Jaggy Thistle Food Stop in Highland

We were lucky that they were still open for a very late lunch as we came from remote Loch Quoich. Hospitality was superb as well as the food. Ambiance is nice having tables alongside the shop shelves and the terrace on the porch looking over green

We stopped here on the way to Inverness for a light meal about 4pm. Nice food, nice service, and very nice people and dogs.

Great little food stop. Lovely staff, clean toilets and nice shop. I got a takeaway sandwich. It has a nice table area inside and also outside. I'd be happy to stop here again. The food was good.

Great food, great service! Stopped on our way to Inveraray from Fort Augustus for breakfast and had a spectacular experience! The owner was very friendly and engaging with conversation. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. We purchased a couple of items in the shop as well. Too bad we are moving on from the area or we would come back again tomorrow!

Dropped in for a breakie this morning and was taken away by how friendly the staff were. Breakfast was superb with great staff and food very reasonably priced as well, even got a free top up of tea thrown in!!! Excellent and highly recommend.

We went for breakfast which was all cooked fresh to order. Very quick service and friendly and tasty food. Just be aware that they have 2 dogs that are very friendly but roam freely. Overall well worth a visit.

Where do we start? All I can say is, if you pass without stopping, you are missing out. Food is absolutely gorgeous, piping hot and tasty. The owners both make you so welcome and can't do enough for you with a bit of banter thrown in. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we have eaten here and there is a little gift shop and plant sales also.

Very good food served especially the beef lasagne with cheesy sauce and garlic toast. Cosy environment with really good view outlooking the area. Lots of flowers and animal friendly. Humorous owner and nice vibe. Very good for a stop to Fort Augustus.

Stopped here on a bitterly, cold late November morning to find a most friendly and courteous, recently new, proprietor. Top, top full English breakfast with quality coffee! Thank you.

OMG the best and biggest breakfast in Scotland place was lovely people were lovely the food was brilliant and so much of it that I could hardly breathe after finishing off my plate and the price was amazing £9.99 for a full breakfast with sausage, egg, bacon, black pudding, haggis, tattie scone, hash brown, beans mushrooms and fried bread and you get 2 slice of toast and a pot of tea PURE DEAD BRILLIANT

A lovely homemade soup and toastie lunch served in a small lunchroom/gift shop filled with interesting things. The proprietor was so welcoming and entertaining, and the sweet border collies completed the experience. A perfect lunch stop between Fort William and Inverness!!
