Great food, friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere, just very expensive.

The steaks we received was perfect however there was no Asahi beer available on draught due to waiting to receive it from the supplier and there was no wagyu sirloin steaks available either. Just think for the money your paying everything should be available to order from the menu but the food we did receive was perfect and we probably would return again in the future

Excellent staff, high tier food, amazing drinks, entree, desert- i came up here from ireland for my birthday and we were amazed by the incredible service and quality (and price!) of the food. Our server Jason was polite, efficient, helpful and courteous. All the staff were amazing. The service was quite quick aswell. Definitely coming back here! (bonus: Free hygiene products and deoderant in the female bathrooms? Is this a hotel? Absolutely class steakhouse)

Went for a reservation at seven pm I’m leaving now at 8:15 having waited 35 mins for a drink and 45 for a starter staff seemed unapologetic. Customers around us arrived later and were served quicker it seems if you aren’t from Belfast they don’t look favourably on you. We finally got the starters which where excellent however gave up waiting for our much anticipated mains

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant recently. The service was rushed, and the staff made me feel uneasy. To top it off, the couple sitting at the table next to me was asked to leave before they even finished their drinks and the astonishing thing was that no one was seated at the table for about 15 minutes after they had left and there were lots of other tables empty by that time in the restaurant. Although the food was tasty, it was clear that the staff needed to be retrained on manners and how to treat customers. I was left with the impression that the restaurant cared more about turning tables than providing a pleasant dining experience. On top of all this, a member of staff even called me to reschedule my reservation half an hour earlier because they wanted to finish up early during my last visit in October. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this restaurant again.

If you like steak I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here for my sons birthday, staff are so friendly & helpful (got a bit of craic about them) decent choice of drinks on offer, we opted for some light bites then we all had fillet steaks, these were cooked to perfection (medium/rare) the side dishes we had were also good and plentiful, we didn’t have dessert as we were full up, but they did look delicious, thanks to all staff at top blade for another awesome meal, we will be back again soon.

10/10 steak, my mum & I had an amazing meal here; all staff were so friendly and attentive. I had read reviews on here about people feeling rushed however we had the opposite, no member of staff hurried us along and allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal for as long as needed. Had a meal here tonight and I can honestly say this is one of the best steak meals I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked, amazing sides and service was not notch, Emma our waitress provided us with a friendly, well informed serviced from the start and made our visit even better due to her professional and welcoming persona.

I wouldn’t go back to this place even if the food was free. We were 5 minutes late and we apologised profusely, shouldn’t have bothered as the table wasn’t ready anyway. We were told to wait outside during which the front of house (the bald guy with bright shirt) was incredibly rude to one person in the party. He continued being rude asking “who invited you out,” to the point another party member asked if he owned the restaurant. This was lost on him and had to be explained that you can be as rude as you like, if you own the place. 3 times he repeated his nasty remark despite the fact he should have been apologetic our table wasn’t ready & nowhere near ready. When we eventually got our table 30 mins after it was booked, we were pressured into ordering. This wasn’t attentive, this was constant badgering to order. We had sat down and ordered a bottle of wine which came within a minute when we were asked what we wanted. 1 minute isn’t long enough to peruse the menu. We did order and what appears to be decent prices is soon out the window as you have to order all the sides which are very expensive. Your mains quickly ramps up over £40 per person. My steak was cooked fine, 2 were not, but nobody bothered to send them back as it was so busy. Sides were also very small for the price. Menu was thrown at us again for desserts and getting pressured again, to the point we decided not to bother. Food thrown at you and pressured into wolfing it down so they can get more people in. I refused to leave a tip as service was poor, steak was just okay for an exorbitant price and we were at the table for just under 50 mins! What’s more when you speak to others you learn their front of house leaks his dreadful personality out in front of customers to belittle his wait staff & makes disparaging comments about certain communities at the expense of his staff. Honestly don’t know how it’s still in business when some staff are rude to customers; and they try to pack so many people in, wait staff have no option but to bully you at the table to order, eat & leave.

Sat down & drinks order taken as we perused the menu. We settled for the mushrooms & Halloumi fries to start which quickly arrived at the table even before the drinks!!!!!!Nevertheless they were tasty. A fillet steak & a Wagyu fillet steak arrived, again quickly, cooked as requested & accompanied by side orders of garlic cubes, chips onion rings, mushrooms & pepper sauce. The steaks were superb, overall, the meal was delicious. Desserts were nice. Staff were friendly & helpful. The meal was expensive as side orders were not included as they are at other restaurants. I felt the experience was a bit rushed, as for example food arriving before the drinks & a well done steak speedily served. Could do with turning the heat up as the restaurant was chilly. Went for a mother's day meal with my family in law and kids. Firstly table was booked for 3pm arrived and waited 25minutes for our table then 15mins to order a drink and half hour for food order they never gave us kids menus when we had 3 kids with us. At this point it was 4pm and where told on booking table was needed again at 430!!I requested kids main meals to come with our starters to which they said yes no problem, this didn't happen! Then when our mains started to arrive not everything arrived and had to repeatedly ask for the rest to come and then when it all arrived sides and sauces still hadn't arrived and our steaks where all freezing!! I spoke to a staff member and requested to speak to manager who then retook our order and said it would be sorted we then waited another 25minutes and still nothing had arrived 😑 at this point I had already given my insulin for food order (I'm a type 1 diabetic) and I began to drop rapidly and had no way of stopping the decline (medical emergency) during this period we had already witnessed 3 tables returning food to the kitchen with issues! The chef from kitchen came to our table and I asked where was our replacement food and he said nobody had told him too recook it. At this stage we had had enough and headed to the till to which they where going to charge us £345! Waitresses attuide was pathetic to say the least!!Never again will we set foot through the door!

Now I'm not a 'foody' but I like my grub. The food in here tonight was fantastic. Probably as good as, if not better than, whatever was top before. We're going back this Thursday!

Omg steaks to die for.spotlessly clean. Food is so filling always order so much. Staff are all lovely and can't do enough for you. Even given a bottle of prosecco at Christmas.

Quite a good spot if you can get your meal down you as fast as you can. Whilst the food, ambience and location is great, the dining experience is about relaxing, taking your time to enjoy the food that is prepared for your and enjoying the company of friends, family or colleagues. Not a great night as it was against the clock. table turnaround should be a less obvious business goal. Heartburn all night as it is a shame to wasted good food. It was great food, though pricey.

Underwhelming food - took exactly 36 mins for us to order , receive our food eat it and leave ! Even with just mains this is faster than a fast food restaurant. Ordered the top blade steak well done - which came several minutes before the sides - then daughters burger followed a minute or two after all that. Sweet potato fries and chips were 100% frozen chips - very little taste to the steak or sauce. Waitress staff were friendly and really are saving the place - and decor is nice but the place was empty at 6pm on a Sunday evening - says it all.

Our kids had bought us a voucher for Christmas. We hadn't been before but would definitely recommend here for a special night out. We had a burger and sirloin steak with a lovely bottle of red wine. The food was really tasty and the service was friendly and professional. We were very embarrassed to accidentally knock over a glass of wine near the end of our meal but the waiter brought us a new full glass straight away and cleared up the mess without any fuss - thanks to the waiter in the white Boss t-shirt (sorry we didn't get your name!). A really enjoyable evening and we will be back.

Came here tonight with a couple of work colleagues as a walk in. Staff were really great and very accommodating. We all had sirloins and they were superb. Staff even happy to give us a final round of beers after we had asked for bill. A great evening and would highly recommend!! Will definitely be back with the wife I’m sure!!

We went to the Portadown branch real nice decor well designed start wasn’t good asked for a t bone but was told no t bone in a steak house no t bone so got the sirloin come out was ok nothing special not worth the money staff wasn’t the brightest but that’s young ones now a days there is better steak houses out there better value and better steaks

A lovely meal, greeted & seated with a complimentary glass of pressecco, beautiful garlic mushrooms to keep us going while the mains were cooking. My wife had the 10oz rump & I had the 16oz T-bone, both cooked exactly as ordered, my only quandary was that the rump actually looked better than the T-bone. Sides of mushrooms, onion rings & fries all tasty, all in all really good. At £80+ definitely a special occasion venue, but definitely worth a visit if you enjoy a steak

Just had the most enjoyable evening. Although we arrived 20 minutes before booked time, the manager bent over backwards to accommodate us in an almost full restaurant. The food was amazing, the juiciest steaks we have had this side of the Atlantic Ocean. Staff friendly and attentive and checked on us more than once, this was our first time here and start of many for us.

Fantastic steaks, took a fair amount of time to ask for drinks whilst checking menu, quick service after that. Great quality steaks, but side and sauce pricing a little on the high side for portion size. Also serve alcohol free beer which is a plus. Option to book table online is great. Little bit cramped when seated as a 2 person.

We came here on Thursday evening for my birthday, it was my first time here and I'll definitely be going back. We had our light bites within 15 minutes and our mains in under half an hour of arriving, both were piping hot and delicious. I ordered the chorizo rollitos and halloumi fries, the only problem was there wasn't enough of them! For our mains I ordered The Hot One burger with chunky chips and peppercorn sauce, and had a lovely non-alcoholic cocktail along with it. He had a filet steak with sweet potato fries and mushroom sauce. I'm not much of a meat eater but I tried my partner's steak and it was beautiful, so next time I know what I'll be going for. It’s alright. That’s about it. I’d go for the flank steak next time if ever returning, it looked the best from what I seen. The T-bone is way too thin. Chips aren’t great either. House sauce is basically south west sauce which was a major letdown. (*Go for peppered sauce*). For a specialty steak house I was disappointed to be honest. 🤷🏻

We had the best night dining at top blade! The team gave us outstanding service, the food was epic and the cocktails were out of this world! Matthew & Robert we’re so attentive and we had a real laugh with them throughout our whole visit! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal out in Belfast.

Great food and service all around, would highly recommend! The 12oz fillet is superb and goes well with the tobacco onions and skin on fries. The peppercorn sauce is also rich and flavourful.

As a vegetarian I was very sceptical of this place but their seitan vegetarian steak was amazing! I had a great experience here and their food are definitely worth the prices they charge. My only issue was that it felt very cramped and crowded however the interior is beautiful and immaculately clean! I’ll definitely be back!
