Costa Coffee in Kingston upon Thames

The manager and two other members of staff, one named Aingaran Paramsothy, were so lovely and gave my daughter a free meal and babycino when we were struggling today. I honestly cannot thank them enough and I really really appreciate their act of kindness, my daughter and I will remember this always

I've visited this Costa branch multiple times throughout the year, my latest visit was this week (June 24). Staff at this Costa could not give less of a damn if they tried, I understand that there is a high demand and they must be very busy and stressed. However this is a customer facing role in a Hospital, being rude and having a moody expression is the last thing people want to experience. Not to mention the inconsistencies of heated items, myself and my partner got 2 wraps, one was scalding hot all over and the other one was hot on the outside and fridge cold in the middle, despite being heated at the same time. Just to further point out that the promotional / limited edition drinks are never in stock, every time I've ever asked for a new interesting drink being advertised on screen, I'm told that one or more ingredients are not in stock.

Considering that the Costa is situated inside a Hospital you would think that the staff could at least keep a smile on their faces. Unpleasant lady at the till, no interest in the job. Same for the lady who made the coffee, left it on the side without telling me it was ready to pick up.

Incredibly busy but the staff kept up with demand as efficiently as possible. Coffee tasted on par with other Costas. Only thing it needs is a bin accessible to customers.

The staff here are amazing. They always make my coffee frappe with a smile.

When you come along to bring an elderly friend for a hospital appointment, finding a Costa Coffee is a welcome relief for those who need it. This is such a busy place for staff, visitors as inmates alike, as well as those bringing people for appointments, as I have. Both staff members were helpful, efficient and polite, and had a smile for everyone. My Mac and Cheese lunch went down a treat, along with a medium oat latte.

Been going here often for the past week whilst my wife has been in hospital as it is the closest place to grab a coffee. The coffee has been awful however the one star review is due to down to the staff. The coffee is always scalding hot and every member of staff has been either rude or simply unpleasant.

The Costa Coffee in the front of Kingston Hospital i used on Sunday , first time. Very well run by 1 lady who was quick, efficient and friendly. On her own she was more efficient than some coffee shops that have a lot more staff ! Recommended.

Good place to sit with a coffee and to watch the pretty girls go by..going about their business.. Great for a boy/Man...

They only accept card payment, I stood there like a mug in a long queue, just for them to tell me, no cash, disgusting, cant even pay in the currency of my own country. Costa coffee, boycotted forever!!!

A small busy space within Kingston Hospital. Other options available. But a welcomed break after a hospital visit. Friendly colleagues.

No coffee!!!!! Felt for the staff. Understaffed, dealing with disgruntled customers ( which they handled very well). Full marks to the staff on duty that day.

Iv just popped passed to pick up a coffee for my journey home only to be served by an extremely rude lady named Claudia! She just say YES and looked at me with a very disgruntled look & said very rudely no coffee for the next ten minutes & then mumbled something to her colleagues! She then did this to a little older lady behind me! I’m aware it’s the end of the day - but you don’t talk to paying customers like that!

It's ok but a small coffee outlet in the corner of a hospital entrance is never going to be great.

As I use the hospital a lot ,Costa is always busy, but wish there was more tables and chairs, love there coffee

For a hospital, it is very welcome, but it was all a bit chaotic, but the service was very good

Quite dissatisfied with service at the till where it appeared a member of the hospital cleaning staff was serving, Messed up my gift card & discreetly discarded my receipt. Not service I expect from Costa. Coffee was good.

Coffee doesn't taste the same as other Costas. Night staff always rude and in a grumpy mood but this is the only one open in Kingston Hospital.

I went to Costa Coffe about one week ago, it's a nice place and also clean, but they have 2 problems, first of about price of everything is so high, and also they don't take money by cash only card acceptable.

I love Costa coffee but not from here! Staff were uninterested and coffee was weak but the bacon sandwich was tasty. All the tables were untidy but it was the only choice at Kingston hospital.

Not a good Costa staff grumpy and place is boiling hot lacking seating and adequate ventilation.

Disappointing on several occasions. The cakes are melting on display. They don’t take cash which isn’t helpful. Always seems like a lot of staff moving about but getting your coffee isn’t exactly efficiency done. Your a customer that doesn’t have a choice to vote with your feet as it’s that or nothing.

Coffee ok but oven was off at 5.30pm even though it is open until 8pm. Wouldn't be a massive problem apart from the fact that everything but an overpriced pack of prawns needed that oven. Very poor. Patients and relatives alike deserve better.

excellent service I dropped my drink outside and they gave me a new one without payment top service

Been there after two night sleeping at the hospital i ordered a drink i did confirm TWICE to have a extra hot flat white but still it was as cold as tab water and the guy mixed customers drinks and said customer should know there drinks as i do shout once .i was right in front of him and he didn’t call my drink so .drink was very cold and customer service was very poor and no sandwiches or drinks on the shelves doesn't look like Costa at all i feel very disappointed

So excellent service from Alexandra at 2am Sunday morning April 10th at Costa concession inside Kingston Hospital. Firstly well done Costa for being open.....you provided a much needed coffee boost mid way through a 5 hour trip to A&E. And well done Alexandra....first class, pleasant, energetic and helpful assistance in the small hours of what was probably a long shift! Well done and thank you!

Amazing staff and Amazing service and attitude. Perfect start Mondays :)

Staff were not particularly friendly but efficient. Toasted sandwich seemed to take a while but was delicious. Not much else I'd order from them though. Sandwich I also bought was bland and there was not much choice in cakes.

I've been in hospital for nearly two weeks and leaving the ward to get a drink and sit outside is pretty much all i can do, so im there every day. I cannot believe how often this costa runs out of things! Who on earth is managing the stock? Every time the sun comes out they run out of ice. They completely ran out of decaff last week which was disappointing for all the patients staying or visiting the huge maternity block about 10m away :). Today they have run out of coconut milk - my only source of calcium for my pregnancy. So i asked for a fruit cooler and was advised they have no ice today! They are also not very patient with patients that can barely stand up. I love costa but this one is pretty dire :)

It's a Costas like many with one important difference: They won't serve hot foot after 18:30. Be aware of that.
