When it's good, it's the best you'll get. But twice now in the last couple of weeks I've asked for paneer and got chicken. Tonight's chicken was dry burnt pieces (hence why I don't order it!). I'm giving up ordering now.

Quality has really gone downhill quick here all curry’s taste the same shame as there were one of the best in the area for a while

The delivery took about an hour and a half which is a little too long for a takeaway. When it came the curry packaging had been poorly put in so it had leaked everywhere. Then the curry was basically just full on loads of little onions and it was so salty it was practically inedible. Really disappointed as I’ve had nice meals from here before but I’ve left the majority of the curry because it’s just way too salty.

Consistency great food. Reasonably priced.

Please please do not listen to any bad reviews this is now the only Indian we go to and tonight was another reason why! I told the restaurant it was a special occasion and they went above and beyond! Blown away! Really made our evening and the food is amazing! And portion sizes brilliant. 5 stars all day every day

Ordered takeout from here I had been waiting for an hour and still haven’t got my food. When I rang the restaurant to ask where my food was they kicked off and said cancel the order and promptly told me to get lost. I would like the owner of this restaurant to email me with an explanation as to why their staff are so rude

Been ordering from here for 4 maybe 5 years tonight & a couple of weeks ago we ordered it was clear on the website it went through as a delivery good job we checked as it was a pickup & had to phone up to say we can't pick it up no problems we will bring it out which they did got here & I was in the kitchen the food was on the side & I kept getting a whiff of something off I opened all the container's it was the bhajis & the Somoza I've chucked the lot in the big & kept a bit of everything for environmental health never smelt anything like it fuming 😡

If you are Closed at 10:30pm on Sunday night then put a sign up saying that you are closed. Been here a few times now at various times and never been served and it's become obvious that you don't like orders in store. Tax dodgers.

Placed an order for a Saturday night delivery on the 18th of March the app said 60mins, then when order another 20min was add. The food eventually turned up 1hour 40 after ordering. No apology, no nothing. As for food - Luke warm at best so all had to be reheated. Disappointing. Annoying when you have a great and look forward to it to be so badly let down.

Used this takeaway for a year or so , was bang on. But recently the dishes have been increadably salty. I reported this to them but was told it was me, wouldn't mind but I do like my salt but Jesus this was salty. Gave them another chance and the same again. Won't be ordering again

My wife tried to order food at 6.42 and stated website was not working,she rang through to place order and still not received 2 hours later,disgraceful customer service and lies throughout...I will be honest the food has always been amazing but the service is disgusting,rang to cancel and had to ring back repeatedly to get a refund...sorry but do not use this place if you are hungry and want your food within 2 hours,will never use again.

I collected my order It was hot The vegetables in the curry were crisp and fresh The chicken tikka was tender and plenty of it. Great naan bread. Pleasant service. I cannot fault this takeaway.

First ordered 2 yrs ago and it was the best Indian takeaway. Sadly, yesterday evening, we had the worst. The price had increased considerably, which is understandable given the current cost of living price hikes, but the food was terrible and the wait for it to arrive was ridiculous. Mediocre cuisine, cold when it got to us. Ordered on line and informed after payment made the it would be 1hr 30 mins for deliver. Had to call 1hr and 40mins later to see where it was and was told it was with the driver, finally got our cold food 2hrs after ordering. I'd try somewhere else if I were you, we will be doing just that next time.

AVOID SAVE YOUR MONEY I’ve been ordering from here for years without complaint until about a year ago when the standard started to drop I thought I’d give it one last try tonight wish I hadn’t Ordered online delivery was supposed to be one hour after an hour an half I rang them to be informed it would be there in 10 minutes After just under two hours it finally arrived Onion bhajis were rock hard no salad Poppadoms tasted old no onion salad or dips The chapatis were under cooked like eating A wellington boot Rice was dry and the curry was tasteless meat chewy needless to say I won’t be ordering from here again

Previously rated five stars but sadly gone down hill since. Food isn't the best but is okay. The two stars is largely because its always always late! Haven't ordered for a short while as the person in the phone was really rude to my husband who rang to see where the food was after a three hour wait. A real shame as Indian Kitchen was the place for curry in its prime!

Instead of a curry we received a rice dish with prawns in and the tandoori butter chicken looked and tasted like tandoori chicken pieces in custard sauce. It was totally inedible. My partner took it back to the store and the response of the guy serving was completely dismissive. He smiled and said there was nothing he could do about it. He said that the dishes we had chosen were his bestsellers which is not true and it was our fault for choosing something we didn't like. Instead of putting things right they made us even more upset. What a disappointing way to treat until now loyal customers. Won't be going back again or recommending to friends.

Food was amazing, they forgot 1 thing off our order, but redeemed themselves by quickly sending it out plus extra s👍would highly reccomend

Food came earlier than expected. Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh! Its the best Indian cuisine takeaway we've had. We ordered following a neighbour recommendation. Spot on!

Used to order regularly and found it was good value for money but recently we've found the prices creeping up and quality going downhill. Decided to give it another go at the weekend and the order was part wrong, prices were pretty poor and the food was just really bland. The tikka was dry and seemed burnt, the curries had no real flavour and all in all it was just a complete waste of money. It's a real shame but we won't be ordering again. We'll find somewhere new.

Ordered from here for years however it's got alot worse. Cheap produce at high price. Not a cheap Indian but shocking food last couple of times. Delivery time is shocking and then add another half hour on top. Anyone wanting a Indian go taj Mahal down road

Food still hasn’t arrived and is already 45 minutes late. Phoned the restaurant 15 minutes ago to ask how long the food would be, was told 10-15 minutes without them even asking me for my address so they could check. Won’t be ordering from here again

Restaurant standard takeaway at reasonable prices. Set meal for 1 will feed 2 people and it's delicious

Been ordering from this place since it opened. Never greasy or oily. Always tastes good and portions have remained plentiful! I have had all sorts from here and it has never been wrong. Will happily reccomend and push this place to anyone that likes Indian food

Got the order wrong twice was not willing to put right 2 times in a row missing rice chips and starters first time so yes if you want a curry that's what you will get only!! second time was willing to give bennifit of doubt and was wrong again so was promised on the house next time to find the owner been rude and refuse to do as promised so yes if you want good food but missing part of orders go for it if not stick to saffron spice unhappy as I'd alway rate this takeaway but not now never

Do not order from here. I had a menu posted today so ordered on the prices given. Delivery arrived much more than it was supposed to be. Rang and questioned it, apparently prices have gone up..... Already??? . And it was the worst Indian I ever had.

I visited with my friends and it was a friendly place,i really enjoyed ,the food was excellent,i loved the spices they used.

had a really bad experience with this restaurant ... are they serious about there business ? i ordered food today on 22:00 i got the notification that I'll receive my food at 22:50 ... but till 23:30 no delivery came ... when finally the delivery came on 23:45. driver leaves the order on reception and when i got my parcel. i opened the bag .... IT WAS WRONG FOOD .... I ORDERED VEG and they sent me NON-VEG .. which i can't eat ... and there was no bill in the bag the WHOLE FOOD WAS DIFFERENT from which i ordered ... reply this restaurant needs to think about this ...

Appalled. Incompetent criminals. Charged twice for a order that was incorrect and cold on arrival. Now struggling to get a refund for the duplicated charge let alone the incorrect and inedible delivery. Eating from a gutter would be less risky.

We had a excellent meal. Would recommend Arabian lamb and lamb jalfrezi. Quick delivery, good value for money. Nice and hot when it arrived. Excellent thankyou from 1st time tryers. Will definitely order again.

We ordered this with the wait time expected 60 minutes. It took almost 3 hours to arrive. I rang up and they said they were so busy and it was going to be with us in 20 minutes. It took 50. They also sent me a text after calling trying to scam me out of more money saying ‘thank you for placing an order, pay here…’. The food had been prepaid so I reported this as fraud. Overall not worth it for the waiting time, unhelpful staff and scamming.

Place has gone down hill since it first opened. Was always a little late but staff was always polite and made sure we got our order. Now the place has gone down hill or take their customers for granted. Last order the trays was half full late and tasteless. This time round over 2hrs late and was lied to on the twice, not good for business. Sadly we won't be ordering from this place again. Being late is one thing but the lies makes you wounder, what goes on when there cooking. On a good note they gave me a refund without question.

I can't fault there curry's lovely but the past couple of times we have ordered the delivery has been late and we never got updated by the restaurant today we ordered at 6:10 and 8:20 I rang myself to see where the order was and it was still at the restaurant and was going to be another 30 minutes thats an absolute joke and we will not order again which is a huge disappointment as the curry's are good!

Absolutely poor service that charged me for food but I haven't had my food they changed delivery time from 30 minutes to 2 hours I cancelled my order but I been charged for it

My partner and I ordered the set menu box for two which has poppadoms, choice of starter, choice of main, pilau rice and a naan. We were very happy with our delivery. I went for a chicken chaat (starter) and chicken rogan josh (main) whilst my partner went for a onion baji (starter) and chicken korma (main). There was so much food, but we were very happy with the flavours and temperature of our food upon arrival. Will definitely be ordering from The Indian Kitchen again. We got stuck in so quickly, I forgot to take any photos.

Just got our takeaway I ordered chicken tikka masala it was the worse chicken tikka masala I've ever tasted it was basically a chicken korma with red food dye I'm still picking coconut out of my teeth from the one mouthful I tasted so the lot went in the bin I'll never order or recommend them again

Fantastic food and staff. The food is gorgeous and everything tasted very nice. From adult food to kids food everything taste gorgeous. Please go to Indian kitchen I recommend it for sure. The staff was great wasn't even waiting long for my food too. Very clean and tidy place. 5star from us the Harrison family!!!

1 star, should have gone to mangla. The food was cold and was the worst we have had. Lemon rice with pieces of chopped lemon with skin on in it?? Diabolical and awful! Greasy too.

First time ordering from here, the curry and bombay lamb was OK but the sheek kebab and pakora's were very dry, tasted like old meat. Overall the curry was OK but don't think I'd order again.

I can not understand the negative reviews?? Our last 5 orders have been fantastic, fresh, authentic taste and delivered hot. This time the delivery was 20mins earlier than we expected, the portions are generous. Even the delivery driver was friendly, I cannot fault this place.,...

The food is okay but placed an order on their website and, when the payment had cleared, a 40p "service charge." appeared which was not authorised. This was for a collection! I find this sharp practice very unseemly.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I am pretty boring when it comes to spiciness and always have chicken korma with coconut rice, but my god! It is the best I've ever had! The only thing I would suggest is the portion of curry isn't a lot. More sauce is needed.

Fantastic. Best curry curry I've had in years! Great app to order for delivery or take away. Plenty of vegan or veggie options and they accommodate well for tweaks in the spice level. The only criticism I have would be for the delivery drivers to invest in thermal bags to ensure the food is piping hot on arrival. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you. Highly recommended!

All I can say is this is the best curry ever. I wish I had taken a picture but I wolfed it down. We had two of the specials and they were both amazing. On time and hot. Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. Cold watery curry, hard crispy rice, cardboard like naan. It arrived over an hour late (after we waited 90 minutes) so two and a half hours wait for food that wasn’t even as good as a ready meal.

All curries tasted exactly the same, very bland, delivery was 2 hours long and food arrived aired. Will not be ordering again.

Food arrived 50 minutes late. Very disappointed when it did arrived. Food was soggy, chicken was chewy. Generally prepared really badly with a lack of flavour.

Ordered at 7.30 pm, after a phone call at 9.45pm to chase it up we finally received it at 10.10 pm, this has happened the last two or threes times. Unfortunately Indian Kitchen is losing its good reputation because it doesn’t have the capacity for the demand, this is also having a negative effect on the quality of the food, unfortunately, we won’t be ordering from them in future.

I ordered my food around 7:20pm... i was told that my food which was only two curries by the way! Would not be delivered until 9:15pm! At 9:30pm i called the take away and spoke to a very very rude person who told me it would be another 30mins at least. Thats almost 3 hours and still no apology! Biggest & best bhajis I've ever had. Ordered lamb biriyani & a lamb madras, absolutely fantastic, would definitely recommend, love it. First order was on time & would definitely have paid more for this quality.

Been using Indian kitchen for a long time now and usually half decent for a ruby takeaway. Ordered online Saturday night and it arrived before scheduled so that’s a bonus for this place. Bengal chicken starter was spot on and recommend. Chicken Jalfrezi again decent...

Just collected an order from here as it's usually decent. Butter chicken very pale cannot taste any spices in the sauce after mixing it. Chips are not fresh at all. Hard and taste refried. Nans are also incredibly small and chewy compared to other local takeaways

Orderd food with them at 18.10 and it took over three hours for the food to arrive after being told there would be a 40 minute delay. Not happy with the service and certainly won't be ordering again which is a shame.

Just got my order I ordered a set meal chicken buna never had a bad meal from here but tonight there was no coriander in my curry and very salty

Just ordered a king prawn Bhuna that was the smallest curry ever and not very nice to eat,there was quite a few king prawns in it,and a nan bread it was a small as a slice of bread,the nan bread a £1.70 not worth that,Katherine curry was £8.60 not worth that ,will not be ordering from there again,..

Giving it two stars is being generous. There is literally no flavour to this curry and this veg is nothing but onions!!!! The disappointment and this rubbery thing in the rice... What is it???? Well, this is our first and last time purchasing from this place. I'm into spice and flavours and this is completely lacking... I guess some people will eat and rave about anything when they don't know good food. Kebabish keep the grease down, deliver all our orders and on time and you'll have us for life. Worst curry ever like something you'd buy precooked at Tesco's.

The chicken chaat wasn't what I expected. The lamb tikka biryani was ok, but the tandoori chicken biryani was really good and I definitely will be ordering again..Thanks Indian Kitchen you did not disappoint me...

What a fab curry house. Their chicken tastes the best and it's just so tangy and delightful. Used to think nobody can do better than takeaway at our old place but these guys well surpassed it!! :-)
