The top floor of the shopping mall has a nice environment and is suitable for sitting down and chanting verses.

Great coffee served quickly and big portions

Went in today for the first time, drawn by the name of the venue, excited to have a good espresso. Was met by the rudest barista I have ever met (odd given the fact the chap was middle eastern just like myself- we normally have a great culture of hospitality). I did not mind the grumpy kurd/Egyptian lad hoping the coffee will be worth it. I asked for a blue mountain double espresso to which he replied "is £5" awaiting my answer. I assured him I could actually afford that royal brew and waited patiently for my beverage which I was still very excited about. He proceeded to make it and long story short came up with 70+ milliliters (more than double of what a double espresso should ever be) worth of poorly brewed foamless dark-as-the-pit Costa-looking liquid which resembled the "espressos" delivered by vending machines in eastern Europe, more specifically Romania. I was already heart broken and morose but didn't say anything still holding some faint hope the taste would be at least mediocre given the price and the name of the venue. As sugar was not in sight I asked for it and he sighed and generously provided me with some. I tasted that vile soup and it had absolutely nothing remotely close to a blue mountain espresso apart from some mild acidity which timidly hinted at its origin but had nothing to do with it. I felt robbed and found some sense of relief in the fact that at least tap water was free and so I had saved at least £2. I poured myself a glass and chugged it down to wash the bitter taste of that disgusting espresso-wannabe and noticed that it had the temperature of urine of a pyrexic 70 year old man with sepsis and fever. Whilst I was doing so, another customer was served and mildly verbally abused by the same chap however unlike me he seemed used to that behaviour and took it on the chin showcasing great stoicism. All that would have still been worth if the coffee was at least decent but for espressos aficionados and single origin enthusiasts , that place is a no-go hell-hole. Go to Nero's you'll get a much better bang for your buck and they'll actually serve you a proper espresso not a barrell of bitter soup made of the scrapings from a coffee warehouse floor in Barbados islands. What a disgrace. The only good thing I can mention about that hell-hole was that it was decorated decently and the food smelled alright but the coffee was insulting and offensive, given the name, the price and the expectation that came with it. Absolutely never ever again, what the actual duck..

Still charging 90p just for oat milk, so behind the times for a widely produced product that is no longer premium.

An underrated restaurant. It has amazing food quality and service and the staff were all nice and helpful. I ordered a vegan brunch and a latte. I really like the taste of the homemade chilli jam and the generous amount of avocado on the toast. The mushroom is well cooked and it's really juicy. The tables are really tidy and clean and the overall environment is cozy and welcoming. Will definitely visit again if I come to Kingston.

Expensive for what they give you. The portions are small and the quality is basic. We left after having a basic meal and we were still hungry. My toast was so small that I payed to add a portion of mushrooms and there were exactly two tiny ones. I felt ripped off. Such a shame.

Currently typing this in the restaurant itself. I ordered the American Diner Breakfast and the quantity of food you get for £11.90 is pathetic. You can pretend to fine dine this type of food but realistically they haven't. Two fried eggs, one small sausage, one small pancake, two strips of bacon and one tiny hash brown... Seriously?! It's basically a kids meal!! In fact the kids meal was more satiating than this. Safe to say this place is not worth the money or time. Leaving still hungry is not a good sign! Not recommended and with a vast array of options in Kingston, you'll easily find better places to eat. It wouldn't surprise me if this closes down eventually.

The pancakes are Impeccable, I highly recommend ordering that. The music and service is also great. Had a nice quiet time with friends.

I’ve had lunch twice so far here, both in the past weekend. On both occasions the place was almost empty - probably because the weather was fab and everyone wanted to sit outside. The chicken Caesar salad was nice, I loved the egg they put in it. The eggs Bennie - not so much. Too much boiled spinach, not enough sauce. If I decide to try again something else, I’ll update. Shame the toilet is closed, I know there are toilets in the shopping centre but I wish I didn’t have to walk around for that.

Regularly have coffee here, and have eaten a few times too. Lovely lovely staff. Always really helpful courteous and pleasant. Best coffee in Kingston! Highly recommend 👌🏾

We discovered this lovely cafe today nestled in Bentalls shopping centre , the menu was fantastic very easy to read no frills tasty breakfast/ brunch options. My son loved the pancakes. All beit busy the staff were ver accommodating. Recommend the hot chocolate very decadent .

Went shopping for a present for my birthday with mum who is now 80 and doesn’t get out as much as she once did. She decided to treat me to lunch. She ordered a tuna melt and I had a chicken and chilli wrap. She was so disappointed and fed up. She said she couldn’t taste tuna or cheese. And mine was just slimy. Really dreadful. I don’t think we’ll be going again any time soon.

We purchased a flat white and cappucino and both had a pleasant aroma, good texture, and well-bodied flavor. The service was fast and Imran was very accommodating and friendly. He helped us choose the best Jamaican Blue coffee beans and the right grind for espresso to take home since we also love making our own coffee. Thank you, Imran and Jamaican Blue!! See you next time when we re-fill our beans. ☕️

Service was very slow, with my coffee arriving long after my food and even then only when I reminded the staff. The highlight was I discovered that a Caesar Chicken Sandwich needn't really have anything to do with a Caesar salad (see the picture below).For those in the world who really want chicken, bacon and egg on a roll, but want to tell people that you had a healthy lunch with lots of greens, this is the choice for you!!

what a awful place, came with my son who really wanted to have a croissant. I asked if there were fresh and i was told that they baked this morning - no they werent. 3.6 for a old croissant? sorry but no.

My son and I popped in to compliment our visit to Kingston and the shopping centre as we had never visited the cafe before. At first we thought it was a bit pricey but then we found out why. The food and drinks were all on point. They tasted amazing, were cooked and prepared perfectly and could tell that the ingredients used were of greta quality being able to taste every single one used. The service was quick, polite and professional. If we ever get the opportunity then this is definitely somewhere we will visit again.

Had very bad experience starting with order and payment they tried to charge me different prices then on the menu. Second there is not even pepper on the table or next table waitress had to check all tables to find for me pepper.

Visited today for brunch, ordered Turkish eggs. Both fried eggs were over cooked, attempted to eat some of the dish but couldn’t continue and took my plate back to speak with the manager. I was offered a fresh plate of food but I explained I don’t have time and would prefer a refund at which point I was told that I could only have half a refund due to eating some of the food. Overall it seems that this place lacks the skill and expertise to deliver food that matches the price point. Will not be visiting again.

Not a very pleasant experience when we went for lunch today! We were absolutely starving - and we saw they have gluten free options on the menu! We ordered and had to wait for ages for food to arrive only to realise they messed up the gluten free option - well they did make it right next time...! The food quantity was less when compared to what we paid and it wasn't warm ! Generally unclean tables as well !

Looked promising but disappointing. Tables and floor dirty. Had to ask for our table to be wiped and suggested other tables could do with a clean. Other people came in and walked out as nowhere clean to sit. Service iffy. Lack of motivation all round. Portions small for the price.

There is nothing Jamaican about this place no Jamaican cuisine if anyone is wondering like me soo dissatisfied they should change the name!!

I used to love this place, with their tasty avocado toast and maple bacon accompanied by a blue mountain latte however the amount has reduced. My toast were so small that I finished could finish them in three, four bites. It was also so thin, I feel a bit ripped off. I can’t fully complain as the people are wonderful, the atmosphere was amazing and the taste is still good. I would suggest to pop by for a cup of the blue mountain coffee but I can’t suggest the avocado toast anymore. As someone who used to rave about the toast, I was very disappointed today and don’t think I will come back again too quickly for it. Such a shame.

Best food and coffe in Kingston.

Very poor food presentation and service. Only Coffee is good. Not worth to eat there. It’s at a convenience location.

Shocking came here on Saturday food took ages and service was shocking waiting staff seemed untrained and overwhelmed - tables not cleaned and plates left on tables and needed to ask for it to be cleared. Food arrived cold and next door table were complaining - won’t be back

Worst staff and cafe to work , I gave interview here and the manager made me to wash lot of utensils for 2 hours and then just send me back home didn’t even greet me didn’t even talk to me , didn’t even took my interviews ,manager said he will call didn’t even call, never ever work here. And unhygienic food and place . Humiliate me and staff miss treated me.

personally speaking, i enjoy going to jamaica blue, i’ve been more than once. i always enjoy the ambiance & the food as well as the drinks, it’s such a peaceful place, very relaxing, lovely music too! the people there are lovely & i enjoy going there whenever i’m free.

Decent food, but overpriced for the portion you pay for. Service was poor too, staff looked lackadaisical and had no convenient speed of service. I had ordered an English breakfast that had toast, but when I asked for butter to spread on it, had to wait until I finished the rest of my meal before having to ask again for the butter. At that point the toast had gone cold. No one likes cold toast. Train your staff better and hold yourself up to some standard. I could've gotten half the price and quicker service on any of the other cafes on Fife Road. Not gonna make the same mistake again.

My husband and I visited here for only drink 🫣 it was so hot and our little one was not in good mood, we stepped in. Not busy place. I had strawberries 🍓 milk shake !!! This absolutely great. Specially when you need sugar and cold drink 🍹 my husband ordered iced latte. Coffee tastes was good 👍 and staff are friendly. And place was clean !!! Just next to toilet so it was convenient 😬😬 but I think they don’t have AC so it was not hot to have hot food. We will try next time for food. I do recommend to try milk shakes ☀️☀️

Very bland food; chips appeared force cooked! Expensive

Came on Thursday evening, the place was almost closing up. I asked if we still can order food ( half expecting an answer to be no - which wasn't a big deal) BUT to my surprise they said yes. I ordered steak stuck which I thought was delicious. I am very impressed with the service and staff there always friendly. The coffee and cakes are also very tasty

Had lunch there today eith my husband, we ordered their fish and chips. We expected decent fish and chips at 13 pounds a portion, it was a rubbish poor quality frozen fish and chips out of a packet probably from Iceland. Very disappointed... Will never go there again.

Decor looks good but quality of cooking and portion size is poor. Poached eggs were not fully cooked throughout; uncooked egg white. I was given a very small portion of butter (not the normal individual size in foil packaging). Latte was overpriced: £4.50! Hopefully this is a ‘one-off’. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Had Chai tea and Turkish eggs. Chai tea was good however the Turkish eggs was very disappointing, was a fried egg with some bread, humous and sauces on the side. Lacked flavour. Wouldn't go back

First timer, only went in because Waterstone's opposite only had paper cups. Both my large cappuccino and my wife's latte were good sized, well made and a good temperature. Croissants at £2.80 were a bit over the top but very good flavour. £13.40 "all in" whilst a bit steep was at least of a high standard.

The food here isn’t bad, it’s infact pretty good, the service however lets it down, there is never enough staff and the food takes a long time to arrive. My main issue is the lack of toilets, as a restaurant serving food and drinks it has a legal obligation to provide bathrooms for employees and customers. I am extremely unhappy that when I asked a team member where the bathrooms where I was told to use the bentall centre facilities where due it being New years Eve I had to wait 20 minutes to use the bathroom due to the queue being out the door. This is unacceptable and the team member also had no clue how long the customer toilets had been broken, leading me to believe this has been an ongoing issue. Health and safety and lack of facilities within the premises especially in case of emergencies and health complaints requiring quick access to toilets this is actually pretty irresponsible. Please do something about this!

great place, went there with my wife and kids and they loved it. Wife and I shared the jerk burger and then we enjoyed a melted chocolate mud cake which was served with cream, kids had the all-day kids brekkie and plates were cleared. Will be coming back.

Such a nice place to visit, although the restaurant was very busy but they gave their best service by providing such delicious food, I have visited their with my family and orderd bakewell oats, bacon eggs benny and shrooms on toast. litterlly I love this experience

A really lovely place. A good choice in food and drink for a good price. I had the pancakes which came with bacon which was a nice touch. The staff are also very friendly, definitely would go back.

Decor looks nice and staff were pleasant, Overpriced for what you get, big brekkie not very big, only a tiny piece of toast, baked beans were stone cold scrambled egg and bacon did not taste like it a been cooked fresh just reheated. Coffee’s we’re nice and that’s all I can say really.

Met my sisters for a day out in Kingston decided to have the breakfast £65 for 4 undercooked, hash browns still frozen in the middle and staff couldn’t care less. NEVER AGAIN

Really small Portions for the price- very disappointing. I ordered the Turkish eggs- 2 fried eggs, some hummus, yogurt, wilted spinach and one small piece of flat bread. This was more like a starter and everything was disconnected and very simple on the plate.

Spent £40+ to have our order forgotten and wait over 1 hour for food. Got our drink order wrong and staff wouldn’t change it to what we had asked for. Menu says Avo Smash comes with egg, but have to pay extra to add egg. Staff rude and had to wait for 3rd person to actually help us with where our order was. Avo was unripe and toast cold to top it all off! UPDATE at 8:30pm that night - we also both became unwell on our journey home!!! Will not be going back and would not recommend in the slightest.

Had a really great English breakfast, sausages were delicious and everything on the plate was tasty and hot. Lovely Manager very helpful and polite.

First time experience was lovely, we had bought the fish and chips which my daughter loved, salmon eggs benny which my husband had said was perfection I had the Caesar chicken salad which was nice as the chicken had nice flavour, but to be honest it did not look like a salad bur then again it could have been there standard of a salad, overall very nice would go again as the coffee was tasty

Rarely encountered an eatery where they mess up simple things like chips (under cooked/fried), pancakes (undercooked) and scrambled eggs (heavily overcooked).. the “italian” style panini could have salvaged it but even that was bland.. not sure how they managed to accomplish that. Nice outside seating for the kids.. so I’ll give em that.

This cafe looks nice but the food was so disappointing. The menu says the Avo Smash came with cherry tomatoes and eggs but at the till I was told the eggs were extra and no tomatoes arrived. Long wait for the food. Extremely expensive for the tiniest avocado on toast I've ever had and one overdone egg. I wish I'd read the reviews on here before we decided to eat here. Will never go again!

Coffee and cheesecake here is really good, service could be better like cleaning tables more regularly or offering table service but it’s overall a pleasant place to go with a cute atmosphere

Never again , waste of money . Bland food. The chips were obviously frozen then done in the air fryer. The fish was out of probably an Iceland pack. The lemon slice was at least a week old. Sad such a prominent location but terrible food. Service so so .

Visited this place for the first time and the experience was really disappointing. The service was awful - two stroppy teenage girls that look like they don't want to be there. Well the food was even worse. We ordered fish and chips and honestly it looked and tasted exactly like the frozen ones you'd buy from tesco, maybe even worse because they managed to burn ours. The chips were also the frozen oven type. Small portions and costed £10.50 each. The only thing good about the place was the decor. Will not be returning and I suggest they get some fresh fish in! Shocking

I worked here for a month and a half, during the whole time i expected a contract but i wasnt given one, because of this I decided to leave and in the end the boss of this particular cafe did not want to pay me. He owed me more than £900, we had agreed on £9.50ph but he said he would pay me minimum wage (6.83). In the end I had to take care of the situation and even then he only paid me £500 (which with the amount of hours i had accumulated it wasn't covering even with minimum wage). A man who does not keep his word, truly disappointing.

Half cooked bacon, over cooked eggs, long wait for food, wrong coffee.

I wanted to order the ‘eggs anyway’ but was told they couldn’t make poached eggs but I could have them fried or scrambled. My husband ordered ‘Turkish Eggs’ and it looked nothing like the one on the website. I should have taken a photo. A real disappointment.

Lovely place. Got variety of food and a few cakes and coffees as well. We tried some vegetarian toasties which was delicious. Coffee was good. Atmosphere is nice, quiet chill and relaxed. Staff are friendly and helpful. The price is fine. Not very expensive. First time in this branch which turned into a good experience. Would go back again.
