Never will order from them again it disgusting a waste of £36.. the beef friend rices tasted funcky and the beef was chewy. The chips had been cooked again and the pancake roll I orderd came as mini spring rolls and beef curry was disgusting and chicken ball was dry n chewy

Worst take away around, obviously using old food again and when asked for extra sauce on a free order being told NO we don't earn enough money

The portions are tiny. The sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style was so sweet that I could not eat it. On top of this the food is so expensive at this takeaway for tiny portions. I won’t use this place again.

Got food poisoning. Food was cold and undercooked. Even rang them to let them know. No apology! They even told me I had no right to ring up and complain unless I had proof!

Myself (Vegetarian) and my Husband (Carnivore!) have had takeaways from Jade House several times over the past few months, the food has always been great and the service is really friendly.

We had a lovely takeaway for 4 people. I ordered a mixture of dishes,meat and veggie options. All the food was tasty and well presented,i would highly recommend this great Chinese takeaway.

Probably the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever experienced. The lemon chicken was like soggy cardboard and the whole meal lacked flavour. Just crap!

This was so bland that I had to add salt to give it just a hint of flavour. Less exciting than sliced bread.

Ordered from here as we were staying at a local hotel and there wasnt alot to eat. What we had was tasty and fresh, we are not local so im unsure how this place is as a regular takeaway but we enjoyed it! We had veggie spring rolls, prawn chow mein, sweet and sour prawn hong kong style, egg fried rice and satay sauce. Huge prawns! Gorgeous food, fresh, not oily, tasty and reasonably priced! Service was OK! Thanks!

Been here a few times now. Always had a good takeaway. Chicken and sweet corn soup is best I’ve had. Good size meals at reasonable price

Thought we would give this takeaway another chance because we've enjoyed decent Chinese food here in the past. Sadly, the standards have plummeted and my idea of giving this another chance was mistaken. Was awful again. Oh dear. I hope they employ a decent chef again very soon otherwise I won't be choosing to buy a takeaway from here again. Very disappointing. Sorry guys!

Try this place, very very nice, I travel from stansted mounfitchet for our Friday night takeaway, beats all the other restaurants around here 100%, they also cook / change /add extras to your food to how you like with no fuss, always greet you with a smile and a conversation

This is my local Chinese takeaway. Every now and again I treat myself to a takeaway to have with family or friends. Chinese is always a winner, and with this takeaway I always feel like it's a win. The portions are great value for money, almost double the size for the same reasonable price as most other Chinese takeaways, the quality of the food is really good. I'd always recommend if you're getting rice dishes, order just the one between two people, you get a lot!If you enjoy a Chinese takeaway that is value for money, with good quality food, then this is somewhere for you. The only downside is they don't deliver, it is collection only, but if you live locally, then it's not any real hassle to pop down the road to collect. The staff are always friendly, and greet you with a smile, and polite manner.I can't say I have ever had a bad experience here. I'll keep coming back.

Just had a takeaway from here and felt compelled to write a review straight away as most of it has been scraped into the bin. Tasteless, awful food. It was also 20% more expensive than our usual Chinese takeaway. I feel totally robbed. I've just thrown the menu they gave me straight in the recycling as I will never go here again and recommend anyone else considering this place gives it a miss too.

Always get a great meal from this takeaway place. As it was a bank holiday we ordered over the phone in advance as they get very busy. Food is always packed well and is always piping hot. Would recommend this place for a good Chinese takeaway.

I've been a costumer here for long time and I be never been dissapointed people here work very hard for best quality to give to their costumers ,Always fresh always hot always smells like real made not frozen with all chemicals in it ,All the best for you guys Justina

Great food - served quickly - baking hot and really really tasty. The egg fried rice is excellent as well as the large pancake roles. They even turned round an order in 20 mins for six on a Saturday night - which was excellent

Realmente para llevar bien. Compramos cuatro platos, un arroz, chow mein, plato de gambas y pelotas de king de pollo. Un montón de comida para dos de nosotros y algunos mucho más. Las bolas de pollo, donde al menos diez y enorme! Toda la carne en vez de sólo un poquito en el medio con un montón de pasta que te dan en algunos lugares! Precioso

I ordered from this takeaway after few years, used to be a good food, but very disappointed this time. Very bland food, flavourless, overpriced, hardly any meat in special chow main dish, the same applies for chicken curry, won't be visiting any time soon.

I try to order a takeaway today by phone, but is no one answered the phone, I try to call again after 10 minutes ,that still not work,then I decided to pop to the shop to order,when I waited for my food,I have a chat with the staff,they said the phone lines are faulty,but they have a second phone line with different numbers,so next time when that's no one answer the phone,try the second phone numbers that's 01279303362,I had my food after 15 minutes waited,is quick!but the food is hot and tasty!

La comida era ordenados en 18. 15 y listo 15 minutos más tarde. Estaba recién preparado y muy sabroso. El precio era razonable y teníamos Coca Cola y pan de gambas que proporciona. Otra gran mi proveedor local.

La comida era la orden a las 19:00 en Sábado por la noche y estaba listo se extienden 30 minutos después. Hacía calor sabroso y bien cocido. Me encantan las opciones en el menú.

For a saturday evening a 20minute wait for food is good! The food was lovely and hot. The only criticism is that the girl working out front needs to have a bit more customer service. A smile and some passion for work wouldnt go a miss. But definitely would go back for the food!!

My Chinese take-away of preference in Bishop's Stortford. Decent quality and good sized portions. Only downside is they don't take credit cards, so cash is the order of the day.

I just have a takeaway last week,what I can say is delicious,I have try the sweet &sour chicken and the crispy beef,is not like other takeaway taste like lot a sugary the strong vinegar taste,the sweet&sour taste so fruity,and the size of crispy beef is huge,is just a plain beef no veg,not like other takeaway put lot a carrot just a tiny beef,I will definitely have another try again.

I bought a take away from here two weeks ago. It comprised 5-6 standard dishes from Chinese take away menus. I must say to call it food would be an elaboration. Every dish was poor quality and overloaded with MSG. The quantity of food was fine but wants loads of lousy food. Between three of us we hardly ate any of it and most of went in the rubbish bin. I spent about £25 in there and probably £23s worth was thrown out.I will never go near the place again.
