Jam Restaurant and Coffee Shop in Belfast

I took my son here today as a wee treat.omg it’s so expensive £9.95 for a small baked potato with beans that’s a rip off. I know with the cost of living everywhere is so expensive but come on so got two baked potatoes one with beans one with tuna and a chicken wrap two coke £37.95 should have gone to subway at least his wrap wouldn’t be burnt definitely not for me at that price

Just the worst food served cold and paid £35 for the privilege - for a fish and chip (meant to be cod definitely not) and a cheese burger - both I have had better from a chip van and 2 pump soft drinks not even real cans - when I complained her answer was - that’s what it is try belfast for it - I Will

Ordered toasties thinking it would be quick as we were in a hurry and starving. 15 mins later we asked would it be much longer and waiter said it would be down shortly. Starving I ran to savers nearby to get a bar of chocolate. When I came back food was still not there. 25 mins after we place order, a waitress came down as we were looking to see what is wrong and eating our chocolate and she said there wasn't enough room in the oven so our toasties haven't even been made yet, never mind being put in oven but she said she would do them in a few mins. I asked specifically would the cheese be fully melted though as I want it done right and she said 'yes that's what a toastie is'. She then made them and put them in oven and when they came down the cheese wasn't even melted and was a lumpy. We paid for order, no apology or anything. No discount for the disappointing service. Won't ever return.

The staff are great food quick love the frys value for money did not have long to wait on a table and is very clean will be back 👌

Disappointing. The menu is basic very basic. No 'extra' options so unable to see the price of added things like plain chips etc. Ordered a toastie and the lady asked did we want it with chips and salad , presuming they were included we said no chips just salad and coleslaw. Food came and it wasn't a toastie well not my interpretation. It came with coleslaw and then a plate with salad and more coleslaw. I ordered a baked potato with cheese and beans. It came with the cheese melted and not very much of it and cheap beans which tasted vile. Baked potato was cooked through but lacked flavour. The skin wasn't crispy and it was served with a tomato slice and a few bits of lettuce. We got the bill and were surprised that it was over £30. Checked bill and a glass of flat coke was £2.80 salad and coleslaw where not included as we where lead to believe and we had been charged just over £5 for this. Had we of known it wasn't included and the price of it, we would not have got it. It isn't a lot of money it's more just the way it was put out to us. I guess the staff try to upsell and I don't have an issue with that providing I'm being told the price so I can make the decision. Food wasn't great, very underwhelming and the flat coke was over priced. Staff where very friendly dispute the issue. I know I could have said something in store but I imagine it's the manager/owner that sets the menu/pricing etc so no point taking it put on the waiting staff

I love this café. Very pleasant staff, place always spotlessly clean lovely food and really nice coffee. I accidentally left my purse behind one day and a staff member walked all around the shopping centre looking for me to give it back. Excellent service all round.

Excellent cafe with great menu in heart of West Belfast. Nice and clean and pleasant staff. Have visited a few time and pleased every time.

Nipped in for a quick coffee and scone. Ended up with a big floury peppered chicken sub and a delish crunchy tuna sandwich. Great food and really friendly service. Will definitely be back.

Was a regular customer here, as I work in the area. No way can I justify the exorbitant prices now. Very disappointed in owners greed!

A little jem it was great to find a restaurant in a shopping mail that serves real food not over priced coffee and cakes,we have passed Jam quite a few times it as always being full,now I can see why this time we got their at the right time in between breakfast and lunch,the gentleman running front of house could not have being more helpful as my wife is disabled he found us a easy access table near the back not to far from the toilet ,the place is well lit and very pleasant ,staff very helpful and very attentive ,the food was very good came out in no time at all,we will be back if you are ever in Belfast head up the M1 motorway out of Belfast to you see the big balls art work over the motorway get off there Park Center on your right,if ever fancy leaving your diet sheet off for the day this is the place to go for a Ulster Fry.

Had the misfortune of having to have breakfast here twice because of meeting a friend and there being nowhere else to sit down in the Centre and have anything to eat or drink. It is a horrible little place, food was absolutely vile, breakfast items shrivelled up and dripping in oil. Wasn't cheap either - in fact grossly over priced... best avoided unless you like your caked in oil and food thrown at you.

Right .... I was being sarcastic. you would get a better meal if you stood behind a slurry tanker with your mouth open

beef was tough, potatoes tasted burnt and gravy tasted like it was off. Couldn’t eat my meal it was totally disgusting.

We stopped here on our way to do the Black Cabbie Tour and then Titanic Museum and then Giants Causeway and the bridge. We didnt have much time, but we went in and immediatly were greeted by 2 lovely friendly ladies behind the counter. We ordered hot sandwhiches, I had the Ham and Cheese Toastie and a large cup of tea with milk. Firstly the ladies made our food as fast as they could-and were sooo nice! the toastie was DELICIOUS!! the bread awesome and really good quality cheese and meat. The tea was great. The display glass with food was very inviting, wish I lived nearby to try other dishes. The total was 8.35 pounds, which was a very good deal. I tipped the ladies, but wished I'd tipped more, they were really lovely and friendly. Thx you!!!

Always drop in here for a pit stop and get vegetable broth/soup. It is really wholesome,hot and good for you. It comes with wheaten bread and water if you want. It costs 4.25 stg. There are lovely cakes and tray bakes. Sandwiches and meals. I fully recommend it. Friendly city type cafe.

I have been coming here regularly for a few months now. I always have the jumbo fry. It’s amazing!!! and the staff are lovely too.

Brilliant little cafe, big menu. Food was quick and tasty, clean premises and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it.

When Jam opened, I ate there at least once a week for either breakfast or lunch. Initially the food was very nice and fresh but more recently I have noticed that it has gone downhill. The food is definitely not as fresh, bordering onto stale and inedible. We ordered a basic burger and a chicken wrap last week. The burger meat tasted reheated and we had to send it back. The chicken in the wrap was very chewy and not like what I previously ate a few months previously. Teapots need a good clean and shine. Quite over priced in my opinion

Cold food over priced sauce bottles disgusting plastic refilled not clean and very poor service.. ordered breakfast got a small when paid for a Jambo large .. when finally arrived half of it was cold coffee was cold and staff had cheek to pop heads put of kitchen laughing almost like are you going to eat that very odd and not a nice experiance.Will avoid.
