Had dinner at Top Blade Belfast this evening for my son’s 12th Birthday. 7 of us in total, 4 adults, a 12 year old and 1 year old twins. The staff were so helpful with my twins allergies and very friendly towards all of us, especially the kids - even sang happy birthday with dessert! Food was great, steak cooked perfectly and great value for money. We will definitely be back, thank you

Great staff. Just go with their recommendations. It was awesome. Relaxed atmosphere. 10oz rump was 10/10 Side dishes were great too. Mushrooms 🤌

TOP BLADE ST ANNS SQUARE BELFAST where do I even start went out for dinner had a lovely meal staff seemed fine at this point we paid left the restaurant 6 minutes later I realised I had forgotten my bag so we rang the restaurant to tell them and the manager gavin had said no bag was there we asked can you check the cameras he had said they don’t have cameras I wasn’t taking his word so I went back because I knew I left it there went back asked who cleaned our table he told me he did himself i asked had anyone else been at the booth from we left he told me no I said so obvs u seen the bag he told me no then I asked had any other staff members seen it told me no again he was so unhelpful for a “manager”so went outside rang the police, then went back inside to see there was a camera right above from where we sat,asked him about the camera told me it didn’t work because of the Wi-Fi, so lied about having no cameras then story’s chnaged ,went back outside my baby started to cry he came out and gave me his number told me sometime “junkies” come through the back and steal on his staff try to make me believe that someone had came in between them 6 minutes and stole my bag then had told me to take a lap down an alley and look in a bin told me that’s where “junkies” stash the stuff that apparently steal on his staff I didn’t move from outside for him to call people with addictions junkies discuss me and for him to be so professional and trying to get me away from the premises sounds to suspicious to me, 2 other girl staff members wernt so helpful acting like they hadn’t a clue few minutes went by and Michael went to the car to try park closer for me because my baby needed fed and was crying during all of this then one of the girl staff members came out with my bag and asked if it was mine I asked where she had found it she told me in the girls bathrooms in a bin which was weird because I never used the bathrooms once in the place she told me she was in cleaning it and looked in the bin don’t know why she was cleaning it and in a bin she’s a waitress not a cleaner and the manager told me no one was near the booth while we had left because he was cleaning it so would love to know how it got in the bathrooms in a bin ?? it was about a hour before they gave me my bag back I had left with my bag and went home counted my money correctly and there was £580 missing out of my purse worst about it it’s my baby’s money he got kindly gifted from his christening absolute discrase thieving on a young mummy have to be ashamed of themselves!! After all the comments ,,MAY I ADD TO THIS POST THERE WAS A LARGE SUM OF MONEY LEFT IN THE PURSE WHEN I GOT IT BACK !! If a member of the public were to steal it do you not think they would have took it all ???? Police also aren’t any help , so posting on this to make people aware what this restaurant is like! 

We were sat on a very small table having ,” lite bites” because they’re not called starters , only started and the waiter brought our steaks , I asked to take them back because we were still eating, he did so but returned 5 minutes later and said the kitchen ordered him to bring them to our table !! It’s impossible to relax over a bottle of wine and a meal because the staff are in a hurry to get rid of you , no point speaking to the manager because he is very abrupt and rude ..we had only just sat down at 16.40 and were immediately told the table had to be free by 18.00 only we had a voucher we’d have left definitely not the same topblade we used to dine in

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. While the steak was satisfactory, I’ve honestly had better steaks at chain restaurants in the US. The side dishes, however, were exceptional, with the macaroni and cheese and tobacco onions standing out as particularly delightful. The service was excellent, with a very attentive and courteous waiter, and the mixed drinks were expertly prepared and enjoyable. The atmosphere was agreeable, though the restaurant’s compact size made the seating arrangement feel a bit close, requiring some care to avoid bumping into neighboring diners. Bathrooms were very dirty, for what it’s worth.

The starters and steaks are great. I'd recommend getting the starter platter and fillet steak.

What can I say… an outstanding steak cooked to perfection. We had mushroom and peppercorn sauce, side of mushrooms, green beans with bacon, skin on fries and garlic chips. Then crunchie cheesecake to finish it off. All perfect…what a meal. A top restaurant and a must if you like your steak. Good value for money and service was good 👍🏻 one of our favourite restaurants.

This has been on our go-to for a very long time,loads of people had been recommending it to us,so with a birthday to celebrate what better time to book a table and get down to try out one of their popular steaks, after being advised by our very knowledgeable and attentive server we opted for the 3 course deal.. Starter/Steak/Dessert..plus onion rings and chunky chips with gravy and peppercorn sauce, Garlic mushrooms were the starter, lovely, fresh and tasty,when it came to the steaks I got it medium and my dining partner was worried they wouldn't cook it well done to her liking but that wasn't a problem and when they came out, absolutely perfect in our opinion,just beautifully cooked for both of us,my partner had the chocolate brownie dessert and I had the biscoff..not pictured..to be fair all the food was amazing,the minus one star was because there just wasn't enough of it,the steaks were small,you knew after a few drinks later on you were getting something to eat before you went home,but Top Blade for a night out if you really want to go is definitely worth it for a beautiful steak of all cuts,highly recommended.

Top class food. If you’re looking for a good steak this is your spot. Even all the sides were delicious, couldn’t get enough of the creamed spinach in particular. Will be back!

Excellent food and very friendly staff.

Was expecting quality and instead got a run down restaurant with broken dirty/disguting toilets and a chef who obviously loves his butter/grease - every single side and starter was swimming and dripping with grease. The deep fried mushrooms were so dark it was clear that the oil hasnt been changed in a long time. The 'wagyu' fillet was questionable as to its authenticity, but will give benefit of doubt that it was maybe poor/cheap quality wagyu and not just an overpriced steak fillet bathed in butter. Very disappointing visit and would recommend avoiding. Extra bonus - cocktails are probably the worst you could find in Belfast.

Service second to none accommodated everything we asked even getting the table early… front of house and our specific waiter were both top class ! Food out of this world .. we got the platter and it was melt in your mouth. Place was packed but I do feel a bit more could have been done with the ambiance but all round brilliant meal and highly recommended

Dont go to top blade if you’d like any personal information kept between you n your waiter, she decided at the first chance to tell any information she could to a third party, plotted with another witness to ask my partner invasive questions that was shared with a third party within minutes, left my partner in tears n she could not finished her meal, will not be back due to staff.

I recommend it with one minus! Delicious food, dishes served at a devastatingly fast pace, a steak like I've never eaten before. I have never had a medium raw steak cooked so well. Delicious dessert, cheesecake with cookie icing. the downside is that we were served by two waiters. From one, I ordered a 3-course offer at a promotional price, which included a starter, main course and dessert. the first waiter took the order for the appetizer and main course and informed us that he would come for dessert later. The second waitress asked about dessert. Unfortunately my bill included a set and dessert, which was £8 more. It's my mistake that I didn't notice, but you have to be careful if there are several waiters serving at one table.

Extortionate for what it is. £105 for two mains and a drink each. Asked what way you'd like your steak then it comes the opposite. Waited 40 minutes on food, tiny tables and service wasn't great apart from one member of staff. Wouldn't recommend.

Awful experience! Couldn’t even get in the front door before being shooed out, restaurant was empty and we were told there was yet no space but it was available to book online. Overall horrible attitude from the man at the front especially for a lovely steakhouse.

Sent steak back as it was cold. Steak was 50% fat. Awful. Advertise themselves as a steak house. Served on a platter that had residue on the inside. Starter plates not cleared before mains were served. Definitely not value for money. Avoid.

We came as 6 couples while on a weekend away in Belfast. The food was really good and everyone in the group really liked it here. Different people in the group went for different things, I personally went for the set menu which was a starter, main & side and pudding for just over £30. I felt this was good value for money and if ever visiting Belfast again I will come back.

We called here for food on a Monday night and were looked after by the lovely Mairead. She was excellent, very friendly and helpful, giving us advice about the menu. We both selected the 3 course special menu for £30 which was super value. We shared cheesy garlic bread and garlic mushrooms to start, which were delicious. For mains, my husband upgraded his steak for £4 to the 10oz rump, while I stuck with the 8oz flat iron. Both steaks were excellent and we had sides of fries and tobacco onions, with peppercorn sauce. For dessert we had salted caramel brownie and sticky toffee pudding, both served with ice-cream, again these were delicious. I also can't forget about the fab cocktails which were on offer 2 for £16. A cosmopolitan and pumpkin espresso martini both hit the spot! We would totally recommend trying this restaurant, especially this 3 course meal offer.

As it was our 2nd wedding anniversary I asked for a note to br left on desert plate . (Never came) paid £14 extra for tbone which was over cooked and my worh flat iron was much bigger (under cooked) so we had to swoop . From start to finish things went wrong. I contacted topblade after a number of times (no reply). Yes we won't be back £109 and ate as soon as we got home . Not happy at all !

I had dinner here on Friday evening with my mature family. Not only were the steaks perfect but the onion rings were the best. From the moment we arrived our server treated our party like VIPs. She was very professional and bursting with personality. She totally upgraded our evening. I cannot thank you enough. Delicious meal and outstanding service!

Dined here lastnight, works night out, had heard them going on about how great the steak was..well i was not dissapointed,..it was by far the best steak i have ever had..service was superb too...would highy recommend a visit..i will definatly be back

Wow!! This restaurant knows what they are doing with steak!! Stunning food!! Amazing customer service and all within walking distance of entertainment! Will definitely be back!! Thee best French martini I have ever had along with the fillet I HAVE NO WORDS FOR!! WOW!! Cannot fault here one single bit and I am very fussy! Thank you to Jean ciara she made our night that little bit more amazing if that was even possible!! Great team work guys we will definitely be telling everyone who will listen lol wow!!!

Hands down the best steak I have ever had! Juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. The signature gravy was so good with it too, as was melting the chipotle and smoked paprika butter over the top of the meat was so flavourful. Sides were top notch as well, and a little dessert to top it all off. By the end of it we couldn't eat another bite. 10/10

Slow service, waited about 30mins on the starter - the garlic bread was burnt - the mushrooms were cold. We both had the burger - the bun was burnt as was the patty, the full burger was dry and difficult to eat. The tobacco onions were over cooked, the sweet potatoes were tasty… the garlic cubes way under cooked - so disappointed! The sauces … a very small amount for £3 a pop! Don’t bother! The gravy was lovely but the pepper sauce was tasteless and watery. The loo was dirty with cheap Lidl products to ‘enhance’ the experience … for a fairly expensive restaurant… really?! Please do better! Total bill was almost £80 - save your dosh and hit up a Burger King! Such a shame

I did not enjoy my experience at this restaurant. The staff were inattentive, I counted 6 of them chatting amongst themselves behind the bar. The food was ok but overpriced. Our wine although served in a cooler with ice wasn't properly chilled beforehand. We had to send our side dish of mushrooms back as they were cold. You get a better 3 course steak dinner at Belfast Castle for half the price. I would not recommend nor would I return.

Superb experience lovely staff and fantastic food

This is easily one of my favourite restaurants in Belfast. The food is chef kiss! I’ve been to quite a number of restaurants in Belfast but no steak comes close to the one I’ve had here! Service is great and although it can get really cramped, I have been here twice and I would easily visit again!

Complete gimmick for drug dealers and of girls to pretend they are rich. Nowhere near high class, food is average way to crowded way to loud

Do not eat from this restaurant! They charge an absolute fortune for food you could get cooked at a neighbourhood barbecue. Service was shocking and didn’t feel very welcome. Would not recommend to anybody that thought of coming here.

Impromptu date night. Wouldn't normally choose a "steak house" as such, but really enjoyed our visit. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is for two reasons. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection. The sides were average, but the steak was just so great! Secondly, our server, Jean Kira, was so lovely. She really made our night to be honest. She was attentive, yet not overly so. Always there in the background if we needed something. But never too much and distracting. I think I'll return, and will look forward to it!

Gone down so much, service wasn't great but that was less down to the servers and more down to the fact they only had three of them on, poor things. Sides are so expensive, and honestly not even worth a quarter of what they cost. Everything felt frozen, over or under cooked, underseasoned, gross. For £5 whole per side? Also charging for the sauce and sides when just a steak alone is £25? Go to Darcy's or something and get yourself a full meal for under that price. Thankfully steaks were well cooked and nice, but again not worth the price. They also serve it to you on a tiny cutting board so it's difficult to eat. Place was SO LOUD, they turned the music up uncomfortably loud for a birthday song (naff in itself, dont punish all of us lol) and it didn't really go back down again. Felt like it was going for a club vibe, but it was giving dead Wetherspoons on a sunday. Overall would never go back, shame as it was a nice place to go a year or two ago. And hire more staff dear lord.

Birthday party failure. I organised a small gathering for a 21st birthday and our experience wasn’t up to the standard that I would’ve expected from Top Blade. The waiting staff were friendly but not attentive. The starters were wrong, that’s fine, they were replaced. When we were mid way through starters, the steak arrived and we were told that it was ‘just the way it was’.. The waitress did apologise for bringing the mains while we were mid starter but, we were sat with a table full of food that was going cold. We did feel rushed to get out. It set the tone for the whole party… super disappointing.. The T bone steak was not good. I’ve never had a chewy steak like it. It was not rested. My steak knife would not cut through it, even after several tries. Overall, It was not a good experience for our party, I was embarrassed as the organiser so I paid the bill and left early as everyone felt uncomfortable. The Cocktails were good, We had 2 each. The overall experience was not.. I’m not a negative reviewer however on this occasion and because it was my son’s 21st birthday party, I felt it is justified. Please do better….

We came here for my husbands birthday just the 4 off us in 14/08/24 my son is 16 with autism and learning disabilities and I have to say there was 2 girls serving us a blonde hair one and a brown, they where great with him had a bit of banter and where super friendly, this has been the best restaurant we have been in ages that he has enjoyed and sat the whole time, food was also amazing but for me the staff where 5 🌟

I recently visited Top Blade for a special celebration—my twin boys' 16th birthday—and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we had hoped for. Despite booking well in advance, we were seated right at the front door, in what felt like a waiting area hastily furnished with tables. This section was completely isolated from the main restaurant, which really dampened the atmosphere. Upon expressing our dissatisfaction, the manager dismissed our concerns, insisting that this was our designated seating. We weren't the only ones unhappy—two other couples seated in the same area also voiced their displeasure, but nothing was done to address the situation. The service was disappointing as well. We ordered a sharing platter for starters, but it arrived without plates to share the food. After asking twice, we finally received plates, but by then, the food was half-eaten, and the plates were wet. It felt like the area we were in was neglected, with no dedicated waiter attending to us. To add to our frustration, when our main courses were served, we had to ask for basic items like salt and condiments. While the food was generally fine, the overall experience was disappointing, and it became increasingly clear that our seating arrangement was a significant issue. We had called ahead to inform the restaurant that this was a special occasion, and were assured that something special would be arranged for dessert. However, due to the poor service and atmosphere, we opted not to order dessert at all. When it came time to pay, I reiterated our concerns to the manager, who then admitted that the area we were seated in was formerly used as the waiting area. He acknowledged that this seating arrangement had been a recurring problem and that it had been brought to the attention of the owners multiple times without any action being taken. We emailed the restaurant a couple of times after the visit to express our disappointment further, but unfortunately, we have yet to receive a reply. This lack of response only adds to our frustration and disappointment. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the issues at hand. I would not want anyone else to experience what we did, especially on such an important occasion.

Definitely more 3.5 than 3, we had a mixture of burgers and steaks, the beef burger was good but could have been maybe a bit pink in the middle, the steak was well cooked and tender but it didn't have any flavour. The service was great though the crew were super friendly and couldn't do enough

Hunted all had on menu in a sea of soy sauce all splashed down his shirt, n my dress in fine bed of fine never find a hair noodles he see i was hungry giv me a prawn on my birthday wine 25 + 2.10 lemonade wen had eniugh of the 4 bottles had from Aldi less than 20quid, he must hav been tip sey to let keep change of fiver worst so called meal foe 60 s quid awful looked good.......on menu only. He did get up n do us egg on toast at 2am only cos he was hungry ....a reall big.....let down

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with allergies. My wife has coeliac disease which the menu says she is aloud certain items but weren’t convinced by waiter telling us “it should hopefully be ok”. The service wasn’t great at all as the waiter we had never checked how meal was, glasses sat empty without asking for anymore drinks and no one wanted to give us a bill or even take the money for it. Sadly not a great experience compared to other restaurants in close proximity

Steaks are highly overpriced... everything has to be paid extra, such as fries, veges or even sauce for +3-5 euro each. We decided to order 4 burgers, but we've been told that there are only 3 left even tough the restaurant is open for few more hours which was unprofessional, especially after we ordered drinks already.

Beautiful cuts of meat, nice relaxed atmosphere and great service

Visited Belfast in June and came here for dinner one night. Was not able to get a table the night before but for the 2nd time came earlier to get a booking then came back at the appointed time. Nice atmosphere here and the staff were friendly. The steaks were very well cooked. Only issue was the signature gravy was too salty. Also first time had the Forged Stout. It's as good as Guinness.

Recent family meal - Party of 8. Waited a couple of minutes for our table (booked). Service was excellent. All meals arrived at the same time & were delicious. We all ate from the 3 for £30 menu...steaks were wonderful! Highly recommended.

Had the privilege of being asked to dine here, and not disappointed. From starters to dessert it was a fantastic meal. The steaks of which were fillets, from 8oz to 12oz, were perfectly cooked. Tender and a delight to experience. Staff really go the extra mile, as everything was top notch.

Wednesday 10th July reservation at 7.30pm ordered our drinks and food. By 8.15pm we still hadn’t had our food. We had finished our drinks, other people who came in after us had their starters and mains. There were staff members working, but the guys behind the bar were watching the euros on someone’s phone and that was more important apparently. 50 minutes went by and my partner asked if we could just pay for the drinks and leave. The guys were confused and didn’t even know what table we were at. The manager in the red top went into the kitchen to see where our food was and they told us our food never was put into the kitchen. We asked what had happened to our order, and the manager said “we have a new staff member and she didn’t put it in”. A male took our order and they tried to blame it on the young girl who was the only person working! She took our drink order and was the friendliest person there. I’m very disappointed that they couldn’t own up to their mistake and blame a new staff member. When the manager said it was the new staff member, I told him that it wasn’t her who took the order, it was the man who was standing right behind him watching the football. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them time because they might have been busy but they were only busy watching the euros. They did apologise and give us a bottle of Mionetto Prosecco but we were more looking forward to our steak. Unfortunately we will not be back, we’re very disappointed that they would pass the blame on to someone else who is only new. It doesn’t lead by example. The young girl was very good at her job and was fast and efficient.

Youngsters served the worst food I’ve ever been presented with. Grease laden inedible portions of food. Particular attention deserved by mushrooms and chunky chips. Steak medium rare was still writhing on the board. Truly awful £30 for 2 scoops of ice cream.

Very poor experience. Food took very long My husband lifted the drinks menu and accidentally spilled my coca cola (no alcohol) we were both totally sober And we were made feel like drunk messes, a wet floor sign beside us and made feel like rubbish. Birthday meal ruined Couldn't get out of restaurant fast enough. My husbands steak not cooked rare as he asked for it Waste of money Will never return.

When dining in what's ment to be a higher end restaurant standards were below average. Mushrooms were ordered never came with the meal. Asked for glass of water towards the end of the meal as heat in the restaurant was uncomfortable to say the least. Also not once did anyone come during our meal to see if everything was okay. To be fair to the chef food was lovely but front of house let this place down badly

Was anxious having read the negative reviews about the time limit pressure but had nothing to worry about. Staff were very attentive, food and drinks delicious and gave shots for wife's birthday and sang happy birthday with her dessert. Highly recommend Top Blade Belfast

Went here for my 30th birthday. have had it planned for months. I knew exactly what I was ordering 6 months before going and I tell you what, it absolutely over-delivered!! Steak was cooked to perfection and so full of flavour, the sides were top notch!! And the dessert was absolutely devine! Have to give a massive shout out to our server for the evening JeanKira! The most lovely person, she made us feel welcome and we really enjoyed her vibe! She even wished me a happy birthday which is always nice! 11/10 on food, atmosphere and staff! Can't wait to come back here

Went for a dinner for my partners birthday this week, and it was just a really poor experience. Although the staff were kind, they were quite inattentive. The food came 45 minutes after we had ordered, and it was truly terrible - I really dislike commenting on others cooking, but how do you forget to add cheese to mac and cheese, it was just a white sauce with no flavour other than flour. The mains were just hastily thrown together and the sides were also small and genuinely just bad, the chips looked like the dregs from the fryer. Presentation was really poor too, for the prices you are paying to food is absolutely not worth it. The cocktail was lovely though!

First time ever at Top Blade tonight, I do really enjoy that the size of the place is small enough to make it a more intimate setting The starters we had were the garlic mushrooms.. they were amazing, the flavours and the texture as well! The mains we both had T-Bone Steaks (cooked blue of course) partner had the sweet potato fries and I had the garlic cubes, sauces were peppercorn sauce and the burnt garlic sauce.. this was one of the NICEST steaks I have ever tasted, cooked to perfection, sides were delicious as well! We will definitely be back!

Without exception the most unpleasant dining/customer service experience I’ve ever had. Extremely rude and aggressive front of house manager. Food was mediocre with terrible and weird club music playing loudly in background. Dire. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

Went to the Belfast one and the Food was amazing everything was cooked to perfection and the service was amazing they went the extra mile.

We've been 3 times now and have never been disappointed, this is the best steak house in Belfast, the meat just melts in your mouth, I can't wait to come back.

Great food, friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere, just very expensive.

The steaks we received was perfect however there was no Asahi beer available on draught due to waiting to receive it from the supplier and there was no wagyu sirloin steaks available either. Just think for the money your paying everything should be available to order from the menu but the food we did receive was perfect and we probably would return again in the future

Excellent staff, high tier food, amazing drinks, entree, desert- i came up here from ireland for my birthday and we were amazed by the incredible service and quality (and price!) of the food. Our server Jason was polite, efficient, helpful and courteous. All the staff were amazing. The service was quite quick aswell. Definitely coming back here! (bonus: Free hygiene products and deoderant in the female bathrooms? Is this a hotel? Absolutely class steakhouse)

Went for a reservation at seven pm I’m leaving now at 8:15 having waited 35 mins for a drink and 45 for a starter staff seemed unapologetic. Customers around us arrived later and were served quicker it seems if you aren’t from Belfast they don’t look favourably on you. We finally got the starters which where excellent however gave up waiting for our much anticipated mains

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant recently. The service was rushed, and the staff made me feel uneasy. To top it off, the couple sitting at the table next to me was asked to leave before they even finished their drinks and the astonishing thing was that no one was seated at the table for about 15 minutes after they had left and there were lots of other tables empty by that time in the restaurant. Although the food was tasty, it was clear that the staff needed to be retrained on manners and how to treat customers. I was left with the impression that the restaurant cared more about turning tables than providing a pleasant dining experience. On top of all this, a member of staff even called me to reschedule my reservation half an hour earlier because they wanted to finish up early during my last visit in October. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this restaurant again.

If you like steak I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here for my sons birthday, staff are so friendly & helpful (got a bit of craic about them) decent choice of drinks on offer, we opted for some light bites then we all had fillet steaks, these were cooked to perfection (medium/rare) the side dishes we had were also good and plentiful, we didn’t have dessert as we were full up, but they did look delicious, thanks to all staff at top blade for another awesome meal, we will be back again soon.

10/10 steak, my mum & I had an amazing meal here; all staff were so friendly and attentive. I had read reviews on here about people feeling rushed however we had the opposite, no member of staff hurried us along and allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal for as long as needed. We have been to various other steak houses in the city and this is by far the best one. Will return again! Thanks again, Emily Seddon

Had a meal here tonight and I can honestly say this is one of the best steak meals I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked, amazing sides and service was not notch, Emma our waitress provided us with a friendly, well informed serviced from the start and made our visit even better due to her professional and welcoming persona.

I wouldn’t go back to this place even if the food was free. We were 5 minutes late and we apologised profusely, shouldn’t have bothered as the table wasn’t ready anyway. We were told to wait outside during which the front of house (the bald guy with bright shirt) was incredibly rude to one person in the party. He continued being rude asking “who invited you out,” to the point another party member asked if he owned the restaurant. This was lost on him and had to be explained that you can be as rude as you like, if you own the place. 3 times he repeated his nasty remark despite the fact he should have been apologetic our table wasn’t ready & nowhere near ready. When we eventually got our table 30 mins after it was booked, we were pressured into ordering. This wasn’t attentive, this was constant badgering to order. We had sat down and ordered a bottle of wine which came within a minute when we were asked what we wanted. 1 minute isn’t long enough to peruse the menu. We did order and what appears to be decent prices is soon out the window as you have to order all the sides which are very expensive. Your mains quickly ramps up over £40 per person. My steak was cooked fine, 2 were not, but nobody bothered to send them back as it was so busy. Sides were also very small for the price. Menu was thrown at us again for desserts and getting pressured again, to the point we decided not to bother. Food thrown at you and pressured into wolfing it down so they can get more people in. I refused to leave a tip as service was poor, steak was just okay for an exorbitant price and we were at the table for just under 50 mins! What’s more when you speak to others you learn their front of house leaks his dreadful personality out in front of customers to belittle his wait staff & makes disparaging comments about certain communities at the expense of his staff. Honestly don’t know how it’s still in business when some staff are rude to customers; and they try to pack so many people in, wait staff have no option but to bully you at the table to order, eat & leave.

Sat down & drinks order taken as we perused the menu. We settled for the mushrooms & Halloumi fries to start which quickly arrived at the table even before the drinks!!!!!!Nevertheless they were tasty. A fillet steak & a Wagyu fillet steak arrived, again quickly, cooked as requested & accompanied by side orders of garlic cubes, chips onion rings, mushrooms & pepper sauce. The steaks were superb, overall, the meal was delicious. Desserts were nice. Staff were friendly & helpful. The meal was expensive as side orders were not included as they are at other restaurants. I felt the experience was a bit rushed, as for example food arriving before the drinks & a well done steak speedily served. Could do with turning the heat up as the restaurant was chilly. Saying that, I would certainly return but just for special occasions! Review of the Portadown restaurant.

First time at this restaurant,and it was amazing,great selections of steaks,or vegetarian.I had the seitan burger,it was amazing tasted like steak,nicest I have even had,great service,Thank you very much, PS great deserts aswell,cheesecake was beautiful.
