Jack's Place Takeaway in Sheffield

Love the meat feast pizza. But when requiring specific preferences how you want your food, is not what you recieve. Disappointed

Open driving past Jack’s takeaway. I remember this place opening when I was a teenager, living on the Shiregreen estate. I was under the impression that this place should still be as good as what it always was. Unfortunately, I was gravely mistaken. What a dirty unsafe discriminative business this has become.! Who on earth would try to rush a customer out of the shop when the customer has placed an order. Especially when the customer says “ I’m disabled” please don’t rush me. Well. Here we go. I face this situation with People who have no compassion or patience on a regular basis. The last place what tried this was Adnans on west street Sheffield. Permanently closed after 25 years of trading. I wouldn’t say Jackos is a filthy, however. God help them if the Range Ever catches fire, because, as we all know if you try to put a range fire out with a foam fire, extinguisher, or a C02. It’s going to most likely going to engulf the staff member in a massive fireball. Try explaining this to the owner. He just laughed in my face. Hmm. Well. If they don’t care. They deserve enforcement. That’s been organised as we speak. I will not stand for any business what does NOT care about the health and safety in their business. Consequently the food I ordered was awful. I threw it in the bin. Ooh dear.!

This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 it deserves-100000000000999 it’s gross a white hair in my food and beans tasted like washing up liquid it’s gross

Love the chicken here and burgers are great too. With chip_shop chips.

Rude behaviour from staffs . Never ever visit …

Place stinks, all staff are sweaty and greasy, took my order and payment then told me. There's a 10 mins wait for chips, waited 15 mins and was served undercooked chips and doner meat that tasted like it had been sat in the bain marie 3 days. Never going back and wouldn't reccomend wasting your money

Iv been going here years and went earlier and paid £9 for a mixed kebab that would feed a toddler never mind a adult proper gone down hill and will not be going back there and wouldn't recommend it as well 😂

I ordered food from here and when I came it was cold so I rang up to explane and they was rude and dint believe me but they still changed it and when the new one came it was hot but sadly the taste of it was disgusting chips was to dry the kerb was like rubber never ordering of here again now to the good things delivery time was excellent and delivery driver was excellent

Very rude employee talking in there own language is extremely rude poor customer service. food is not that good and cold and also extremely expensive for what you get I'd avoid in the future and that was my first time getting food from here

Dirty place around the back there is rats and food waist there hygiene certificate is fake and the quality of service is terrible. After getting my food from Jack's place I took it home and it was terrible went straight in the trash. So then I decided to go back there and take a look at the back of the shop to my amazement there were rats and food around there. should be wearing some kind of hair nets my opinion Also report to training standards. Avoid.

It was ok, the presentation was poor like it had been thrown in the box. Fish was small to what we usually get from Holme fishbar about half the size to be honest and was dearer. Not sure if it was a one off poor meal we received because it was near closing time. Won't be using again,guess we have been spoilt by our usual form Holme lane..

Soggy chips, sausage tasted like fragrance. They shouldn't be serving English food. Didn't put any salt and vinegar on the food and they don't understand English. So bad I ended up giving it to the cat

Shop is full off nonses can't keep there eyes off little girls everyone I spoke to has also noticed makes me sick one guy got sacked for grooming years ago but they all love little girls they all spring to life with wide nonce eyes 👀 when a youth goes in the shop🤢.

What a ripoff!!! ordered the munch box 2 £14.50... All chips & wedges... Very little kebab & chicken..... I will NOT order from there again.....

We ordered food, onion rings was dripping in grease, horrible the paper they came in was soaked with it. Not good and defo not impressed at all :( 2 stars is being kind to be honest !!!

Pure perfection ... if you want quality food at a great price this is the place to be . Delivery guy absolutely fantastic a true credit to Jack's place , a real superstar .

Nice foot but they tell you 40 to 50 mins then it takes 1 hour and 30 min to come

Not had jack's for years due to moving house but I recently found out they now deliver to my area. Ordered online and received it TWO hours later. This place has definitely gone down hill from the last time I ordered. The chicken kebab was extremely gristly and squigy and the chips were full of black bits. I used to frequent jacks twice weekly and became friends with the original owner. This used to be an excellent takeaway but now it's definitely changed for the worse.

They don't pay attention to the customers, are way to close to each other, they make jokes then laugh in front of the customers in their own language, don't take card payments and tell customers to go to the ATM and they swear at people in their language.

Rip off merchants menu price was £11 delivery driver asking for £17

First time we ordered food from Jack's place from just eat and we really enjoyed our meals. The meat was amazing and the chippy chips was the best we've had for a while. Would definitely be ordering from here again and would recommend. 👍

We got fish and chips it was ok. But the batter was so oil soaked and thick underneath. Cheesy chips are well expensive. Huge portion sizes though. Donna meat is nice. Again a bit greasy. Nice salad to accompany it
