I was recommended to try the takeaway. I wanted to try the lamb kebab but as people on other reviews state it's often not available. I ordered a chicken swarma. The bread was amazing as was the varied salad so a good start but that's all the good bits. The chicken was just bang average and was reheated on a tray on the hob..... Dry and tasteless and the portion size is small. I found one member of staff particularly rude as one person jumped the que and although my food had been wrapped and was ready to go he kept talking to another person eventually giving me it after the person left. Not a great experience and chicken was just average at best....

Super fresh and brilliant! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but you can order and eat upstairs. I would recommend the falafel! Will definitely re visit, there’s a reason there was a queue for food from the time we arrived to the time we left.

Great place, really nice staff, fresh food and very tasty. All the salad is in display. Meat cut to order and nans made while you wait. Quick and tasty lunch

Staying on business, 2 younger members of staff were helpful but the woman who appeared to be in charge was extremely rude and put a palm towards me while I was talking to her about what I wanted to order. Won't be back.

Stopped by the Costa at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital. The white hot chocolate was decent. The mozzarella and tomato panini was actually quite nice. Seating was comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit. Prices were on the expensive side, but that’s expected in a hospital setting. One downside: the woman who served me wasn’t very friendly, which took away from the experience a bit.

Called here for a drink after a walk with a friend visiting the area. My friend only wanted a glass of tap water and I ordered a cranberry juice. I was taken aback when the server said “That will be £4.00” and that she would bring the drinks out to the terrace for us. I started to wonder if there was a charge for tap water, but when the drinks arrived she confirmed quite abruptly that no, it was the cranberry juice that had cost £4.00. It arrived in a short tumbler, (not much bigger than a whiskey tumbler) with seven or so pieces of ice and was very definitely a cordial. It was so weak that the liquid only had the slightest pink hue. Felt absolutely ripped off - £4.00 for a small, very diluted cordial is an outrageous charge. Have previously called many times at this pub in the past, but will not return in future.
