Frankie & Bennys in Belfast

Menu was limited in my view for lunch options. No wraps or soups/lighter options at the weekend apparently. Staff server lady was very pleasant. Food just ok, nothing special & nothing I can't make in the house. Restaurant was clean & nicely decorated. We won't be back however due to menu options & prices which were not value nor money.

Chips were stone cold. And that was the best bit. A £28 platter consisting of 4 unbelievably over-cooked chicken goujons, 2 sauceless and dry wings and a mound of cold freezer chips, along side a portion of flavourless wet ribs. And what on the menu was described as “a juicy steak skewer” but in reality was four rabbit dropping sized nuggets of simultaneously over salted yet tasteless shoe leather. Other than a thimbleful of admittedly nice coleslaw, no garnish. None of the allegedly famous bbq beans. £28. Going to repeat that - £28 My wiiiiife’s chicken burger was “ok”, but again with the now familiar portion of cold freezer chips accompaniment. One son’s burger was burned and the other son’s £15 carbonara was a small yellow puddle in the bottom of a bowl. We got them a McDonald’s on the way home. Genuinely I wouldn’t have put it in front of the kids if I’d made it on a lazy oven chips Sunday. Never mind paying £110 for it. Mentioned to the manager when he asked was our meal ok - and without us asking he gave us a £40 “managers discount” - so £70 for four diabolically bad meals rather than £110. He was very polite. Even asked “was £40 off enough” - but behind his strained smile was a look of stoic resignation. I get the feeling that “managers discount” button on the till is well used. On the drive home, very unusually, we all agreed with each other. Worst meal ever. Well done Frankie. Well done Benny. You made us laugh together. Unfortunately it was at you.

I usually love their food, but this visit was very disappointing. The food quality for the price really wasn't worth it. There are other better options in the complex.

Good pizza. Service was quick on a busy Sunday night. Atmosphere was pleasant. It felt like all the staff were looking after us.

We visited on a Saturday night approximately 18.30. I went in to ask about a table for 9 people for my daughter's birthday group. A man told me it would be 30 mins for a table. As I looked around there was empty tables with no reservation sign on them and the outside tables were not been used They didn't take a name as I was asked to wait outside. As I was outside I asked a few people who were also waiting and they had been told 45mins with no name taken. Eventually after sending in my wife and the other people going in we got a table. The order was taken and arrived. I got the side dish of barbecue beef chips, when it arrived there was 3 bits of meat about 1/2 inch in length and the chips were cold. We had planned to go to Cosmo but it was closed for a makeover so I eat the chips anyway. The dishes were shocking, one dish looked like a birds eye bit of chicken and a drained tin of spaghetti beside it. I honestly don't know where the photos on their website come from but I certainly won't be back .

Food was amazing. We also had dessert and it was just as great. Lovely atmosphere and customer service was fantastic. Could not fault anything. We will be back again soon

I selected bbq chicken which looked great on the menu but when it came it was basically a chicken fillet with melted cheese and a bit of bacon on the top served with oven chips and two onion rings. It was very basic and the annoying thing was it cost me £17.95 which is extortionate. I asked for mayo for my chips and I was amazed when the bill came they tried to charge me £1.25 for this extra- I told the waitress I wasn’t paying for that and to be fair she took it off the bill. Staff were ok atmosphere a bit dead and the food wasn’t great and very expensive- definately won’t be going there ever again.

I went for food with my friends during the afternoon. Wasn’t too busy and the food was delicious. The meal was exceptionally enjoyable though because of our server Janaki. She was so pleasant and attentive with our table and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 service. She was a star. Would come again just for her.

First time visiting this restaurant and couldn’t have been more pleased. We were served by a lovely girl named Janaki who was very pleasant and attentive to us. She kept coming back to ask if we needed anything. Was very impressed with this young girl. We are pensioners and appreciated her lovely manner. The food was served so quickly and was delicious. Ok, I get it, it's a big franchise, kpi's, targets etc .... but, in every big name franchise restaurant is normal human people who can make or break the experience. This one - dynamite.

Went for lunch here yesterday 6/7/24 we were shown to a table straight away by a very nice chap called Justin who helped us make some choices from the menu. food and drinks were served really quickly and was very tasty. Justin also took time to talk with us which made our visit even more pleasant will definitely visit again

This is probably the worst place to order a sallad 😅. We ordered takeaway ceasarsallad and got only lettuce, 2-3 baby tomatoes, and additionally added chicken. In general, ceasarsallad here is only lettuce and tomatoes. No eggs, no salt, no oliveoil, no peppar (except kn chicken), nothing. So, if you want to pay 14 pounds for lettuce, tomatoes, and chicken, then do it 😅 A Caesar consists of a green salad of romaine lettuce and croutons dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, eggs, worcestershire sauce, anchovies, garlic, dijon mustards,  parmesan and black pepper.

Ordered sprite, they came with sparkling water, took 30 minutes to get my actual drink and got a small cup compared to what I paid for, chips were terrible and they even forgot the bacon in my burger, food took ages to come and waiter was rude

The service was excellent very kind staff and if you want you can see your food made in the kitchen, For the Food its still delicious but in my opinion in the older location the Frankie’s Feaster was much better and worth its money, now you get much less for the same price, also the atmosphere was better before more American.

So pleased to be seated here had made reservations for places elsewhere but turned away due to age after specifying age when reserving table but frankies and bennys seated us nicely so pleased with food will definitely recommend absolutely fantastic vibe and staff where so pleasant and kind

Waiting for the food to come to the table for over an hour. We were sat at a table with air con blowing at our faces and asked if it could be turned off and they ignored ! We sat with our jackets on the whole time. I would say the staff were not accommodating to our needs in the slightest.

The fried chicken appetizer was quite acceptable and made for a decent starter. However, I must say the Margarita was very disappointing, and I would not recommend it at all. It has a great atmosphere and service, I hope they make their food better.

Food was ok wouldn’t be going out of my way to go here again , waited nearly an hour for food to arrive kids were starved , they did offer us free dessert for the delay but at that point we had wasted enough time and just wanted to get out of there

I was there on Sunday. Just a quick lunch. Fries and chicken wings are the best in Belfast 🤩 The waitress in glasses was very friendly and polite. Definitely will come back

Will start by saying I appreciate Frankie & Benny's is never gonna be fine dining. And I'll caveat by saying it was a busy Saturday and the staff got us a table at the outside bit and we're very nice and accommodating. However, the food was terrible unfortunately. I ordered the chicken burger and chips and upgraded the fries to buffalo chicken fries. They were lukewarm at best, frozen quality fries and the portion of chicken with them was minimal. The chicken burger was adequate if I was paying a fiver from a post-nightclub takeaway but poor from a restaurant. My partner ordered a hotdog. All the hotdogs on the menu were vegan. We were optimistic to give it a try but it was one of the worst hotdogs he ever tasted. All in all very poor and between 2 meals and drinks was £44 - have paid much less for much better elsewhere and don't think I'll be back.

This was a fantastic restaurant to come across, they're so accommodating for folks with allergies and when you let them know you have any, they automatically provide an allergen list for their whole menu. The staff is very kind and are always making sure you're having a great meal. The restaurant is very lovely inside, I'm absolutely coming back here when I inevitably come back to Belfast 💖

We were served food badly preserved . My husband got food poisoning and spent a couple of days very sick in the hotel room. We had to cancel a day trip already booked (and couldn’t take get a refund by the way) I definitely wouldn’t recommend eating a this place, such a pity!

We had the most amazing dinner night out at F&B. The environment is beautiful (exterior and interior) with beautiful decor and seat arrangements. Staff were very polite and professional. A few things on the menu were not available, but the available ones were great.

If I could give no stars I would. Sat 10 mins for a high chair and half and hour our drinks order wasn't even taken. Four tables that came in after us were all served. Ridiculous. Will not be back. Poor service and staff. Definitely not family friendly.

Good place to eat if you are celiac. They have gluten-free food and they are careful. Good service. I went to eat late so I didn't have to wait to get in and they served me the food quickly. It is located inside the shopping center. The only thing I have to say is the cost. The food seemed expensive, but especially the drink. For a Coca-Cola and a small pizza it was almost €20

We popped in for Sunday lunch. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The food was very tasty and filling. The cheese was a uniform spread over my gluten and dairy free pizza. Vegan milkshake was thick.

Driest chicken burger on the planet. Extremely over priced and somehow even the fries were bland and unappealing. Staff were nice and helpful however the food is so bad that it's better to avoid and go to nandos instead

This is the worst carbonara pasta I’ve ever eaten, it was so bland, tasteless and the quantity was very very small. I will not advise anyone to buy pasta from Frankie’s and benny’s because it will be a waste of money.

Food was ok. Starters were nice especially the garlic bread pizza. The Carbonara looked great in presentation but lacked in flavour and seasoning. Burger was fine but bacon could off been cooked longer as was very pale altho once removed as wasn't to my taste burger was ok. Staff were nice and friendly.

My husband and I had the most amazing service by this young lady called Ellie or Ella.. omg she was extremely friendly and so polite honestly the best service we’ve had in any restaurant.. well done.. x

My daughter had her 10th birthday dinner party in this restaurant and i was super impressed with the services and food, loved the burgers and pizza. I booked a table for 16 people, 11 kids and 5 adults. Very grateful for the waitresses who attended to us, they were patient and kind to the kids and made sure everybody was satisfied with their orders, will definitely book a table again for any special occasions

The waitress was polite and took our order quickly , Took nearly 10 minutes to bring two cokes. My daughter ordered the carbonara i thought she was being dramatic when she said it was tasteless, i tried it and there was no flavour at all, i had the lasagne tbh it was ok but a small portion which they tried to disguise by adding tomatoes around the bowl. I thought it came with fries it didnt which was fine so asked for fries which were brought to the table literally in seconds, they were basically crisp shells clearly some that were left and simply put back into heat up. Can honestly say i wont be back waste of £43

We ate here after they moved to their new location in Victoria Square. Service was very slow. We waited ages for someone to take our order for mains, asked to see the dessert menu and waited ages for that so we gave up and got the bill instead. Again, we had to wait for ages and I had to ask for it twice.

Delivery was a decrease pizza and garlic pizza stuck to the other side of box carbonara spilled out of the box

The low rating isn't a reflection on the food as it was made, only the food as delivered. My order hung on "driver at restaurant, they're waiting to pick up your order" for roughly 35 minutes, and when the order was finally picked up, the driver first drive 20 minutes in the opposite direction of my house to deliver another order. By the time my pizza arrived, it was... Lukewarm, if I'm being generous. Reheating it at home was not an option as I don't have the means to do so. Frankie and Benny's does really nice pizza and garlic pizza breads, but justeat let the side down on this one.

Extremely over priced for quality and quantity of food. If you are going to charge these prices the food should be better. £17 for a small piece of chicken and chips is day light robbery. Wouldn't come back.

no where did it say that there was anything extra in the mac n xcheese that would make it spicy, which my child is allergic to. you really need to put it out there especially if it’s a dish that isn’t normally spicy. a treat gone wrong.

service was great, woman who served us cudnt have been more friendly or helpful. but unfortunately the food was well below average. i got the meatballs and pasta - meatballs were dry, hard and rubbery - definitely a microwave job. others in my group got the mac cheese which again was well below average. someone got the pizza which wasnt too bad but overall the food was well below even what i thought a chain like F&B would provide and it was very expensive to boot. defo nowhere near worth the money and will not return, not recommended.

Had my dinner with my family and the restaurant could not provide most of the signature dishes. Ordered a tea and it’s a bit tasteless and not hot enough. Pastas were fine. Staff members were not really friendly. I rated 2/5 for this dinner experience.

Worst meal I’ve had in a long time for the price took my partner and child out yesterday ordered a stake medium rare came well done ribs where seasoned with sugar that’s it apple pie only half was warm Long Island ice tea was just vodka and coke I’ve learned from my mistakes and will never step foot in the place again also bill was £120 for the worst meal of my life

I was really disappointed the size of the meal was small and It wouldn’t fill my 2 year old up. I just don’t think the amount of food justifys the price and there was hardly any topping on either of the pasta dishes and it tasted bland have made better at home for so much cheaper

I was in Belfast for the day. Had breakfast here. Hot,delicious and served with a smile from lovely waitress. I will definitely recommend to friends visiting Belfast.

A very nice place, courteous, fast and excellent service. We ordered a hamburger. We were not asked about the degree of doneness we were asking for. The hamburger that was served was a little overdone.

Foods nice enough but service was incredibly slow and when asked after twenty mins where my drink was the waiter told me she was busy as she had a whole restaurant to do completely ignoring my query. (I was aware that you were busy however this came off as very brash and impolite :/) UPDATE WAITER WHO GAVE BILL WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND NICE, VOIDING THE DRINK IN QUESTION.

We attended this restaurant yesterday Saturday 15/7 (table 31) and ordered two double stack beef burgers that were clearly frozen. Our bill including nuggets and chips and some drinks was over £50. I don't mind paying for good food but this was taking the mick.

Service was rubbish on Thursday 13 th Offering of set menu was in available as was meat balls when ordered.wait time exceeded 45 minutes.manager could have not cared less didn’t have the courage to advise price concession at check out . Would not dine there again or any other outlets.witnessed staff member cleaning up a spill throwing papers towels on the floor moving them around by her foot .too lazy to do a proper job or at least disinterested .other diners need to be warned about this poor establishment in Belfast.

Was stuck on "assigning a driver" for over an hour then just switched to "delivered", never came. Had to request a refund manually. Not the first time this has happened.

Bad service and I do not recommend going to this disgusting restaurant. And I hope that you will apologize to the food delivery driver that you refused to give the order to, otherwise I will have to share the driver's story with my friends and relatives, and they will report this bad service.

Just an okay restaurant with slow service! Had the carbonara, and it was just okay. My brother has been here twice and on both occasions they didn't have meatballs pasta.

Me and my partner are regulars and we love the place. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the food is fab! Would highly recommend as it's one of the best spots in Belfast!!

Great service and super tasty food. A birthday treat and just mentioning that got us a 20% discount!!! 🤗🤗🤗 couldn’t be happier with the lovely waiter, so attentive throughout. I’m
