Hot Rod Burgers in Kingston upon Thames

Ordered through Deliveroo and got served what they call “food”…the burger was raw and still pink inside, the “hotdog” was not a hotdog at all but rather a chippie sausage on top of hotdog bun which wasn’t even intact at the bottom. The onion rings were burnt and cold whilst the fries were stale and old, which they tried to mask with piri piri powder. Looking at the other reviews, it shows I’m not the only one who’s had the same problems…DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISING WITH A SIDE OF COLD FRIES…

Genuinely can't believe how bad this place has got. Used to be a favourite a few years back but I guess it's changed owenrs. Food terrible, atmosphere even worse. Told they don't serve food clearly on the menu. Shocked at how bad a place can fall

Kebabs very good and the staff are very happy to tailor our order - pretty good prices too, always happy with our kebabs

***2024 Edit: This place is now a standard kebab joint. Not the same anymore.*** Really great burger and piri piri place. Flavoursome 6oz burger in Brioche buns and the piri piri chicken is amazing. There's limited seating, though, which is a little annoying, but the food and service are great. Good value for money, too!

This restaurant I should not even call it a restaurant the staff working in it has the worst attitude ever. I got served like I was a servant not a customer and it says it’s HALAL but the certificate was expired in 2021 3 years ago

Got the worst food poisoning! Ordered through Deliveroo called “Chick’N’Bun”, my friends and I had awful food poisoning after eating the chicken burgers. I’ve suffered every symptom matching to salmonella poisoning.

We ordered this via Deliveroo (where they are called Chick'n'bun) and got the worst food poisoning ever - all 3 of us got it so would avoid! They obviously change the name on Deliveroo to overcome the bad ratings

Not satisfied: I have been living in this area for last 4 years and last night I went to garb something from them but wings were not cooked well and it had something red in it. They boys were not helpful or friendly..... food is not over there. I don't know why I can't upload the pictures of wings 😫

Worst food I have had in the area.... chicken was old, re-fried, overcooked and dry, burger was the same, nothing fresh. Quality of the food and ingredients were extremely poor. Not sure how a food business like this can survive. AVOID!

Burgers are great . Just we asked no onion and one of them had onions . In general , nice place to eat fast and move further.

Very ok food. Customer service good quality. Seating inside is very uncomfortable. Got SObe burger meal which came to 11.99. Service was quick and I was out the door in 10 minutes. Burger was really bad. Burnt smash patty and the sauce was like boiling water with a really bad taste. Very sour and somehow tasteless. Chips weren’t great either. Even salt and pepper couldn’t save them. Overall very disappointed

Ordered a SoBe burger from here on Deliveroo and 100% got food poisoning. Have been bed ridden for 3 days. Eat here at your own risk.

My only complaint is that I don't have the capacity to eat more than two items. The tastes are so fresh and tasty. The meat is really nice and juicy!! The whole family loved this experience. We ordered directly from them, and to be honest, I think this is a much nicer experience in customer service and no horrendous service and delivery charges. Unlike the "other" options. The personal touch makes the experience.

Where do I start I’m absolutely terrified. Ordered food from this place for many years. Not only to be punched across the face by the delivery driver for arguing with him for being late by 3 n half hours when my family was all gone to sleep! The police is dealing with the incident!

Worse place I’ve been . Was waiting 20 minutes for my food only to ask where the food is , only for them to tell me that they forgot to start cooking mine .. waited 40 minutes for chicken wings .

Probably best burgers in the town, specially because we can totally customise them. Really friendly staff One of my regulars….!!!

If I could give zero I would!!! Ordered from uber eats at around 00:30. My food finally arrived at 01:30 ( I live a 3 min drive away) and my food was freezing cold. My milkshake was warm and my chips were so cold I couldn’t eat them. Very angry with the service I have received. At this sort of time there cannot be that many people ordering and I am very close by there is no reason for my food to be cold. It was my first and definitely my last time there. Possibly the worst meal I've had in such a long time, the chicken "fillet" burger was barley a fillet it was essentially a chicken steak burger. The meal was barley hot & the drink they gave me was not cold at all & they still have a minimum card payment which is against the law. Definitely will not recommend stay away!!

Good food. One of the guys hates his job, so he behaves funny. I like the youngest one, he is so welcoming and makes cooks nice chicken

Terrible service and would not reccomend. Small dinghy place with uncomfortable chairs. I ordered the half grilled chicken and sweet potatoe fries which came to £8.20. Shocked when I was told this did not include a drink. Anyway, when the food arrived, chicken was burnt and had no taste to the flavour. Lady behind the counter had attitude and really couldn't be bothered no wonder the place is empty. Waste of money

Best Peri dishes in town, I'm a regular at this place, their rice is the best dish around and the staff are very friendly. Hygienic and quick service, would recommend this place for anyone that wants grilled chicken and beef burgers.

Ordered a Philly cheese steak..... no peppers just tasted like fried onions and a little bit of cheese ......barely any steak. Not nice at all it was disgusting and quite frankly overpriced for fried onions in bread. The service is very poor and not fast at all. It’s not as gret as it may seem.

Rubbish rubbish rubbish.... I just visit this restaurant and i was very hungry, they are Working without gloves and no tweezers ,catch the food and by his hands so fully disgusting, when i asked him to stop touch my food by his hands he said to me that he just washed his hands ....doesn't understand what you need ,doing different things without any of experience , Also charged me extra money which is £13.5 for two chicken burger +one beef Not recommended at all ...

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE this place, the food there is on another level (mouth watering). Every time I pass there on my way home, I just have to go in and get some of finger-licking good grilled chicken and seasoned fries. Oh and the rice is 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 a definite MUST TRY! Prices are reasonable especially for us students! Definitely would recommend 💯

The prices are really cheap for the quality of food they offer. I am a regular and always go there for their juicy half chicken and rice and sometimes for the Angus Majestic Burger! You also need to try the Beef Philly Cheese Steak and their American Special Hot Dog. The staff are always energetic and friendly. One of the few places I actually recommend

Great quality halal food all cooked to order. Lovely friendly staff and service. Try it, you won't be disappointed and won't have Mcdonald burgers again, these are much much better quality
